There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

hehe, so funny what crypto has become with everyone dying for transparency on every dev. Satoshi would roll over in his grave and tell all of you to fuck off, let the actions speak not their linkedin/social media bullshit. If you want transparency then stick with banks lol.

"Roll over in his grave"

But Satoshi isn't dead!  Shocked Shocked

It seems the market likes the ClearingHouse idea and that the dev is working on the decentralized app feature.

so - let me ask the burning question - for those of you who invested before the coin was released for mining - how is your investment per coin vs. that current value of the coin?

because it's still a horrible investment of mining power versus just about every other coin out there.

thanks

I read that in the dev's blog. A new developer definitely speed up the development process and a quick release would be key as there are multiple projects working on the very same idea.

IPO was worth about 6K sat per coin and via is currently worth about 23K.  I think the IPO holders are doing pretty well if they haven't already dumped their coins but not the miners.  The miners are keeping the network alive but the block reward will be down to 5 coins soon which is 18,000 coins/day.

BTW - We have to wait a whole 3600 confirmation or 24 hours to get the coins.  I'm starting to think its not worth my time to mine this coin anymore because the more I think about it, the way the coin was released, it seems it was designed to let the IPO holder sell and dump for three days way before the miners could get in on any selling action.

that was a great investment then - perhaps the dumpers are done and out of coins which accounts for the price rise?

there are so many shitcoins out there, that when something comes long that is NOT a shitcoin, people take notice.  more people want to buy it than sell it at the moment.
