hello team Idena
Idena mining reward per day is 6 idena, will the reward be any less than now ? Will Idena be able to list on major exchanges?

There is fixed 51840 DNA per day per all nodes. So more nodes = lower rewards for each node.
If you have more basic questions you will find answers very fast here:
https://idena.io/?view=faq
https://idena.site/idena-introduction/
https://idena.site/faq_tutorials.php#answer4

You can buy/sell IDENA on Qtrade - quite good exchange registered in US. Vitex and huobi. In terms of major exchanges - there are rumors (rumors only) about huobi listing. We are close to lauch of ETH bridge that will allow idena to be listed on all ETH dexes.

Ijust hope that rumors true i mean if you look at ETH Fee  Shocked Shocked Shocked Idena could be the next Smart Chain or Tron Network

and mining reward getting low while the price still stable ~200 Satoshi i just hope after listing on major exchange like BInance the price will pump and USDT change add more network to Idena  Grin Grin

I don't think that coin where is 24 Hour Trading Vol just a $27,661 can be listed on exchanges like Binance, it takes a lot more activities. they cannot cover operating costs in such a small market.

What is mean ETH bridge? Idena address structure 0x67... already led me to make a mistake and send IDNA to Ethereum address. How is smart to use Eth network with such a high fee in time when Idena network working well. I think it's wasting time.

In fact its much lower than that because hotbit, probit and vitex fake 90%-99% of volume but i doubt that binance take care about volume of top 1000 cmc coins. They know that big volume wont appear on 3 shitty scammy exchanges and 1 legit but super tiny no matter how good coin is. And they list coins that have 0 trading volume (not listed anywhere). They list coins with 0 community, bought 8k members on telegram with fake automatic discussion from bot accounts (LIT). Listing IDENA is possible but not yet. Not so fast. Maybe after successful pancake listing and exposure to biggest non-ETH dex with super cheap transaction fees.

What is mean ETH bridge? Idena address structure 0x67... already led me to make a mistake and send IDNA to Ethereum address. How is smart to use Eth network with such a high fee in time when Idena network working well. I think it's wasting time.

To be listed on uniswap for free instead of paying for kucoin listing(kucoin has 800mln $ daily volume)?

With ETH bridge
uniswap listing (ETH chain) - 1 mld $ daily volume - expensive fees, to reach big, new audience and big investors
Thanks to ETH bridge
pancake swap listing(BSC chain  - ETH compatible) - 500 mln $ dily volume - cheap fees, to reach big, new audience and many small investors.

I genuinely think that Idena is much better than 99% of the coins which are being discussed in this section of the forum. It has its own and unique consensus mechanism. It has more than 5000 unique humans/minters. It has one of the most active community (this topic is being bumped all the time) considering such a small market cap. What else new coin can brag with such things?

I just woke up run my Idena and this is what the IDENA client is showing, I have tried it ten times on 4 occasions with a gap of three hours but I'm getting the same results, is there anything that I should do to fix this issue, I have not created my task yet and it's only three days for the validation.

https://idena.site/faq/why-is-my-idena-app-all-white

If your Desktop App worked normal and this happened after sudden computer restart or something:
1. Go here: %appdata%\Idena
2. Delete settings.json file and Quit and start Idena again
your file probably got corrupted because of sudden restart. If just deleting settings.json does not help, rename all .json files there and restart Idena App.

If it's all white the first time you have started, then read following.
Idena app uses GPU acceleration to render its graphics content. If for some reason it can't access GPU to render its view, It will show all white screen. You can try to solve this by running it with "--disable-gpu" parameter.

This is how I managed to set it up in Windows:
1. Right click on "Idena" shortcut, choose "Properties"
2. In the "Target" field, add " --disable-gpu" at the end, click OK

100%. Most altcoins are just slight variants on the same idea with no ingenuity, whereas Idena presents something new and unique. Shame it hasn't been noticed by more people.

I keep getting mining penalties on my vps. I am not really sure what is causing it. I keep it updated/upgraded and rebooted every 24. My ipfs is cleared. This last time it crashed within 8 hours of last reboot while I was sleeping. I think it must be on my end, I'm just not sure what is causing it.

If you run node on 1GB vps, low ram memory is causing it, minimum is 2GB now. Hetzner has good deals, 3e for vps with 1 core and 2GB ram.

Does swap count? I have 4 GB of swap.... But, yeah I only have 1 GB of memory otherwise. I guess I can upgrade it the price is going up some so the profit margin is growing a bit. I expect it will go up more in future so it is worth it to upgrade, but I dont want to if i dont have to.

It does not perform good under swap, its pretty much useless. 2GB is a must at this point.

You can try in the IDENA Telegram groups (is getting more difficult by the day to get one, the invites are limited):

Unique consensus? Maybe unique approach of joining the mining/minting pool. But consensus is another thing.

I was under the impression that the oracle voting built into the wallet was a consensus protocol. What would you consider it then? Maybe you have not used recent versions? The proof of person to verify is something completely different...

Register to Hetzner via this link and you will get 20eur free to spend on VM during next 2 months.

Registration link : https://hetzner.cloud/?ref=r5rMMGuB4sDp

I think that your referral link is better to offer in the telegram channel , there often ask for links to the VPS server  Wink

Sorry to say that but reflinks are illegal to be included to posts on bitcointalk. You can ask people to write PM to you if reflink is a win-win solution.

I was under the impression that the oracle voting built into the wallet was a consensus protocol. What would you consider it then? Maybe you have not used recent versions? The proof of person to verify is something completely different...

Consensus Algorithms in Blockchain

A consensus algorithm is a procedure through which all the peers of the Blockchain network reach a common agreement about the present state of the distributed ledger.

source: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/consensus-algorithms-in-blockchain/

As far as I know Idena uses BFT (Byzantine Fault Tolerance) consensus.

The proof of person to verify is something completely different...

Agree, but this is not consensus. This is how you can join the "validators pool", not how blocks are validated/added to the blockchain (consensus).

It is a consensus. POW is a consensus where 1 hash = 1vote, POS is a consensus where 1$ = 1vote, POP is a consensus where 1 person = 1 vote.

"PoW and PoS (proof of stake) are the two best known consensus mechanisms."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof_of_work

So Proof of Person is also a consensus mechanism.
