http://moneropool.mooo.com/ is now updated to the new pool code.

If you are looking to move from the pool that currently has two thirds of the network hash rate, you're welcome to join.

It is the lower one. The higher one is calculated using the wrong block time as far as I know.

http://duckpool.mooo.com coincidentally has the right one if you feel like mining Tongue

(not that the mistake makes a difference otherwise than informative)

chinese pool.
who can help us to fix the nethash~thanks~

Divide it by 4 if you started from a Monero base (a block every 4 minutes for duckNote, every 1 minute for Monero).

Pools have ruined most coins like it or not especially multi-pools. Go back a few years that'll do me Grin

How so ? Being a newcomer, I thought pools were about decreasing the variance...

Can you explain this to me. Why is the unlocked balance lower after sending some coins? The total unlocked amount was at full prior to sending some coins, but after sending them some portion gets locked again. Huh?

You sent some coins, the total of which were high enough to be at least what you wanted to send, and the remainder is sent back to you as change. It will unlock again soon.

You can't get more decentralized than http://moneropool.mooo.com/ which has a single miner at the moment, down from two an hour ago Cheesy

Feel free to join, the pool's first block needs finding Smiley

And you must be in the right directory where minerd is installed before you try to run it.

http://moneropool.mooo.com can also be added - small pool so probably not worth DDOSing Cheesy .

Not sure it's the same from the daemon, but with minerd, it will submit any work when it reconnects (took me a while to realize, and that disconnects were not actually wasting the work). So I'd think if it doesn't error out, it's working.

To whoever is apparently trying to connect a miner to the Lucky Ducky via 8080, this port is the website, not the mining port.

Stratum ports are 6666, 8888, and (for old protocol) 2222, eg:

minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://duckpool.mooo.com:6666 -u address -p x

Thank you Smiley

That'd be about 60 times 4 minutes, so 4 hours on average.

Every Pool other than Extremepool.org and Minergate are reporting the network hash rate incorrectly.  FYI

Oooh, I'd forgot that. I just fixed the Lucky Ducky at http://duckpool.mooo.com:8080/ thanks for the reminder.

And with my lone miner at 10-15 H/s, I've already found a block! Cheesy

Hi,

I've been mining for a couple weeks, and I've just set up a small pool given the current DDOS issues:

http://moneropool.mooo.com/
stratum+tcp://moneropool.mooo.com:5555
stratum+tcp://moneropool.mooo.com:7777

It's run on my home connection, and it's the first time so there may be teething issues, and it probably can't get too large, but it may help with the DDOS. We'll see how it goes.

Feel free to drop by Smiley
