Okay, I have read your post on some thread. First, there's nothing wrong with a list, isn't it? Haven't you seen the overview of campaign/bounty managers here? Sure there are lot of them, see some of them below.

Probably never heard someone complaining about those lists whenever someone recommends them.

Second, Maus0728 didn't mention that this thread has the ONLY designers on this forum, besides this is a list, and it's normal to someone recommends this list/thread to people who need the service since it's easy to link in one URL/post instead of mentioning these people's ann thread/services one by one.

Third, these people are not stupid, maybe some of them lied already, but most of them have good ann threads and portfolio, people who have negative feedback(s) related to this service have been labeled as untrustworthy so people will be aware and won't use their service.

Fourth, I'm not paying anyone who recommends this thread, don't have a budget to that,

That's a compilation thread of all members here in Bitcointalk designer, they aren't a group. If you have a portfolio(a previous job list of your design) probably you will add that list. I repeat that is a LIST of all forum members that have an offered a service designer.

Liar? No that isn't.
Some of them had a portfolio as their reference of good work and they had here for a long time of that kind of service.

It's a list, not a group.. every designer listed here works on his own.. and any designer can be listed..

This thread is really useful as it can attract costumers to you/other designers.

IMHO bL4nkcode create a list of group designers to help people who want to find designer in this forum more easy/convenient than searching one by one thread/user. And yeah it's just recommendation... people can choose whatever designer he want to hire.

Nowhere it is said in the original post that it's a group, nowhere it's said it's the only one avalaible. You got it wrong dude.
The guy wanted to list the users offering their services and yes as you say nobody can tell who to use to complete a job. Your money, your choice.

Though posting their design portfolio to avoid wasting their time designing is possible, I still suggest that you should be the one reaching them and examine their designs one by one. Most of the graphic designers in this community have posted their respective services thread.

Well, some users of bitcoin and other information regarding them is still private.

Th U.S can own nuclear weapons but would intervene when some other country tries to create one especially when they are not on cordial terms with such nation. There is political tension between both the U.S and China and as such they would not want their citizens to be monitored by them. It is also a means of hurting the growth of such apps, they've already lost a huge market in India.

Where would such a note be put? On the app or the store where it's downloaded from? Even if it was possible to send out such a warning, it would have very little effect, most people are not aware of how valuable their data is and would not mind it being snooped on.

the way you have been painting your imaginary doomsday scenario you are also unknowingly contradicting yourself here because if such scenarios took place then everything is going to turn into shit. your "business" will also go under, specially when it is new and small. and your "land" is also useless unless it is huge  you plan on planting potatoes in it and take the food market with it during the "doomsday"

That is, a currency that has value of its own, so-called intrinsic value (other than transactional utility), e.g. gold. Here, I don't question how truly valuable your solution would be. But let's assume that there is universal value in it, whatever it might be (think time as In Time). Then people will start hoarding it in pretty much the same way they are hoarding now Bitcoin. For your currency to actually work as a medium of exchange (which is your point), it should be depreciating over time, and it should be better than fiat at that (because we already have depreciating fiat)
