Thats exactly it Cryptonit. Truth is , this does need to be discussed, as its a serious concern. That virus was VERY real as I watch is disable my antikeylogger every time I launched it, when no other wallets behaved this way. Woody has the same anti keylogger and whitnessed the same thing. Anyway here is the results of the binary that Griffith gave me, and the results of the binary that Limex dev compiled from the exact same source. The hash is different.

The binary given to me by Griffith

The binary given to me by Limex dev, compiled from Griffiths source code.

Frankly Im sick to my stomach and heading to bed.

Take care Vegas..

Fingers crossed this is all a big misunderstanding..  Undecided

@vegas - I did a time consuming scan of all of my drives last night with Avast and Malwarebytes.  Nothing turned up fishy in my Flycoin folder.  With that said - I never downloaded wallet 2_4_3.  My last wallet download was 2_4_2.

the wallet in question is 2.4.1

click on the file details tab:  5 sections down will be a field that says file version

It was also in 2.4.3 in the binary you gave to me to distribute. 1st I hope this is a misunderstanding. But it does need to be explained. You gave us 2.4.3. It had the coin stealer virus, then Limexdev recompiled 2.4.3 from your source again, and it was clean. Also this was no false positive as whitnessed by woody and I, when the flywallet launches, it actually disabled our antikeylogger. It was the only wallet with this kind of behavior. How is this possible?

Well this seems a nice coin but i have only found a one faucet of this coin on thecryptochat.net where other coins are listed too, unfortunately I am continue trying to use the yobit address but wallet is on maintenance there.

You can also buy on bleutrade, they are actually cheaper there.

Just strange how the binary from dev#1 had a coinstealer, then dev #2 compiles a windows binary from same exact source and does NOT have a coinstealer virus. I can only come to one conclusion. Im trying to find other possibilities, but I cant.  Frankly Im sick to my stomach and heading to bed.

 Cool

Kilko this is the issue that will be addressed soon. I dont want to accuse anyone of anything. I need to get the facts. Once I have more information, I will post it.

Vegas

Not accusing anyone of anything, odds are high it is merely a false positive , which is why all you have to do is directly submit it to the antivirus vendors and they will remove the flags within a day or so. That is what the 2 bottom links in my post are for.  Wink

 Cool

Ill simply say we got 2 different results. We were given a windows binary of fly wallet V2.4.3 that contained a "coinstealer" trojan according to virus total, then a different dev compiled a windows binary from the exact same source (untouched), and it did NOT have the coinstealer virus when scanned with virus total. So, everyone can draw their conclusions from that. The response from the person that gave us the binary with the coinstealer should be VERY VERY interesting, as I can only come up with one logical explanation. Everything Ive just said was witnessed by myself, Metamorphin, Woody, and Limexdev.

Some of team fly were concerned this may hurt the trust of fly. My policy is to protect the users and be straight, even if the truth might be ugly. So, it was my duty to warn everyone. I sat for over an hour an PMed over 50 users and warned them. I will continue to protect the users of fly. Always have, always will. I just didnt think I would have to scan the binaries of fly <sigh>. At the end of the day, I did the right thing and protected the users, and thats what matters. I believe there is no one that cares more about their users in crypto than me.

A binary was given to us that contained a coinstealer trojan. Limex dev recompiled from the source and a clean version is posted below. It has the typical "bitcoin miner" they all have. Thats normal.

Here is the clean copy of V2.4.3 that only has the typical bitcoinminer: www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/FlyCoin-qt.exe

I am still trying to work out the difference between all these different crypto currencies, but wouldn't it help your coin if you had your own website forum, in addition to the forum here because once again all the competition here.

thanks for the help,
Rick

Xde2 stands out from the crowd. It makes things easier to answer questions in 1 place.

Also , its against bitcoin talk rules to post your address. Please edit your post and remove it.

Thanks

Hi vegasguy, saw the postings in yobit and have a question. Since I have an xdeII wallet on yobit, why would I need an xdeII wallet on my computer. I have had other crypto coin wallets on my computer and haven't had good success with most of them (more technical issues than worth of the actual cryptos earned or housed). Also, why the different kinds of wallets?

thanks,
Rick

All great questions , Rick. First welcome.

Q: Why would I need an xdeII wallet on my computer?

A:You earn interest every 24 hours, you must "unlock wallet for staking). Ill post an example below. Also NEVER keep coins on any exchange, they can close in a millisecond. Its happend many times. Crypty,Mtgox are some.

Q: Also, why the different kinds of wallets?
A: The special wallets serve so many purposes. The main purpose is to reward the community members with coins from the community wallet for promotions. If additional dev work is needed, it helps pay for that.  The wallets can also be given to members that are the strongest promoters. They can also be bought for a very small price. They increase your interest rate.

Also there are no technical issues. The wallet is flawless 100%. Always has been. Next month will be our 1 year anniversary Smiley

Thank you for joining us. Glad to answer any more questions you have.

$3 a coin!!

Guys with all of your hard work promoting more and more people are getting into XDE2. They see that the community is growing and there is massive trust. Myself, a ledgendary member with 4000 posts, and my team are all hero members and highly trusted. XDE2 is now $3 a coin. Please when you list, list 1 sat less than the highest sell, this will keep it at $3 a coin. When everyone is rewarded their coins every week, wouldnt you rather them be worth $3 or .50 usd a coin?? YOU choose the price. New people are buying at this price, because they know its a strong coin. XDE2 will be around for YEARS, so take your time, and slowly sell off your coins a couple a week, if we can do this, in a few weeks I might raise it to 3-4 a week. Lets all keep prices high!!

Ive spoken with Yobit, and the last word a few days ago soon. I was actually asking them to reactivate XDE2, and FLY. They DID reactivate xde2, and said Fly would be reactived soon. Bluetrade is working fine. We are looking into the code to see what is triggering these false positives.
