1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 20, 2015, 12:43:07 PM
It is really tough to make a new profitable gambling game nowadays. If you start a normal bitcoin casino app then you will need to have a huge marketing budget in order to grab some market share and to make profits.

Indeed. Making profits seems extremely difficult right now for several reasons. The main issue is that the userbase is extremely limited and small. Most of the players are the same, no matter what site you look at. And 95% of the players bring very little to the "house" so in order to profit house needs to "get lucky" with the 5%. But this means you first need to make sure those 5% make their way to your site

I love everyone, but I don't understand trolls...
Are they just wh*reattention or what?
the real trolls are very intelligent and way to cool people.
i like trolls since i like drama ...

im sad that stunna got so greedy. God bless the man. May he recover from his blindness and sickness. Praying for you Stunna, heal soon.
blindness of support e-mails ? sickness ..oh that is edward for sure.
Almost 100% of support requests in the last week or two have been resolved in 8-12 hours or less, thanks to MICRO. Smiley

Yeah 8-12 hours is only 9% of the time.
50% of the time tickets get answered in <1 hour.
And 41% 1-8 hours.

Average 2.7 hours .

Some of the dice review sites should soon update theirs ratings of Primedice support Smiley

Thats really nice to hear as it was the biggest issue with PD so far. A very welcomed improvement
Looks like i need to visit PD again soon Cheesy

Was there supposed to be an event in November also ? I remember hearing something about it a while back. Might have been a harvest or a meeting of some kind ? Would be nice if anyone with some knowledge sheds some light on this
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ***Public Warning Message*** Do Not Trust MrPump on: October 20, 2015, 12:13:19 PM
Lets be honest here for a moment. If someone really is stupid enough to fall for an obvious scam such as the pump groups advertised here then they do deserve to learn the lesson the hard way.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: October 20, 2015, 12:11:14 PM

This is a very bad idea to change the initial distribution rules now. If you change it once, people would think you can change it again anytime you like. You won't be able to keep any loyal holders and this will kill a trusted coin forever.

I agree with him. Let's focus on the developpment. Yes price is going low. But it will just increase the possibility for new users to buy clams. That's not so bad. You can't change the rules just because one man is digging a lot. That's part of what clams distribution was.

You better try to focus on developping the clams environment, which is quite poor in my opinion.

Agreed. The possibility of this happening was very well known from the start as exchanges, gambling sites, whales etc all had a lot of wallets. The fact that someone is digging and selling them is up to them.

And i agree on the developing part, the coin needs more adoption as right it only seems to JD that keeps it going.
1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pure Dice | Number ONE Bitcoin and 1Coin dice rolling game | 100 Satoshi Faucet on: October 20, 2015, 11:59:04 AM
Good afternoon everyone,

https://puredice.com/ is back online again. due to some legal issues I had to relocate the frontend offshore and that needed some modification to the code.

faucet:

100 satoshi and 1 ONE every 5 minutes.

Happy rolling!

"The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."

This looks like a really nice way of coming back.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ ON CNBC ~ Twitch.tv ~ ShapeShift.io ~RPG + More! on: October 19, 2015, 05:15:33 PM
I ve just started using Hyper. Do I need to keep my wallet open all the time or can I open it for staking once a week for example?

Is there any difference between these two options?

You'll get the same 5% from staking after a week, because it takes into account how old your coins are, the longer they haven't staked, the more you'll get the next time you do.

But it's best to stake all the time, because you can stake on coins you've staked too. But it may not be that big of a difference because it depends on how many coins you have, and how much you're staking from them.

I dont think the difference is that big. It should be ok even if you open the wallet once or twice a week.

P.S On another note seems to be a good idea to buy some more HYPER Smiley
1268  Other / Meta / Re: Why bitcointalk.org Looks so Bad on: October 19, 2015, 04:02:05 PM
Lmao. I don't think there's any reason to change it. Design is simple, sure but that's what I like about it. No need for fancy stuff when this works just fine.

Agreed. I don't see any need to change the design of the forum, its fine the way it is. Design is simple as it should be, no need to "overtune" anything. If they do decide to make a new design i hope the core concept stays the same: Few colors and easily distinguishable sub menus etc.
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most you won on any scratchcard on: October 19, 2015, 03:29:06 PM
I dont usually buy scratchcards because i never win with them. I usually get a few for my birthday but no luck so far lol
Biggest win would be around 5 Eur so around the buy price

0.005 seems a rather big for a new website especially as there is no way to guarantee the site doesn't just disappear with the coins. Also the 24h round time seems really long but all said, good luck with the site.
1271  Economy / Services / Re: wiu.co - Shorten your links and earn USD or convert it to BTC! [BETA] on: October 19, 2015, 10:06:30 AM
I just saw that you do not have a Ad network yet. It is really hard to find a ad network or advertiser who would pay the amount you have on the website. If you manage to get to a few $/k for Tier 1 you would be lucky.

For testing the traffic you can start your own campaign. Try a CPA campaign or run a referral system while you have no ads. This can help you start testing the traffic before you ask to join a network or look for advertisers as they want to see proof of quality first.

What country has the 10$ per 1000 that you state on the site ? I have a feeling that this rate will not last or it turns out to be a scam as most of them do
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ ON CNBC ~ Twitch.tv ~ ShapeShift.io ~RPG + More! on: October 19, 2015, 09:39:01 AM
We need more games (especially mainstream ones) to integrate Hyper into their system. With this, Hyper would grow (from serious gamers) and would help crypto to become mainstream as well. If Hyper could achieve more marketing/advertising, I'm pretty sure it would get adopted by mainstream gaming companies such as Ubisoft, Activision and more. Also, this would make price and demand go to the moon! Just my opinion  Grin

i agree on this, we need something like starcraft 2 or other rts, i love them and i want to earn while playing

Starcraft 2 would be fun and maybe Dota 2. Maybe a tournament of some kind could be good, could be shown on Twitch
If there aren't enough teams maybe something like 1v1 mid for Dota

I really liked Agar.io and now i have been playing some on chopcoin and im liking it. The bad thing is that it needs more players and it feels a bit slow
