Might seem a bit harsh but if all the private keys are available for the taking, and there is no secondary protection on them, then by all means take the coins and take it as an intended feature of the coin.
There is no secondary protection, and can be none without changing how Bitcoin works. You can encrypt your bitcoin-qt wallet, but that just means your private key is stored encrypted on your hard drive. It doesn't change the fact that your private key is waiting on one of the zillions (for want of a better word) of pages on directory.io and buttcoins.com. The "only" protection you have is that there are SO many pages on those sites that it's impossible to search even a billionth of them even if we all worked together until the sun went out. This makes me think that "cloud wiping" will be just as disappointing as all these "cloud mining" operations. Yes the amount of addresses is beyond the reach of anything we can throw at it at this current moment. Or at least it feels that way. As for the security and the possibility of finding a random key with coins. By all means and purposes its a part of the coin and an intended feature till it is changed, all a part of the "lottery" called crypto currency. You mean "turd burgling" right ? I have a feeling it will be like playing a lottery, only odds are against you by many many more orders of magnitude than on a lottery. A fun experiment non the less! |

Thats a lot of addresses to check  I narrowed it down to 100 pages from some stupidly massive number. And it's still too much work. I don't know if I mentioned that it's a Bitcoin address, but it is. So that cuts the work by another factor of 4. Narrowing it down to BTC only makes the task much simpler indeed! This also shows how many addresses there are because going even through 100 pages is a rather taunting task. Especially when done by hand |

Stealing/use your name? Not sure what you mean... the url "Buttcoins.com" I bought it... You don't own the word Buttcoins. We have tons of Buttcoins minted in the JD chat.
I've used the word Buttcoin is some form of another since June 2011. I don't have a claim to a pun or even the domain however, that's not my problem with the site. Your favicon... the only thing I grabbed from the reddit is the Giggly butt thing in the reserve post. The picture of the Buttcoins filling up from the butt pushing them out came out of JD. Our picture of a butt on the site is a different picture of a butt than you use too. We don't like the Skinny Butt route... that mofo needs some MEAT on it Feel free to use it!  I'm not sure you understand how copyright images work. You can't just claim you "found it" and therefore there's no claim to copyright. And I would agree with you if you weren't blatently taking the images from the site I own and the subreddit I created. You literally just did a google image search for "buttcoin", grabbed my images, ran them through mspaint a bit and claimed them as your own. If you had buttcoins.com with an original design then I would have no problems. But the fact that you have buttcoins.com AND are using my images is a problem. Using my images send the message that I have something to do with Buttcoins.com which I do not. Remove my images and there's no issue, continue to run your site as you see fit. You seem pretty up set over some Buttcoins rofl. Send a DMCA is all I can say and then maybe cry about it... that may make you feel better. Feel free to PM me or Call me. I don't want to piss anyone off with Buttcoins  You wana buy a spot  I think Buttcoins.org or ButtcoinFoundation.com would look great at the top for a few BTC I'm just upset with the theft of my work. No crying from me, just do what's right. In the reserve post I've added a reference to your site under the Image because that one was pulled from there I believe... I actually think I got it from reddit, but so be it there is your ref. As far as the favicon I'd rather not change it. I feel like that is the Symbol of Buttcoins much like how the B is the symbol for buttcoins. We have put our own twist in the Butt on the page, but the favicon icon is the general "Buttcoin Logo"... I think it should stay that way tbh. Edit: I will change the faviicon to if it helps you sleep at night  Always funny to make a Buttcoiner cry! I love the work done on HYPER so far things are looking so much better. Thread looks nice, websites awesome. Keep up the good work! Im still very curious how far is the HyperZanda project I really like that game and it would be nice if HYPER was introduced into the game. |

Its now February 10 (Rust blitzz reward day is 15) and the payment for January still hasn't come (was supposed to be Jan 15).
So i wanted to ask is the promotion still ongoing or was it cancelled ? I saw it still going on website and forums. I asked falc0n and he told me he has yet to receive an answer from CryptoFuture and this is why Rust people haven't been paid.
