This one that i have is 7.5 amp it says on it and its not hot at all.. Also the miner is batch 2 if that is anything different?

Im using the 4.9.2 cgminer as was the last version i figured the best?
I did try the bfgminer or whats the name but it didnt work :/...
Yes, was 7.5 amp PSU and I am running the version 2 of the U3 w/ the 12v 30 amp psu..
583  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer u3 not hashing on: July 31, 2015, 07:46:58 PM
Ok i bumped up to 810 volt and freq 250  and getting 14.9 im using the stock charger that looks like a laptop charger... Did you use a custom one?
Yes, 12v 30 amp The one it came with was Insanely hot and the U3 would stop hashing a lot. Putting the power supply in the Freezer helped out till I got the 30 amp from Amazon for $23
P.S. Cgminer 4.9.2
584  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s2 No longer showing fans or blades and no longer hash? on: July 31, 2015, 06:52:23 PM
I have a similar problem with S5.I have sent a board to Bitmain. They will check.I have never over clocked.

I have measured the voltage of working and not working board.I have found the problematic chip by this way.If a chip is malfunctioning the board does not work.

I recommend you to measure the voltage of first and last chips.

Today, I can not access to the miner.I am suspicious of a virus which effects miners.
Oh, damn he said he is going to smash them if they do not sell On Ebay, lol. Hes NUTZ! Has them both for $50 w/ $19 shipping, w/ the wrong pic, lmfao!

Any screen shots?Have you updated firmware recently?
No did not mess with Firmware. They just both show x.x.x.x for hardware
587  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to mine over Network Cable with S1? on: July 30, 2015, 08:21:02 AM
Ok, so now I am able to get the S1 to mine over a Network Cable by changing the WAN to DHCP but I have to use WiFi to access the Config screen. But how do I access the Config screen threw the network cable instead of using 192.198.1.9 over wifi?  Shocked
588  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: July 29, 2015, 10:39:45 PM
My Miner keeps going to another pool? Not sure what is up? It reconnects to bitminter tho.

How often does this happen?

Could you try us2.bitminter.com:3333 or eu1.bitminter.com:3333 and see if that is more stable for you than mint.bitminter.com:3333 ?

Maybe once in 24 hours. Added another Miner and Worker today and the new one keeps disconnecting. But just seen your suggestion on the Stratum so set that one to the new worker.
589  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s2 No longer showing fans or blades and no longer hash? on: July 29, 2015, 07:39:01 PM
Fiddling around with this, Hooked it back up and the temp showed on the LCD and it started hashing away. unhooked it and will not show temp or the blades in the settings or fan speeds and lights on blades any longer again. Lights on Control board and MB r on?  Bad Control Boards? Reseated everything in both? They do the same thing in another location on the LCD and in the miner config screen.
590  Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer s2 No longer showing fans or blades and no longer hash? on: July 29, 2015, 03:29:56 AM
Ok, Unhooked 2 Antminer s2's hooked them back up but will not Mine. Went in to the Config and logs in and then go to Miner stats but NO fan speeds r showing and no Blades? On both Miners that have been hashing 30 mins before hand for days strait? The LCD does not show any Temp reading at all on one or the other?? WTF?

plug a network cable into your laptop and straight into the s1

set your laptops network ipv4 to a 192.168.1.59 or similar IP

log into the s1 via 192.168.1.99 (i think that was default)

set your S1 to DHCP on WAN and LAN under the network tab

unplug the network cable from your laptop and into the router

reboot the s1

change laptops network ipv4 setting back to DHCP

log into your home router and find 'antminer' and see what the IP is

log into that IP and config your pools

done Smiley

It is connected, I can get it to it threw the Network Cable, but will only Mine on WiFi?

595  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What is the best router to use to mine bitcoin with Time Warner Cable internet on: July 23, 2015, 07:30:52 PM
what is you time warner router address?  192.168.0.1  or 192.168.1.1?

if you have  a 0.1   you need your miner to have 0.xx       my guess is your router has a 0.1 ending and the miner has 1.99 or 1.something

How do I get a S1 to mine on the network cord? I can only get it to mine on the WiFi?  I changed the Network settings to my router like it said in the guides but will only mine when the Wifi is turned on? I would rather have it mine hard wired to the router. ty!

Can you tell us a little about your network on IP and settings? And then post the LAN settings via a pic on here.

That will help a lot.

The settings r,

IPv4 netmask  255.255.255.0

IPv4 gateway  192.168.1.1

IPv4 broadcast  192.168.1.255

Use custom DNS servers  192.168.1.1

It is set to  STATIC addy

Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 (googls DNS).   Is your router giving out 192.168.1.X numbers?

If so try ip of pool and see if that makes any difference.  Also instead of typing next time try screen shot as mentioned Smiley
Change DNS in the router or the Miner?   Yes the Router is showing them numbers. 192.168.1.1

As I asked before can you please take a screenshot of your network page?  A screenshot not words Smiley

It still has other DNS in there try: 8.8.8.8

If that does not work see if you can get to pool via ip.  Let me know how it goes.
It will not let me put in 8.8.8.8
