idk something like this could easily be rigged

We understand your concerns and its just like the real stock market it can easily be rigged with inside trading, big firms/banks forcing stocks into a certain direction.

We are working on more ways to bring more confidence to our users.

The fee for every trade will be 0.2% and the fee to withdraw is 0.002 Bitcoins. Reason the fee is 0.002 Bitcoins is there are 2 sets of transactions that take place. Once of them is from your first deposit to the cold storage wallet. The second is from the cold storage to your personal wallet when you want to withdraw. Apart from that there are no hidden fees.

Did you mean "0.0002 btc", as the standard bitcoin tx fee is 0.0001 btc per KB?

But as I mentioned, the standard tx fee is 0.0001 btc per KB, which makes the total tx fee 0.0002 (which is 10% of your 0.002).

oh sorry you are correct. Will change that asap

What is Major Trading League?
Major Trading League Trading is a bitcoin stock market trading game where users can trade imaginary stock.

What makes Major Trading League Unique?
Major Trading League has no BIG investors such as banks, hedge funds or private equity firms. These three major entities have a big say in the stock market we know today and can often influence the direction in which a stock moves. This is really unfair for the smaller guys (us). Major Trading League has limited the amount of shares one person can buy. The reason we have done this is to make it a fair playing field for all users.

How do the stocks move up and down?
The users have 100% control of the stocks. When a user buys a stock the stock will go up. When a user sells a stock the stock will go down. Other features we have that may influence a direction a stock moves is a chat room where users can talk amongst themselves just like a rumor(just like real life). Another feature that will influence a direction a stock moves is the news page we have. When we post news reports we will also be adding funds to the chosen stock as well as deducting funda from a chosen stock(the buy and sell feature). The fund used will be generated from the 0.2% fee we charge for every trade.

What is the spread and fees?
The spread on all stocks is ZERO!!!. There are only 2 fees, the fee we have for every trade and the withdrawal fee.
The fee for every trade will be 0.2% and the fee to withdraw is 0.0002 Bitcoins. Reason the fee is 0.0002 Bitcoins is there are 2 sets of transactions that take place. Once of them is from your first deposit to the cold storage wallet. The second is from the cold storage to your personal wallet when you want to withdraw. Apart from that there are no hidden fees.

How long to deposits take?
Deposits are completed after 4 confirmations.

What is the house edge?
The house edge is 0.2% (which is classed as our fee)

How does your rewards/referral system work?
There are 2 types of rewards systems.
One of the rewards systems is based on your total trade count. The more you trade the more you earn. There are milestones to reach and when you reach them you will earn a reward which will always be bitcoins.
The other rewards system is based on your trade volume. Again the more you trade the more you earn. There are also milestones to reach and when you reach them you will earn a reward which will be bitcoins.
The referral system works as so:

  • You will be given a url/code to refer users with
  • When that user registers they will receive 0.002 bitcoins to trade with
  • The users trade count and trade volume is added to your trade volume to help you reach the milestones
  • Also when a user trades you will receive an additional 0.0000001 bitcoins

The great milestones are the billionaire milestone and trillionaire milestone. The billionaire milestone requires 1 billion trades which can be earned from your trades and the users you have referred. The reward for this milestone is 10 bitcoins. The trillion milestone requires you to have a trade volume of 1 trillion bitcoins which again can be earned from your trade volume and the users you have referred. The reward for this milestone is 100 bitcoins. You may think these milestones are outrageous right? Wrong there are many more milestones but these 2 are the most prestigious of them all.

Example of trade volume: You open 1 trade costing you 1 bitcoin. You open and close that same trade 20 times in a week your trade volume will add up to 20 bitcoins. Now imagine you have referred 100 members and they are trading the same trade volume per week. You will be averaging a total trade volume of 20,000 bitcoins as well as 2,000 trades added to your trade count and 0.0000001 bitcoins for every trade opened. Now the milestone seems more realistic right.

In theory you can earn bitcoins from just referring users.

Unique Features

  • Take profit & Stop Losses
  • Chat room
  • Rewards system
  • Leader boards
  • Referral system
  • Simple user interface
  • View recent trades from a chosen stock
  • Site stats

More features coming soon.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does one safely deposit large USD amounts ($50k-$100k) after selling BTC? on: July 06, 2014, 11:59:38 PM
Hi, honestly your better off keeping it cash because you will get taxed and even your bank account frozen cause your bank may try to pull a fast one  and start making accusations like 'how do we know this money wasnt made illegally' etc. you dont want the hassle buddy.

If you want to buy items and the only way to do it is via card or bank trf then you deposit the cash into your account and pay for it straight away.

A really illegal solution is to launder it and pay the minimal tax you can.

Dont worry in a few years time youll be making all your transactions out of your wallet and your kids will be asking you questions like 'What was it like having to deal with CASH and BANKS' like your a really old guy lol.

This game looks like it had a lot of potential. What would be great is new out of the world features. Something that will make me want to come back.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 18, 2014, 04:35:15 PM
Interesting concept. I guess there are no dividends or random news events then like in virtual stock games I've played in the past... subscribed to this thread... I'll beta test for sure!

There are random new events this will be when we pump coins into a random company..
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 18, 2014, 04:26:49 PM
I don't understand how the price of the companies in the game would be determined (unless you actually track real companies?)

I've played similar games based on actual companies with ''imaginary BTC''

The companies will not be real companies.. just instruments for users to trade on. if i was to include real stocks then it wouldnt be a game anymore.
so far the only feature is the chat rooms.. more feautres will be added and also when we have generated some funds from fees we will openup a news room section with rumors etc of where we might pumps our fund into etc..
OK so there will be a section with information about the fake companies etc? Could be useful to hire a copy writer to build up extensive databases (not huge but at least 4 or 5 different pages on each company)... I guess the price changes will be manually done by admin ?

No thats the plus side to it. The admin can't control the price. The only way is when we pump our own funds into a selected company.. Apart from the the only thing moving the price is you guys

I hope for the sake of your health you dont use the same strategy you come up with ideas for going to the bathroom.....Make sure you wait until they are fully formed before depositing in the future.

Nice to see you've just created an account a few hours ago just to insult people. (Y)(Y)

14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 17, 2014, 12:11:43 AM
market orders trading through limit orders is one thing; arbitrary price setting based on rumors is another.
please read the thread.. rumors is only one element.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 16, 2014, 07:28:12 PM
I'm sorry, but still I didn't get your new game idea, could please elaborate more.

Are you familiar with stock trading or forex trading?? Basically the stock market and how it works. its the same concept just editing out all the big guy who have a lot of money to make the market move where ever they want.

So your basically turning trading into a casino game with house edge. Does that not in turn, turn you into the 'big guy who have a lot of money" ? Instead of pricing moving on its own accord, you want to arbitrarily set price based on 'rumors' ?

Yea sounds fair  Roll Eyes

If you put it like that then trading the stock market is a casino in your eyes, and the brokers are the casino with a house edge which is their fees.. Then yes this is a casino Huh Huh Huh

Also to add to your comment (" Instead of pricing moving on its own accord, you want to arbitrarily set price based on 'rumors' ? ") This is pretty much how the stock market works along with fundamentals being news(rumors) or reports such as earnings reports.

Our earnings reports for this game will be our gained funds being pumped into the system to help volatility.

We are playing that game already on BTC-e chat box while trading our coins.

Please correct me if im wrong.
