Bitcoin was created to be deflationary, so any increase in the inflation rate of fiat should naturally make people adopt Bitcoin more. If it's not happening according to the design of bitcoin we might as well believe the Feds news didn't have an effect on bitcoin whatsoever.

Bitcoin is never dead and far from it. Like CZ said "every bitcoin is dead headline is a buying opportunity". This is a vary rare opportunity to buy bitcoin given we may never be able to buy it this cheap EVER AGAIN!!!!

This is still a very cheap price to buy BTC compared to its ATH. BTC has got all the potential to double or even triple your investment in few months. Unless you're looking for a short-term profit.

You've just answered your own question. If it's going down along with the price of bitcoin doesn't that shows that it can't serve the purpose for which it was created for.

I suggest you go over the answer provided by OP above. The creator of iBTC doesn't have the power to control the price of BTC to go inversely to the price of his own coin and neither does he have the power to control the price of iBTC to move against BTC.

These two coins are traded on exchanges and the market decide their price not some pre-conceived speculation. The only reason you're confused is you're taking the words of the creator of iBTC for it. You're better off ignoring those speculations.

The content of this post has been flying around lately due to the current market condition. There's no need to keep advising people over and over again on their investment.

By now, we ought to know that the strong hands who believes bitcoin is the best investment to put their money into will continue to hold long term because the past history of bitcoin has shown that bull run will come again but the weak hands, no matter how many times you advise them, will continue to sell their fortune to strong hands for ridiculously cheap price.

No one can accurately predict the bottom for bitcoin. Best believe in your own research and ignore experts opinions or YouTubers. Best approach to take is to DCA your investing by buying at strategic lows where your analysis shows probably a bounce, then you won't have to worry about what the bottom will be.

People who missed out on holding bitcoin on its road to $68k are filling up their bags now to avoid a repeat of such occurrence and the current bear market has given a lot of investors to come in and own some amount of bitcoin at a very cheap price compared to what they missed out on. So yeah, as the bear market continues the rich (holders) will continue to get richer and the poor (paper hands) will continue to get poorer. It's simple logic.

My advice is to continue to buy as much bitcoin as you can afford albeit with money you can afford to lose. Not the kind of money that if when lost will crumble your day-to-day finance.
