1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 14, 2017, 06:21:00 PM
I would love to get some help mining.  I mined years ago but it seems I have no idea what I'm doing anymore.  I have tried every miner available and it seems I get the same error.  I've tried different pools but alas no luck.
ZEC: Stratum - Cannot connect to eu1-zcash.flypool.
ZEC: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec..

I am running windows 7 64 bit,  r9 390, Catalyst 15.12.  My batch file contains:

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal t1UKaEoMka8CghGrsehTKMXR72jZZMrpTKr.1 -zpsw x -i 8

I would appreciate any help.  I'm using the claymore miner v12.5 but I've gotten the same errors on other miners.  I'm probably missing something easy but thanks in advance.

Does this look healthy to you? Is this a common thing everybody sees?

happened to me the first time i even staked so i imagine its not supposed to do that

Yeah but see, we are all making here the history of Cinni with what we post. With being so pessimistic, complaining in public, and putting the suspicion on Rynomster ( and seriously, for having discussed with him several hours, i really dislike all the badmouth, i helped him with the mac wallet and talk to him several times ), the only thing you can do is to hurt the coin.

As we've seen repeatedly, and very recently, on a lot of fronts, what hurts a coin in the long run is false optimism built on a flimsy foundation. A hard-nosed assessment of reality, with transparency, is the most secure and enduring path to a real recovery.
I got tired of all the fake bs.  Weeks and weeks of it especially with the dev saying next to nothing and acting like a savant.  Transparency is key.

First what we need is a working wallet. Never happened to me before, but today, the wallet shows +- 20k more coins that i have. Fighting it half day now to recover my coins, unsuccessful for now. Explorer shows bullshit, wallet too, i cant send any amount from the wallet anywhere.. There is some serious bug... Sad Trying random backups now and i hope i didnt lost the coins.

So, got them back finally.. Smiley

The problem occurs when stake goes wrong and get stucked in transactions with 0 confirmations. Wallet restarting at this time repairs the problem, the transaction disappears after restart. But if you have another good stake right after this one stucked, it will not repair itself even with hundreds of restarts and it starts making nonsense transactions with 0 confirmations and it starts displaying bullshit in total balance. And finally it doesnt allow me to sent any amount even a little of 100 coins, it ends up with error of already spent coins, the coins are stucked in transactions with 0 confirms and youre fucked, because they got out of balance too.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjubbfk87gx9zkb/wallet_bad.jpg

Solution is pretty simple, but you must have a backup of your wallet.dat before this stucked transactions. Replace the wallet.dat with your backed up one and voila, balance is ok, stucked transactions are away and you can send coins again..

EDIT: forgot to say that redownloading the blockchain even -rescan didnt work

I didn't have that problem.  I had good stakes and would receive extra cinni after the stake was confirmed but yeah as I posted earlier you have to have your wallet backed up which makes the whole staking useless and this happened several times.

That's good news. I hope dev will answer soon.
maybe you could find him in the logo thread
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 26, 2014, 03:30:59 AM
lol bc now ten times the price of cinni...

hate to be a dick but i felt the need to point that out

I feel bad for all the people who bought cinni high, maybe buy a lot more now to lower your buy in average?
people bought in lower at 4-7k now its dead bro

it sucks because I love the wallet
the messaging is great
and i'd start a small business with the invoicing but I don't really think I know the dev well enough to even know how dependable this person is
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 24, 2014, 11:44:27 PM
thx for reply

but swish, do you really think i didnt try to simply restart wallet ?! lol
you re really funny

yea i deleted the blockchain and i redwl it
i have no choice Sad

is there a commande option like-salvagewallet for cinni wallet ?!
because transaction such isn't present. Probably the wallet didn't create it therefore it is necessary to restart a wallet simply.

Transaction ID: 312613ee05e461af2a43a363f16fe182cf9dad51aba617f525fcf302446b60f6
http://cinnichain.info/

Transaction Not Found

yea transaction not found    but 3k cinni are gone
that's the problem ...
So i'm a little crazy right now !

I had +-1100 CINNI missing after I had to restart my wallet, I tried restarting a few times and even using the blockchain.dat file provided by cinblo and using the resync command and still nothing has worked.

Since yesterday I started redownloading the blockchain and I am currently 65000 blocks away from a total resync. I will confirm if the total resync worked, if not then I will be selling before I give my final update and write off the loss in price and CINNI coins.

Alright redoing the blockchain did not help, so here is the strange part.

Wallet has balance of 9647.645446
Blockchain explorer is showing I have close to 14000 http://cinnichain.info/address/Jav1xpgfFtqrjLE99Lj5C75eHtLkVAMkRf
The real amount I should have is around 10708

So can anyone explain the issue?

Try send 100 CINNI to Mintpal and see if it refreshes the balance, if that does not work then wait for the next staking to occur and see what happens.

I tried sending funds to exchange and back, it did not have any effect on the wallet balance besides the 100 going in and out. I will wait for the next staking to occur and hold thumbs.

What a fucking disaster this has been for me. Even after a stake nothing has been corrected. Is xtrembash and I the only ones that have lost coins with the wallet?
I messaged the dev(and got no response) about for some reason receiving extra coins in my wallet after staking but then it auto-corrected itself.  However it happened again several days later.  This time it didn't correct itself.  Either way I figured my wallet was fucked up.  Fortunately I had saved my wallet several times and just had to roll back to a previous version before the last stake.  I didn't really know what to do until I actually decided to cash in my cinnicoin because I never got a response from him.  First, I tried sending my coins(a small amount) to an exchange and it said I had no coins.  At that point they were all gone from my wallet. So as I previously stated I had to roll back to an earlier wallet before the last staking and it worked out fine.  Hopefully you have backed it up plenty?

rynomaster didn't have family problems. he left cinni cuz he made his money off it already. lol you all got fooled.

His family is XC.

You are confusing Rynomster with Batbott...

Batbott, i'm not gonna defend.

looks like its time to head back to good ole bitcoin

Mindfox is free to help us.  I think Cinnicoin is developing a project now.

What do you think he is working on?  How did you come to this conclusion?  Do you have any contact with this person or did you make this up?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 24, 2014, 04:04:07 PM
devs sold all then quit, as always with copycat coins

False. Go spread your FUD somewhere else. Nobody is fooled by you.

Why has this coin crashed so hard?  Sorry I've been away for a couple of months.

The main reason is because of people spreading FUD, and claiming the coin is dead + dev is gone.
The second reason is because of how the crypto world works. We need news and update every other days, otherwise people want their Bitcoin out.

Can't you read or are you just blind? People talk with him via Inbox. He's working on stuff.

stfu, then make him write here...what is private message

plusi that message was 1 week ago dummy

Dev posted last night.  Grin

I don't see a post from CinniCoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=707843.msg7996524#msg7996524

He posted, but not on that thread that's why.

A new logo for a new start. Perhaps he's launching it at the same time as the centralized ANON he's working on. Grin

why can't he post here

Perhaps to avoid drama. Dunno.

that's entirely the way to create drama

Lol. Do you seriously think it would had help if he would had say 3 weeks ago something like, hey guys, batbott is on XC, and Rynomster is having personal issues and he isn't available anylonger. I don't know how to finish rynomster's anon work, sorry the whole plan isn't working anylonger.
I mean, he had no idea, perhaps he could have find someone else, perhaps Rynomster was available to come back etc. He discovered things like us.
Not sure it would had worth it to come here and get destroyed by all the angry people who lost their money etc.
I'm asking why cant he fucking post now, not three weeks ago.  He is posting in other forums.  Why can't he post here?

I haven't seen dev on irc.  I pm'd dev.  He ignored me.  He chooses not to talk on here and instead talks in the logo thread?  cool.  I didn't mind the price drop but I mind these antics.  Someone has a high ego or poor social skills

and it's been weeks since he has said anything

get out of this thread.
the cinni dev sincerely wants this coin to succeed, i have personally exchanged messages with him where he clearly stated that he did not want to give up on this coin and was going to continue working on things and that he felt bad that there were so many bagholders but wanted to make sure to get the price up so that people could (at the very least) exit cleanly without losing their shirts.

this is like 10000x better than most of these scamcoin devs

post the messages
whats "things" is he working on is the question we have been asking for, updates?
if he's felt bad why hasn't he posted here?
how is this better than a scamcoin dev?  what makes you think the dev is doing anything?
Even if he is doing something this is why certain types of people need to have someone do pr for them.

I'm not defending that other guy I'm just saying...

I don't know about the rest of you but I bought cinni for these reasons:
Algorithm: Proof of Stake
Total Coins: 15,000,000
Interest: 3.5% Annually
Block Time: 15 Seconds
Fair PoW Distribution
Min stake age: 3 days, Max age: 100 days

Those of you selling for just a few cents are bat s**t crazy Roll Eyes

you're crazy
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | First Coin With Private Encrypted Messaging | No premine on: July 22, 2014, 06:29:08 PM
I  don't know, I just left it importing and did another work, gone back around 2 hours and it was ok. So no more than 2 hours Smiley

Thanks it worked like a charm. Smiley

For some reason now that it's sync'd I am short +-1100 CINNI.

Try restarting the wallet. One of my wallets yesterday shows it has 99k coins after stake but there was only 89k. After restarting it a few times it self corrected.

restarting it a few times it will correct itself

As I said on IRC... Forget the push towards the "anonymous crap".  Focus on building out the encryption messaging suite.  And use those tools to target freelancers.  Freelancers want better ways to bill customers/clients and not have to deal with transaction fees and someone else controlling flow of funds.  There needs to be a focus on targeting freelancers and people who do billable work (invoicing).  Why follow the "crowd" when you can blaze your own trail with a carefully focused direction.

I'm waiting for this.  I could setup a nice little business.  I thought that's what the dev was working on.
