I'm on a mac but after installing this new version I still see the same version number v0.10.1.0-g07dfc4c. Same goes if I check in the console (get info). Please advise.

of course technically you are right but... come on... its a land grab and we all know it. the only "work" being recognized is from the privileged few who got organized with giant rigs, or aws, to get early coins. its not like they are securing a super active blockchain full of non-mining transactions. they are just mining the sh*t out of it, to sell it on exchanges to people like me who are going to mine 1 block every 2 weeks. |

The prices are high because this isn't a typical pump and dump. Welcome to auto adjusting difficulties only a select few can mine successfully. and now they will control the market. not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing? regular folks dont stand a chance of mining with their "CPU" not going to stop me from buying, but this is almost less democratic than an IPO |

That is your assumption (that you can buy it cheaper on exchange after launch). You're free to wait and find out.
Based on all the other IPO's (that includes shit coins and innovative coins). Don't get me wrong, I love what you are doing here, but isn't it always like that that after the launch the value plummets and then rebounces? Of course finally it will be worth much more than the presale price, however you can usually buy more for the same price after it hits exchange. Or am I wrong? some IPO hit exchanges and go below their IPO price, others dont. |

IPO holder did great but after today, 18,000 coins at 23K sat is 0.414 bitcoin with a day. Its got to go up a whole lot more if it wants to keep miners. If not, then I think this coin might just die. My pool is down to just 7 miners and the network is down immensely as well.
