201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 91,000 by 2020? on: April 03, 2018, 10:24:40 AM
Fundstrat founder and strategist Tom Lee recently announced that bitcoin prices would reach $ 91,000 by March 2020. What do you think about this prediction? Please comment on this issue?
That would be great, but I am not sure, because there:

50% people with extremely high targets.
and
50% people with more and more bearish targets.

I think 50k possible this year, but let'S see.

Let's hope that he is right, because many hodlers are underwater right now.

The fear level is very high right now, so there is a good chance for upside soon.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: If an exchange gets hacked on: April 02, 2018, 10:32:00 PM
Well when NANO just got hacked last month on Bitgrail they said that it was only NANO (XRB then) and the rest of the funds are safe. I will believe it when I see the rest of my funds, up until then I obviously will have reservations on their character.
Yes always trust your own eyes only. But you can not really compare Binance with Bitgrail. Bitgrail was/is operated by a person who calls himself "The Bomber"...
Unfortunately Bitgrail is still not open. I am regreating very hard that I have not transfered my nano coins to a wallet. Sad
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: March 31, 2018, 07:15:50 PM
Not all but airdrops are mostly shitcoins. The bounties are somewhat safer but some of the are also scam which nothing like shitcoin still. That is why if you are going to join some bounty campaigns I guess you are also ready to lose something vital not just time. So before joining you might wanna check the kind of project the team is about to be doing and will they be achieving the target funds with the whitepaper presented to the investors.
Agreed.but all of airdrop coins are not shit, last year I got DeepOnion coin.I got a good amount of money from this airdrop.Still holding some of my coin.I hope this coin price would raise more.Instead of airdrop bounty are good to me.
DeepOnion is not a real airdrop, it is only a signature campaign. Airdrops dont require accomplishing tasks in return.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: March 08, 2018, 11:41:42 AM
i think airdrops and bounties are important to grow the community..........i participate on both because its free money/free coins..........
Yes, I exactly think the same. If you own the product, then you are the product. With a big airdrop community you will also get things like voting for exchange listings done better and faster.

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very important ico <Ocean protocol > coming up, Whitelisting starting on 2/15 on: March 08, 2018, 10:34:58 AM
The maximum contribution amount is only 1.825 ETH? Really? Is this a joke?  Why is it that low?
It is not low, bearish market + more than 1 year locked, many will leave and I am sure that the cap will not be reached

It is not a small contribution cap? If you are sure that the soft/hard cap will not be reached why are you saying that the max contribution amount per user is not too low?

This does not make sense imho.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This week's most promising ICO's on: March 08, 2018, 10:32:25 AM
I will sign this one today: https://www.blockcollider.org/genesis.html

Very interesting idea and seems to be flying under radar. Also no risk of bounty hunter dumping expected.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about CLO? on: March 08, 2018, 10:06:09 AM
I have sold all my coins that I had on my balance to buy ETC to participate in recent Calypso's fork. Current price is 1,6$, what do you think - is it worth to hold it or better to exchange on some oldy like WAVES or any other like that?
In my opinion the team managed the airdrop extremely unprofessional. They tried to reach out the Bittrex the first time two days before the drop and Trex rejected it. Sad
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1-2 years of Bear Market from now? on: March 08, 2018, 10:05:03 AM
So, everybody is in big loss right now because of bear market.
All altcoins suffering, decreasing in value each day passed.
I don't know, but for me it is clear at least 1 year we re sit in  bear market.
No, only the latecomers are in big loss right now. If you are in the game since 1-2 years you should still be fine.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: March 08, 2018, 10:03:27 AM
Last year alts rise a lot. I dont know the average percentage. But when I check coins in the market at year 2013 lots of them dead now (too low ranks). probably new tech coins won them (like peercoin, namecoin, ixcoin etc)

Also we are following new ICO s and most of us expecting too much gain from new coins which are not at the market. If our ICO expectations will happen, when they added to market, current market coins will go down. kind of paradox  Huh
Depends on which one you hodl. Buy only things with good fundamdently and hodl them at least until next euphoria phase. Good ones are Waves or Byteball imho for example.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very important ico <Ocean protocol > coming up, Whitelisting starting on 2/15 on: March 08, 2018, 09:50:04 AM
Looks like the whitelist is closed
The pre sale for whitelisted users started yesterday. Unfortunately the max contribution amount per user was only 1.8 ETH. Sad
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Bethereum] - ⚽ Witness the ✞ funeral ✞ of conventional betting [iOS demo] 🏀 on: March 03, 2018, 01:51:38 PM
I am really excited about Bethereum idea and I also like the team behind the project.

I hope that all those bounty hunters will not instadump right after exchange listing.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XSPEC x200 this year on: March 03, 2018, 01:47:10 PM
What do you think the future of XSPEC, will it do x200 this year or its just a hype coin?

Three months ago, ZClassic was at $1, went to $235 in Jan.

Is it good to hold this coin?
This target is too high imho. Do you know that it already took a x100 jump from ICO price until where we are now?

I think x10 is possible, but not x100.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: March 03, 2018, 11:08:13 AM
There will be another drop, soon... hope to get some more, too Cheesy
Do you have an official source for that?

Will it be an airdrop for holders or some bounty like drop where people getting rewards for accomplishing easy tasks?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [OCT] Octus - Send cryptocurrencies in seconds to people around the world on: March 03, 2018, 11:07:20 AM
When I try to open the whitepaper by clicking on the whitepaper button nothing happens.

Can you please provide a link to the whitepaper here in the ANN thread?

I've received the bounty at KuCoin too  Grin
Yes, was wondering where this tokens came from. Happy that I have received it. Free is free money. Take it or leave it. Cheesy
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: If an exchange gets hacked on: March 03, 2018, 09:14:08 AM
I was just wondering about something. From time to time we see exchanges get hacked, with a big loss of Bitcoins for the customers as a result. However, I was wondering if the other coins and tokens you are invested in disappears as well? Let's say Ripple, Zcash, Monero etc.
You can not say that before the hack. Look at Bitgrail hack:

Only NANO coins disappeared. All the other assets should be safe according to statement of Francesco the Bomber.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The highest risk/reward play this week - ZCL and BTCP on: March 03, 2018, 09:09:44 AM
For those unaware, ZCL is forking into BTCP on the 28th. ZCL holders get 1 BTCP for every ZCL they own. ZCL will dump incredibly hard post fork, so your profit is pretty much dependent on Bitcoin Private's opening price. If ZCL is $200 at time of fork, it means BTCP needs to open around $200 for you to break even. Technically no one knows what BTCP will open at, but going by previous trends, $300 seems like a low baseline, with $500 being reasonable as well.

Here's why this is a crazy play this week and why I'm personally pretty much all-in. Right now, ZCL is about $130, namely because Binance/Bittrex have not announced they are supporting the fork yet (which is not uncommon, Bittrex has waited as low as 2 days before to announce).

IF Bittrex announces support on the fork tomorrow, ZCL will easily moon 50% if not more. If they don't, you can either get out of the coin ASAP and maybe lose 10-20% or hold through the fork and take your bets on BTCP (which is what I'll be doing). You risk a relatively low amount of loss for a gigantic gain solely based on if they announce it or not.

With the market the way it is, this just seems like the correct play to me. The reward outweighs the risk so much. All it takes is one tweet that everyone expects to come (Bittrex not supporting it would be incredibly surprising).
I think most of the pre fork gains already happened.

I would recommend not to buy into ZCL because of the fork. Very high risk in my opinion.
As already said to buy into ZCL right before the fork was a bad idea. It dumped hard as expected. I hope you all learned your lesson.

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: February 25, 2018, 06:38:06 PM
For sure, alts will crash multiple times during 2018. This is party of the adoption cycle.

But the valuable alts always will receover and come back stronger.
