422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current market conditions are scary on: March 25, 2015, 05:35:25 PM
it could just be the calm before the storm, the problem is that everyone still compare current situation to the 1200 peak, that peak was just pure manipulation(willy bot ecc...) and a bit of luck

right now the price is low, because there are only whales playing with the market, no new money influx...

No one compares the price to the 1200 mark, everyone mostly compares to the 2014 stable price of 600 , and the drop which has happened since then.

I am rather surprised that after all the new merchant adoption and the increased popularity of bitcoin, the price has been falling.
423  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buy a small power plant to just mine? on: March 25, 2015, 05:33:07 PM
Would buying a small power plant be very profitable just to mine for bitcoin?

You will need to provide many more details. From the sound of it, it appears that you are asking a mining operation at large, for that the answer is no. There is also the halving which is predicted to come next year, and will cause you to be on loss too
424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler's fallacy, does it exist? on: March 25, 2015, 04:59:37 PM
Well Gambler's Fallacy is derived from the law of large numbers. Of course if you flip a coin 10,000 times with all heads, the next flip is still a 50/50 but the odds of that happening are really low.

That would be the chances of getting 10.000 heads in a row if im not mistaken

That is definitely not right. The odds of getting 10 heads in a row is 0.09% . And not the figure you have posted.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see the bottom? on: March 25, 2015, 04:56:16 PM
http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/25/bitcoin-price-continues-to-decline-where-will-it-stop/

I need some experts analyst here.
Right now, bitcoin sits at $246.

Will this continue? If yes, at what level will it stop?

Its impossible to predict the bottom, as any large holder could dump anytime. But I doubt we would go below 200 in the following months.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2015 The Year? on: March 25, 2015, 04:54:11 PM
Just because merchants are starting to accept bitcoin doesn't mean the price will go up or the bitcoin adoption will increase.

This year is a year of venture capital money flowing in like crazy, just look at the facts. There are graphs that show this. 2015 is the year with the biggest pump in VC money so far.
Actual BTC price will be stable. This is the last year for us peasants to get as much BTC as possible while its affordable to buy entire units of BTC.

I think the same was sort of true in 2014 but did not lead to the rise in the price of bitcoin then. I would hope for a stable price than a pump.
427  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: January 04, 2015, 11:32:30 PM
Okay this is how its gonna work.

You guys can keep sitting accusing me and making false assumptions or you guys take a risk and loan me. Heck, if it means 10 people loan me 0.002 each, that's fine.

Theres nothing more I can say

You would get that lone if you had something to offer as collatreal.

Offering my account... Nothing more to offer sadly Sad

429  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: January 04, 2015, 05:11:27 PM
No, I can repay the loan 3 days AFTER I get the loan, because my friend wwill only give me the money 3 days after I get the loan since hhe's holding onto my money.

Thanks
430  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: January 04, 2015, 04:50:34 PM
you were asking for the loan three days ago so technically you should not need it anymore

What? I still need the loan, and I can repay it in 3 days...
431  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: January 04, 2015, 04:13:12 PM
It implies that you are going to receive Bitcoin in the near future and a way to repay your loan

I am receiving 0.1BTC from one of my friends that owes me, on January 4th, Sunday. And I can repay 0.025 to the guy, if he loans.

It is too risky... and with trust of yours, I dont think, it is possible to get a loan without some kind of valid collateral...

I guess the person providing me this loan will have to take the risk. Everything in life is a risk. Every decision.

I can assure you that I'll return in 3 days, with the interest promised.
432  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: January 04, 2015, 03:32:07 PM
I have taken a loan previously and returned...

where?

With enryk, on one of my previous threads which can be found in the lending section.

Oh, the one for 0.006 BTC.

Impressive.
This sounds somewhat like a confidence loan to me. Trying to buy trust (or in this case, trying to buy trust removed Wink )

Uhm. No just pointing it out so others can see that I will return and im a man of my word.

Thanks

Up.

Still need this loan,

Thanks!

If you can provide your forum acccount as collateral  ( but firstly try to "remove" the negative trust) maybe I can help you.

I've tried, sir.

And granted, if you provide the loan to me I will repay after 3 days.

Thanks

i don't think anyone will lend money for an account with negative rep as a collateral
you should offer something different as a collateral

I have nothing else to offer...
439  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.02 Loan - Short Term on: December 31, 2014, 05:56:16 PM
"I just like luckybit."  ok.  Roll Eyes

I've emailed Tomatocage, to see if he can remove the negative rep.
If you still want to loan, I'd be more than happy to provide my account to an escrow, and after 3 days when the loan is repaid fully, I'll reclaim my account again.

Thank you.
