941  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyFlop.eu | 1BTC Christmas Day Free Roll | EVERYONE is WELCOME! Merry XMASS on: December 26, 2015, 09:47:28 AM
I finished in the top 5 received 0.055 BTC I also request for a withdrawal but pending. How long the withdrawal process ?
BTW thank you LuckyFlop for free roll  Grin

Congraz on the win! I wanted to play in the freeroll also but couldn't get myself free to take part unfortunately. I have played in a few of the previous ones and they have always been really good. That was a lot of players tho, how long did the game last overall ? Must have been a long one lol.

Someone keeps posting their sell order into the book from time to time (roughly 60+mil i think) making the 1 sat wall over 1.2BTC. It is not the biggest wall but still it increases the amount required to 2 a lot. I have some PND that i am holding but it is really hard to see it going above 1 sat on the sell wall, at least not before we get to the "new coin" swap.
943  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Best Christmas Casino Promos/Bonuses... on: December 26, 2015, 09:36:55 AM
There have been a few bonuses that are really cool. What i would like is if someone would make a website/blog or what ever is the best that features all the bonuses and promotions. It doesn't just need to be about Christmas but other times also, it would be a lot of work but i am sure people would visit it.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Video game gambling on: December 26, 2015, 09:33:18 AM
Although there are no in-game gambling aspects in most games besides uncrating/uncasing, there are many third party gambling sites which are trustable. Here are some of them:

Team Fortress 2: Sweetstakes.tf, Saloon.tf, Backpack.tf/lotto

CS:GO: CSGOjackpot, CSGOdices, CSGOrage, CSGOfresh, CSGOlounge.

Those are just some of the top of my head.

I had no idea something like this existed lol! Thank you for pointing these out, ill give the dice a shot i think.
As for the OP's question, i do not think its possible to have something as you described without having the wager be between 2 teams or by people watching.
945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freerolls on: December 26, 2015, 09:26:28 AM
There have been a few already but unfortunately i missed them because i was away with the family or just busy but i hope i manage to enter a few before the year ends. I have had fun with the "betcoin" poker games and i think they have daily freerolls (usually around 40 people so pretty easy to win also)

Thanks to everyone who has given us some trust during the transition and after. We are going to push to really raise the bar, and are looking forward to building relationships with you, the community of both players and investors, going forward into the near year and beyond!

Congrats on the transition. Seems things have went smooth, though I'm sure there must have been a better date than Christmas Eve to change Smiley

Look forward to seeing MP in the new year

Oddly enough, the date worked out well for everyone (we're all available and were), giving it a solid time to knock out everything at once, :p. Tomorrow's a different story (I'll personally be available still, though mobile, so fairly sporadic) due to the holiday, but this was a great present for us and the community!

And thanks for your support, Smiley.

I think it was actually a pretty good time to do the transition because i believe most people were with their families and will be today also. This gave a pretty good window for it as not much traffic was lost.
Its nice to see "The Team" is now in charge of the site Smiley Good luck to you guys!

Hey there! Long time supporter here.  I made the videos. Put me in the drawing but I'm also going to give my vote to Ranlo for sure.

SO many nice folks on here deserving this unit.

Here's another vote for Ranlo.

Thanks, guys! Smiley. If I win, I'll also be doing a review of it here and on CryptoPlace to help gain more awareness (and will have its primary focus on HYPER, of course).

I would not mind having you being part or leading the development forward. I think you are reputed enough to be part of the team and have been around for a while also. So if it comes to it, my vote is for you as well.
Will be interesting to see what waits ahead, the coin has been around for a long time and has always been reliable. We cant throw that away.

lol someone just shook loose from the tree. They dropped 140k. probably couldn't take the quiet. lol

That is a lot of coin to drop. Either he wanted out since there hasn't been a lot of news lately or he is looking for a re-entry after causing the price to drop. If he went for the second option he will have a lot more coin soon Smiley
I hope 2016 Will be big, but who knows in the crypto world.
951  Economy / Gambling / Re: Asking the big rollers: Where do you get the money from? on: December 23, 2015, 07:31:48 PM
Im just asking those guys that are betting big amounts of money like this:

I should stop Sad
Down 19 BTC & that's just this month.
Oh well.

Im really curious to know how can you bet so much money, where did this money from? For me, I can only hope that I make 19 BTC in total after making BTC slowly and saving it all in maybe a year or so, but you are gambling it all in a single day. This is just crazy for me and I don't get it. I would like to know the history of the people here that have that much amount of money.

Theres so many possibilities. A decent job will easily allow you to buy some btc every month (depending on the country ofc). Some of them are traders and they get their coin from trading, or mining, or they are early adopters.
It is a lot of money, but not that much to be honest. (still a lot lol)

Find the Panda  Cheesy

This picture is so good! I'm not gona lie, it toke me a little before i found the panda but after i did it stuck out so much that it was impossible not to see it. Amazing how the mind can play tricks on us when we look at patterns, that panda gets filled by a snowman till you really start looking at it closely.
953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest problem with current Bitcoin poker sites? on: December 23, 2015, 09:37:18 AM
I think for most gambles Poker isn't fun to play online. Its generally best played in a casino with a cigar and a malt in the other hand. No fun playing with the mouse. If there was more demand, I am sure the graphics would be better.

This is one of the biggest issues. Can poker be played online ? Yes. Is it fun and as engaging as offline? No. This combined with the lack of players and the overall quality of the players really makes the online experience shit. It is also a lot easier to cheat online especially on Freerolls using VPS.
It can still be fun to time for a few games.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit MoonLander: A Modern and Efficient Scrypt USB Stick Miner! on: December 22, 2015, 10:36:41 PM
This looks like a really interesting project, especially for someone who does mining as a hobby. I need to see what happens once the first people get the miners and if all is good i will most likely buy some also. I might need some "noobie" help tho Tongue but as i sayd, the price is really good and i love that they are USB

956  Economy / Gambling / Re: What does provably fair exactly mean? on: December 22, 2015, 08:12:50 PM
Let's say a casino offers < 49.5 chances to win, in other words, you have 49.5% possibility to win and the house has 50.5%, how is this called, would this qualify has provably fair, or provably fair means you extrictly need to have better odds than the house? but if this was the case how would this be profitable for the casino owners?

Maybe it means 50/50? (same odds for casino owner to win than for the player)?

Please explain this to me as im just a casual gambler and im not familiar with such terms yet.

The short version:
Provably fair means that that you select the client seed and then you are provided a hash of the servers seed. Then you proceed to make bets. Once you are done you can change the seed and you will be given an unhashed version of the server seed. You can then check all your bets and see that you have not been cheated. The system works because all the bets have been predetermined and there is no way to change them.

What you are describing is HE aka House Edge. This is set in place so the house could stay in action and make profits (server costs, maintenance work and running costs + profit). If it was 50/50 the risk would be too big and the house would most likely bankrupt. (tho anything can happen)

@JackpotRacer

Please be advised that the transition is only happening now.  Ryan is entitled to his own opinion but does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the new moneypot team.

There are ZERO cases of the new moneypot team having preferential treatment.  Please refrain from public outburts that we have no control of.  For assistance and output going forward, please contact one of the members of the moneypot team and we'll gladly hear you out and listen to your requests and/or concerns.

please show me where I accused the new owner/team of anything? I just pointed out what the new team should not do in our opinion but the new owner can do whatever he wants. and we will not be afraid to give our feedback and opinion.

btw we will not contact any new team member in a private way because we think that every MP app owner and user should know what we have to say.

we are eager to see the start of the new MP

Why cant you leave it be already? You have been told the same thing over and over and over and you come coming back to it every single time. Just because he was the owner of the site it does not mean he cant have his favorite. It is HIS OPINION if HE likes it then he WILL recommend it. It is as simple as that. Just leave it already im sure the new team got the point you wanted to make about 7 pages back.

why don't you leave your comments? how many apps do you have on MP?

Why dont you? They have sayd over 10 times now that they understand what you are saying and they will figure out a way to make it fair for everyone. Now leave the subject alone and see what they come up with, after it is released you will get a chance to evaluate if it is fair, if not then come and discuss it further. Now let it be.

you did not answer my question.....how many apps do you have on MP?

I clearly said that we are eagerly waiting for the start. we are not alone who are waiting for the start. there are hundred of apps waiting

@ you and all
Merry Christmas  and may the best of last year be the worst of your new year

I do not own any apps in MP i only play there, im a regular customer who enjoys playing some of the apps there. It is besides the point if i am an app owner or not.
If you want to discuss it further send me a PM, no need to pollute this thread so much. It is just an announcement thread and that is it.

I hope it is nothing serious and that you will be well soon. Pretty unfortunate timing for you, first so many bad things with the IEC and now followed by personal issues. On the other hand they are out of the way now and if all goes well maybe we can start 2016 fresh Smiley
It is holiday season after all.

I wish you a swift recovery.
