181  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 05, 2023, 09:41:59 PM
Saving money is an essential part of building wealth, and it can take some time to accumulate a significant amount. However, it's important to remember that every small step you take towards saving and investing can make a difference in the long run.

It's also important to have a clear goal in mind and a plan to achieve it. This can involve creating a budget, identifying areas where you can cut back on expenses, and finding ways to increase your income. As for your investment in bitcoin, it's essential to research and understand the risks and potential benefits before investing.

Remember that building wealth is not just about saving money; it's also about investing it wisely. This can involve diversifying your investments, seeking professional advice, and taking calculated risks. Keep learning and seeking knowledge about personal finance, and with time, patience, and discipline, you can achieve your financial goals.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Is capitalism killing morality in the name of the law? on: April 05, 2023, 09:39:48 PM
It is important to note that different societies and cultures may have different views on what is considered moral or immoral, and laws can reflect those societal norms and values.

It is also worth considering that regulations and laws can be put in place to protect consumers and ensure fair business practices, rather than solely to make more money for capitalists. Therefore, it is not accurate to suggest that all laws regulating these industries are solely motivated by profit.

Overall, the issue of the relationship between morality and capitalism is complex and multifaceted, and there are many different perspectives and arguments on the matter.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: April 04, 2023, 09:57:04 PM
That's an interesting observation. It's true that social media has become a platform for businesses to reach their target audience and promote their products or services. With the increasing number of people using social media, businesses have recognized the potential of these platforms to connect with customers and increase their revenue. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many businesses to move online, which has further contributed to the trend.

However, I believe that social media is still primarily a place for socializing and connecting with people. While businesses may have a significant presence on social media, individuals still use these platforms to share their personal experiences, connect with friends and family, and discover new things. It's also worth noting that social media can be a tool for individuals to start their own businesses and generate income, which is particularly relevant given the current economic climate.

Overall, I think the role of social media is evolving, and it's becoming more versatile in its applications. It's up to us as individuals to decide how we want to use social media, whether it's for socializing, promoting our businesses, or both."
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPPLY LIMIT on: April 04, 2023, 09:51:15 PM
The rate at which new bitcoins are mined is not constant and is actually designed to slow down over time. This is due to the Bitcoin protocol's built-in difficulty adjustment mechanism, which increases the computational difficulty of mining as more miners join the network. This means that it will take longer and longer to mine the remaining 2 million bitcoins as the network grows and more miners participate. Additionally, there is a finite limit on the number of bitcoins that can be mined due to the way the Bitcoin protocol is designed, which is why mining will stop once the 21 million mark is reached. So while it is technically possible to mine the remaining bitcoins before 2140, it is unlikely to happen due to the decreasing rate of mining and the difficulty involved in mining the remaining coins.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 04, 2023, 09:47:28 PM
You really don't need to convince anyone to accept bitcoin but if you want to go down that lane then you might consider adding the following: Bitcoin transactions are fast and secure, and can be done without the need for a middleman or intermediary, which can save you time and money in transaction fees. Additionally, Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, which means that it is not subject to the control of any government or financial institution. This makes it a safe-haven asset in times of economic uncertainty or inflation. Furthermore, Bitcoin is a scarce asset, with a limited supply of 21 million coins, which makes it an attractive option for those looking for a store of value or long-term investment.
186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe racism has come to stay!! ? on: April 03, 2023, 08:19:43 PM
On one hand, the fact that more than four out of ten respondents believe that racial equality has not been sufficiently advanced in the country, and that there is doubt about whether black people will ever enjoy equal rights with white people, suggests that racism is still a significant issue in modern American culture.

On the other hand, there are also many efforts to combat racism and promote equality in the United States. For example, there are numerous civil rights organizations, laws protecting against discrimination, and ongoing discussions and debates about race relations in the country. Additionally, the fact that a majority of American adults recognize the ongoing effects of slavery on black people suggests a willingness to acknowledge and address the issue.

Overall, it is up to individuals and society as a whole to continue working towards greater racial equality and to actively combat racism in all its forms. While progress has certainly been made, there is still much work to be done to ensure that all people are treated with dignity, respect, and equality
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage in crime activity. on: April 03, 2023, 08:01:06 PM
The issue you've raised is indeed a complex one, as it touches on the tension between privacy and security, as well as the desire for greater adoption and regulation of Bitcoin. While it's true that criminals have been known to use Bitcoin for illegal purposes, it's also worth noting that traditional currencies are also used for criminal activities, and that Bitcoin can actually be more traceable than cash in certain circumstances.

One potential solution to this problem is to develop more sophisticated technologies that can track and monitor Bitcoin transactions, without compromising the anonymity of individual users. This could involve developing new types of blockchain analytics tools that can identify patterns of suspicious activity, as well as working with law enforcement agencies to develop more effective methods for tracking down and prosecuting cyber criminals.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: April 03, 2023, 07:51:27 PM
It's true that demo trading lacks the emotional and mental resilience required in real trading. However, demo trading can still be helpful to practice and develop trading skills before transitioning to live trading. It's essential to find a balance between demo and live trading to gain practical experience and learn from mistakes.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 02, 2023, 09:42:01 PM
It is impossible to predict the future with certainty, but it is important to note that the potential rejection of crypto/Blockchain technology by major countries does not necessarily mean the end of the industry. While CEXs may face challenges in such a scenario, there are other options available, such as DEXs, which may become more prevalent as the technology continues to develop. Additionally, the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies means that they can still be used and traded without the need for centralized exchanges. However, it is important for the industry to continue to work towards mainstream adoption and regulatory clarity in order to ensure its long-term viability.
190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't get carried away. on: April 02, 2023, 09:35:37 PM
I completely agree with your points about the risks of sharing personal information on social media. It is essential to be cautious about who we give access to our contact details as we can never know what their intentions might be. We should always be vigilant and protect our privacy and security by being careful about the information we share online.

Furthermore, it is also crucial to remember that once we put our information out there, it becomes public property and can easily be misused. We should always think twice before giving out any personal information, especially our contact details, and only do so when necessary.
191  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you be in reincarnation? on: April 02, 2023, 09:30:08 PM
Many people believe in reincarnation based on personal experiences, spiritual or religious beliefs, or anecdotal accounts. Some also point to research on near-death experiences and past-life regression therapy as evidence for the existence of reincarnation. Ultimately, whether or not reincarnation is real is a matter of personal belief. While there is no scientific evidence to support the concept of reincarnation, it is a belief held by many people around the world and has played an important role in many cultures and religions throughout history.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync Era Mainnet launch on: April 01, 2023, 08:16:53 PM
It's a retroactive airdop so it's noteworthy to mention that you need funds to try out dapps on mainnet and you're somewhat funding your own airdop with the fees generated. Don't farm the airdop like your life depends on it but use those dapps when you really need to so that when you're rewarded it will really be worth it
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: April 01, 2023, 08:11:36 PM
Binance getting stronger with the FUDs is as a result of enough transparency from CZ. CZ will most likely have informed the public about an issue before it even becomes a problem and that gives a lot of users confidence in their dealings with Binance.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: March 31, 2023, 09:35:13 PM
The market does not care about your 'God-to-earn' prediction. There are very urgent and delicate matters that needs God attention than gambling on whether an inflationary token like shiba inu can go up to $50. Shiba inu at $1 is a pipe dream and you're already seeing it at 50$. Don't make mockery of God's name.
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking a partner on: March 31, 2023, 09:27:39 PM
Pardon me to say if you're not a scammer yourself there's every chance that those who would contact you wants to scam you. 100k is a whole lot of money to entrust to someone, you might as well learn all that is needed to learn to be a successful trader with a fraction of that money. But as you said that you've tried a lot of things, I'd say you leave future trading and focus your energy on spot. Buy and hold Bitcoin at low prices and sell at a decent amount of profit. You would be profitable in the long run
There are scammers in the space, looking for a partner is not the problem here, the main task is to get partner with good motives, other than their selfish interest towards your money. Trading colleagues aides one to improve on him or herself. $100k is a hugh figure and any expert in trading would make good use of that capital in gaining more enormous profits in the market. Most traders in the market doesn't have capital, so they tend to make small profits regarding their accounts sizes. However it depends solely on the market system, spot and future differs, but I'm going with future because it's the oil well for crypto trading.
The oil well of crypto is actually a very relative thing. I make the most money trading on spot than i do with futures couple with the fact that you're not at loss until you sell but on futures you can lose a lot of money from small change in market direction to your open orders.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 31, 2023, 09:24:34 PM
The price action of altcoins isn't 100% dependent on that of Bitcoin. Although, altcoins are heavily dependent on bitcoin but they can still make individual move without the influence of bitcoin to some extent. So it's absolutely normal for a 7% rise in bitcoin price to cause altcoins to increase by 3% and it is also normal for a 3% increase in price of bitcoin to cause 7% increase in the price of altcoins.
The correlation between the two is undeniable, when the price of bitcoin goes up altcoins go up, and when the price of bitcoin goes down the same happen with altcoins, not only this is something we can see, this is something which can be accurately measured as well, and if you do you will find out the correlation between the two is too high.

So while someone can invest in altcoins right now and hope for the best, it would be better for them to just invest in bitcoin and wait until the bull market comes, and if that time they still want to invest in altcoins then they can finally do so.
Last time I checked, Bitcoin dominance isn't up to 50%. Like I said altcoins can make drastic move on their own prolly due to some news or updates about the project. New listing can drive the price of altcoins upward or downward without the influence of whatever the price action of BTC is. Airdrop news can also change the price action of altcoins drastically without the influence of BTC.
197  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How much money is enough money? on: March 30, 2023, 08:54:09 PM
No amount of money is enough money. As long as we're alive and healthy we will continue to want more money. People may say if they have a billion then they will be satisfied but no one has a billionaire dollar just sitting in a bank without thinking of what to Invest in that can yield profit in overtime
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: March 30, 2023, 08:48:26 PM
Aside from being able to easily know what you're gaining as profits or losing in a crypto/stable coin pair, you're mostly likely going to be confused when you see price at 0.0002 in a crypto/BTC pair. For clarification, I use stable pair over BTC pair and it is a whole lot risky to trade crypto/BTC pair in a downtrend market condition.
