221  Economy / Gambling / Re: girlbtc.com™ || onevsone || elephant v.s. tiger v.s. mouse || check your luck on: June 22, 2015, 11:28:06 AM
The problem is that say If I start a challenge today , then my bet gets stuck with you. Many players don't think about betting against themselves so they basically lose that btc to the site and in the future if they forget, then it will be a loss for them.

ok, no problem.

the solution is like following:
if you opened a big onevsone game (more than 0.1btc) and after some hours there is no challenger  ,you want to cancel it .

you challenge yourself to cancel it.   so there is a fee charged 0.1btc*1%=0.001btc.

Reply this thread  or comment on http://girlbtc.com/comment/  with your  onevsone id,

and I will check and give your fee back to your girlbtc account. Smiley

Ok but instead why not just implement this feature within the site itself so its convenient for people to just cancel it , instead of sending a PM to you to have it cancelled or fee refunded.

I am also interested. Would suggst take another photo with username at the back of a card near it. And what country will you ship this from ?
224  Economy / Gambling / Re: girlbtc.com™ || onevsone || elephant v.s. tiger v.s. mouse || check your luck on: June 21, 2015, 07:37:12 PM
In all seriousness, abandon this project. Seriously. Its just a money pit for you financially and will get woese and I assure you, no one takes your site seriously. Its laughable. From the high fees, to basic games already created years ago, to the inability to cancel, etc. No one wants to play here.
I agree with this. It isn't attractive in the first place. I would rather use the same odds and play on Dice or other game. Since it can't be cancelled, it is just blocking out money, and if everyone thinks to wait for other people to bet, you will see no new bets on the site.  Also  why do you charge 0.001 for withdrawal fees when its not what you pay ?
225  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999Dice.com - Just Launched - 0.1% house edge, faucet & earn BTC on: June 21, 2015, 07:34:01 PM
FruitsBasket he is referring to the negative trust he left you.

In other news, glad to see that the site is back up and it was not a "run away with the coins" type situation.

Good Luck!

Why are people still playing on the site after all the scam accusations against them manipulating seeds and not using a provably fair algorithm for it ?
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robbed of BTC at gunpoint -- a real concern? on: June 21, 2015, 07:30:44 PM
keep safe Bitcoiners
1) Pick a reputable seller near you.
2) Arrange to meet them in a public place.
Instead just use the escrow feature of local bitcoins for safeguarding the btc and release it only after you get the funds in a face to face deal. This way they can't steal more bitcoins from you than the trade amount.
227  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin startup taxation on: June 21, 2015, 07:28:18 PM
How does the government track all those taxes or earnings if they are all in bitcoin ? Seems it would be hard for them to do that, and I don't expect them to chase someone down if they are earning in bitcoins.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Use In Philippines on: June 21, 2015, 07:23:01 PM
School tuitions in some universities can be paid by bitcoin now here in Philipines. I don't know if it's already implemented a long time ago. Just saw it while browsing in my online wallet provider.

woow that was awesome i imagine that i could paid my school tutions with bitcoin to,by the way i was curious about the unevrsity which you said maybe if you find the link please share here and let us know thanks Cheesy

Its one of the services that coins.ph have. If you have a wallet there you can see all of their awesome services. As of now only few universities are in their list but it's a big step and hoping for more universities here will adapt that.

Seems Philipines will overtake any other country in bitcoin adoption. I am really impressed by how quickly they had adopted everything so fast, and are still doing so. We need to have more countries and specially Greece to do it.
229  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any poker freerolls now? on: June 21, 2015, 12:28:39 AM
Yeah man, I am like you, I have been looking for good freerolls, but they are all away, can't play a good tournament without paying  Undecided

There are freerolls everywhere you look -- but the prize pools are terrible. Cheesy

Back in the day, I used to waste time grinding freerolls to try to get a tiny bankroll together. Better off just putting like $20-50 on the site and actually using proper bankroll management to make gains. Freerolls were such a waste of time for me.
None of the sites have good amount freerolls. Even pokerstars offers only 100$ for 20,000 people, paying out only 90 people, and that too starting with 3 cents, which is absurd. I find bitcoin freerolls to be better paying and less people play it. I saw Nitrogen still does freerolls everyday.
230  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-04] University Students Find Bitcoin Too Volatile To Use on: June 21, 2015, 12:25:55 AM
I remember there beeing an experiment at MIT by giving out 100 dollars worth of bitcoin to each student. Recently I read similar comments, saying that I have not 70$ of bitcoins left due to the volatility. So I am sure this is true , as a lot of them saw the bad side of it, and gave up on it.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robbed of BTC at gunpoint -- a real concern? on: June 21, 2015, 12:24:26 AM
Its not a real concern unless you are a trader or have openly advertised you use bitcoins everyday and have an app in your wallet. I don't see any thief going to a random stranger and saying give me your Bitcoins, it will only be towards people using it and making it public like traders.
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP UNDER 20!!Discussion!! on: June 20, 2015, 06:15:54 PM
So Serbia beat Brazil in the final wow. I didn't see that coming, does this mean that in the next 3-4 years there will be very talented Serbian players making transfers to the top European club teams for big money?
Very interesting, I don't know much about U20 football but naturally I'd expect Brazil to have better players due to their history, heritage, Brazil has an endless chain of world class players, always has so this makes the victory for Serbia even more surprising for me, well done Serbia!
Anybody here predict Serbia to win at the beginning of the tournament? I bet they were great odds.
Serbia is already known for very talented young players, you should know that most players are going to big clubs already, there was Savic and Nastasic that were bought by Manchester City,Matic was bought by Benfica then he went to Chelsea,Mitrovic is currently at 21 years and is currently valued more then 20mil and every premier league team is aiming for him

so serbia is already known about talented players, especialy when coming from teams like Partizan and others!

Serbia lost terribly against Czech republic today. They don't really have a very strong team since they also lost to other teams recently. 4-0 is too much for 2 equal tems.
233  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Anyone know a trustworth and stable HYIP investement site? on: June 20, 2015, 06:12:38 PM

That looks like a regular Ponzi scam. None of them are "stable" and almost none are trustworthy.
All ponzi operators claim their ponzis are not scams. So it is impossible to know what is a scam and what is not. Best to avoid new ones and stick to ones paying out.
234  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: new scam? on: June 20, 2015, 06:11:32 PM
I would never trust a HYIP that has to pay for whois protect or uses a free domain

It's not a hyip its a scam.

Most of the ponzis and hyips already hide that info, its hard to comment only on that as people hide their identities if they can.
235  Economy / Gambling / Re: girlbtc.com™ || onevsone || elephant v.s. tiger v.s. mouse || check your luck on: June 19, 2015, 05:54:16 PM
I tried the game few days back and started a bet. But no one challenged me. How do I cancel my game from that ? I don't see any option to cancel it.

you can challenge yourself and in this way to cancel it. Smiley
That seems unethical. It seems like saying give us fees we will cancel it. Even withdrawal fees too high. I wonder why you have bad traffic on site. It is not at all flexible.
236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best site for BTC to USD ? on: June 19, 2015, 09:36:17 AM
first where do you leave? for euro i can recommend therocktrading/kraken/coinimal

otherwise you can just use Circle, i will not go to bitstamp, for trading too much ID require even for tiny amount
It hardly matters where you live as majority of exchange sites support all countries. I would go with Circle.com as it has a good international presence and allows you to even purchase using a CC . Bitstamp is good for its new multisig wallet after the recent hack. So it will be atleast safer.
237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Questions and Discussions relating to Trading on: June 19, 2015, 09:34:36 AM
We can buy bitcoin option, call or put. We can easily go short or long for bitcoin.
Yes, but how do we do that and what does it mean to go short in bitcoin as unlike a stock its not possible to sell something we don't own.

My trading strategy really hasn't depended on the price of bitcoin on the large exchanges. If you are able to assemble several different accounts on different online wallets, this can be very profitable. A lot of ads advertise to buy BTC at 15-20% higher than market. From there, it is only a matter of choosing your transactions very carefully to avoid fraud.

Hope this helped.

regards

That is not relevant to the question .

239  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why are there so few players at web-based bitcoin poker websites? on: June 19, 2015, 09:14:37 AM
SWC had good traffic before they launched the new software. Most of the players are aware of it as Micon advertised in the WSOP events. But now they don't have online client so traffic is less. I am sure once they have online client we will have lots of new players back in the game.
240  Economy / Services / Re: AMAZON .COM Reductions buying in bitcoins. on: June 17, 2015, 05:43:11 PM
I'm taking some information about the escrow system , but if i understand ,i make the purchase and you release me the bitcoins when the pack is shipped from amazon ?
Yes but funds are generally released after the packet is received by the person whose order it is. Otherwise if its bought from carded card they might cancel it and cancel the shipping.
