221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do you keep allcoins? on: August 10, 2021, 02:30:33 PM
I keep coins because I am a trader and also an investor. Before I decide to buy and hold any coin, I will do some market research and technical analysis so that I can find the best one to hold. I understand that there is always a risk of holding for a long time, so I will set a limit on selling my coins "stop-loss" while holding so that I can avoid losses whenever unexpected dumps occur.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: August 10, 2021, 02:21:54 PM
  • You follow a persons advice through his social account post example is Elon musk
  • You still believe that a certain coin will come back from the dead even though you already knew its a scam
  • you just follow your instinct and never make single research
  • emotions still control you to decided
Well said and I agree with you. We should always do our own research away from the advice of another trader so that we can protect our money. Still, there are many people out there who do things easily like investing/trading any coin/token just because they saw one post on Twitter saying "This coin will pump huge" !!! Also, we have to be careful with the emotions as you said. If we cannot control our emotions, they will control us and we will continue to make bad decisions with our money when trading or investing.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: August 10, 2021, 02:10:08 PM
There are many coins to invest "$10,000" and earn a good profit. But the most important thing before investing your money is to make in-depth research about the coin that you want to invest in. Even if someone tells you there is a good coin to invest in for a long time, without your own research you may regret it later.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Trade On Emotions on: August 10, 2021, 01:53:29 PM
Investing is a very broad field and there are many challenges if you do not have investment knowledge. So it is better to learn the basics of the investment you want to make in order to avoid such investment of using emotions rather than knowledge. Personally, I have lost a lot of money on some currencies because of emotions, but now I have knowledge about investing so it is difficult to lose as often as in the past.
225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why buy bitcoins and not altcoins? on: August 09, 2021, 09:48:46 AM
There's more than 10 thousand alts and tokens in the market but only one Bitcoin.
Quite a positive argument!

Personally, I was having a very difficult time coming across a topic like this which asking why should I buy only bitcoins and not altcoins? But now you have opened my mind! Altcoins are plentiful though some of them are profitable, but they still can't achieve the quality of Bitcoin because it really exists on its own and it is the very first!

I heard a lot of people saying it's hard to get merits in the Bitcointalk forum but I think they are wrong! What I've learned from some replies on this topic is that whenever you will post a good thing "something meaningful/positive" then you will grant merit/merits from seniors because you deserve it for your good work Smiley

The beginning is always scary, but I will work hard and I know I will get merits!
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: August 09, 2021, 09:01:42 AM
I really hate when you register in a wallet or any project that requires KYC then they let you deposit money without KYC, but they tell you it's a must to complete KYC for withdrawing! That's like scamming I guess. Sometimes they may restrict some countries from their services but they will not tell you until you deposit your money, they do that because they know you will never complete KYC to withdraw your money.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scam Airdrops that sweep your wallet, avoid them. on: August 09, 2021, 08:53:13 AM
Yes, this is very bad because there are many newbies out there in blockchain technology, and perhaps they heard about free coins from airdrops but they did not know if scammers are using it as an advantege to still their money. I think we should be careful and always keep support each other especially newbies. Thanks!
