481  Economy / Economics / Re: What triggered the sudden rise in bitcoin price? on: April 06, 2019, 06:54:46 PM
Just notice my bitcoin in my wallet have increase in value but I can't find any major news after doing some research that must have triggered that price rise then remembered I have an account on BCT-talk. I have not been following up with latest news as my work is eating up most of my time but I have some decent amount of bitcoin and don't want to be left in the dark. Anyone with an idea what triggered the sudden price spike.
everything has some Trigger point in it so it was not happened for Bitcoin from a long period of time so if it was happening then the price will possibly up and this will happening right now so I sure it will continue for long period of time to develop.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: April 05, 2019, 08:26:07 PM
This truth really struck home as I read this piece by Dr. Steven Englander, a big thinker and expert in currencies and macro-investing who has worked in the Fed, Citi, Lehman Bros., the OECD, etc.

At the center of his conclusion that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have no real value proposition is that the top Western currencies have no store-of-value problem.  True, the US is not Zimbabwe, or Venezuela, but is a bright person like himself not aware that a dollar or pound is worth a small fraction of itself decades to a century ago?  Somone else could be forgiven for the oversight, but surely someone of the stature of Dr. Englander should know better.  At least when he writes a long and thoughtful piece like this.

Which brings me to, really, my pet peeve.  We all talk about the technical features of this money or that.  Electronic vs. physical.  Inflationary or deflationary.  Even transactional speed and cost.  But truly, the only things that really matter are political.  (That is, after a money satisfies the basic requirements, which is not a problem here.)

And I'm not even talking about how money affects the distribution of benefits to different political constituents, whether it benefits debtors vs. creditors, etc., etc.  That is a good topic for another time.  I'm talking about something deeper.  Money is political in the truest, most precise, and widest sense of the word.  And the political dividing line is not between left and right, but between the top politicians and bankers, and everyone else.

Money determines how much goes to the elites and their allies, and how much goes to everyone else.  In the service of the political goal of maximizing benefits for the former, all things tend to get distorted.  Not only is the economy twisted into producing too many luxuries for the beneficiaries by providing unstable employment to the rest (because, after all, luxuries are bought, or not, at the whims of the lucky.)  All the mainstream commentary we hear, somehow, only reflects what the elites want us to think.

According to what we now have to call mouth-pieces of the elites, somehow, people always chase bubbles, and always get hurt, because they're irrational, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.  Central-bank money creation is *never* a driving factor.  No, never.

We're living in a lie, and the earlier we wake up to it, the better.  What officials and mainstream media and academics tell us must sometimes be dismissed with: it's just politics.
yes I agree that the money is always build it up for the good reasons to make the life of people more easier but nowadays it will be going to like the government control and especially the political things will come pain together with money and make the changes useful for them so I think it will not good at any type of situation.
483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: April 05, 2019, 08:11:59 PM
From the look of things it seemed the bullish trend has commenced and most of the langing indicators are showing uptrend signal. I am a lover of bullish trend and I do wish the market keep going upwards with a little reset along the ways and I do believe that we all has the desire of seeing bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market be in good condition.
The bearish trend that commenced in December around 15, 2017 seem to be over and now we are awaiting another bull run that may create another pathways that we have never seeing before. My desired is that all the cryptocurrencies holders and enthusiast become millionaires, billionaires and the leaders of the world financial system.
we are longing for good season right now so that cryptocurrencies had to be more developed only the need of our investment will be enough in this situation because we are waiting from a long period of time so it need to be more developed to complete our needs that we we are waiting to solve from there the past years.
484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to sell a little bitcoin on: April 05, 2019, 08:03:22 PM
I have been away for awhile and was wondering where the best place to sell some bitcoin would be?

Was selling some on coinbase but now they want a copy of my ID and I don't feel comfortable with that.

Is CEX.IO a good place to sell?

Thanks
yes definitely the people in this situation will train to sell less investment also but the comfortable things will not been given from the biggest sites will be the problem here so it could be useful for that some peoples to make their investment and selling more easily.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do none of you feel guilty? on: April 05, 2019, 07:51:51 PM
Shilling for casinos, encouraging people to gamble away their savings. SCUMBAGS.
when a person Force Day a person to put his savings into gambling will not been suggested by anyone but my opinion is forcing someone to enter into the speed but my opinion is it is like pushing someone into a hell.

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: Deep crash before going to the moon? on: April 05, 2019, 07:24:51 PM

Will the Ethereum, the crypto that held second largest cryptocutrrency place, survive this week mayhem?
Is it a deep crash before it goes up?

ETH/USD is down 0.55 percent on day at $173.77 and is down about 18 percent for the week already.
The trend for the long term now remains extremely bearish before any meaningful stabilisation in the prices.

Are we going down to double digits?
yes you are right the development of ethereum was so much expected by the investors in the year of 2017 but it is also like Bitcoin when it was in that peak time it will not been performing well but the possibility of getting better is very easier for this type of good currencies so I can not considered the price drop very much in this time.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 05, 2019, 07:12:30 PM
Seeing market slowly recover then it is a good sign that there could be next ATH. So, while crypto is cheap.now, Do you think that it is better to invest now? How ready are you to do it. Are you going to invest all at once or make a succeesion of investment over a period of time.

Please let me know your plans and strategy and how you think you can earn from the market.
I was taking my position to invest but still not I get the convenient if I get the stability in the investment I can do it right now but it can take some time to be stable with some development so that people will also need to be more confidence with lots of patience right now in this time to invest.
489  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think bitcoin taking position to go up on: April 05, 2019, 07:00:34 PM
I think bitcoin taking position to go up or seeking some green signals from traders. Investors and regulators
This phase of btc seems last phase of bear

the Bitcoin need some triggering. I think ok the reason few days will had the chances of being a triggering point to start the the Fire if it was successfully launched then the value will be easily rise again.
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short-term algorithmic trading strategies on: April 05, 2019, 06:51:34 PM
There are various approaches described in the literature that claim to reliably predict short-term price movements in the range of approx. 1 minute. While the results concerning prediction accuracy look promising, I still wonder how one could leverage such approaches. Background: I've written a simulator which so far implements two basic trading strategies on historical data. The first strategy is straightforward in that it simply market buys/sells an asset when the simulated prediction indicates an upward/downward movement, respectively. Not surprisingly, exchange fees of say 0.1% more than eat up the profits (the relatively high volatility of most coins compared to shares etc. is apparently not sufficient to outweigh the fees for such short time frames). The second strategy I tried is to place limit orders (price = highest bid / lowest ask) to avoid taker fees. However, the probability with which an order gets filled seems to be very low, particularly since the predicted price movement points to the "opposite" direction. As I'm relatively new to algorithmic trading, I googled for market making strategies and studied some papers but didn't really find a solution. Does anybody have similar experiences or hints to related literature? Thanks!
yes while we are doing the short-term trading it will give lots of pressure and tension if the value of suddenly gone to low value at the time we don't have need to be panic at the situation so you need to be more careful with your trading experience will helpful for doing some strategies like this
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 05, 2019, 06:50:09 PM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time
the investment strategies are always helpful to take some good extra profit at the end because if you don't have any plans about your investment you will not had the plan about your selling so it will affect definitely the profit also so you need to be more pre determined with your investment.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 04, 2019, 07:53:10 PM
The bulls are back. Who is watching the live action with me?
The cryptocurrency market added over $20 billion in market capitalization in the last 24 hours.
This is the biggest bull run we've seen since 2017. Do you think the market will hold or this is just another artificial pump?

it stuks in the middle of 4000 to 5000 Dollars from a very long period of time but this will be the chances of getting a better value from the recent days so I think the huge possibility of bull front will be available right now if it was stable development without any falling.
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY THE SUDDEN DUMP WITHOUT ANY MAJOR NEWS? on: April 04, 2019, 07:37:30 PM
Over the past few days, there  was a  significant rise in most of the assets on the crypto market including  the altcoins. For instance the value of Ethereum  also rose alongside bitcoin. It has become rather strange to me that there has been a sudden fall also, I don't know if some major traders or whales are playing mind games with amateur traders. Most bullish and bearish runs comes with a major news but this case was different.
it is because of their is no comfortable situation with the cryptocurrency from a long period of time from the beginning of this year there will be a good vibe but chances of getting the market better in this situation will available for every currency that we are invested previously so I think the changes will happen from this year will be possible.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: April 04, 2019, 07:26:33 PM
Bitcoin went as higher as $4909 today on some exchanges platforms!  It is the highest this year and will like to find out how does today sparked affect gambling and betting?
it will be a huge problem for the investors but the gambling field will always available to invest and get huge income if he had a success at that day so I think there is no big negative will available from this situation about the price drop.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler = Future's Failure on: April 04, 2019, 07:15:53 PM
The Gambler must be get involved with the limitation otherwise he will get the failures in most of the time but it was not happen for most of the people who are doing it for couple of times but when a person doing again and again only the failure is happening most of the time.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: April 04, 2019, 06:53:44 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
I am in the safer side because Bitcoin will be the most easy way to make money for your investment so so I will go with Bitcoin investment and it will be developing right now with huge expectation if it was fulfilled it will give the success for my investment.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with Bitcoin Cash? on: April 04, 2019, 06:45:42 PM
I did buy some, but I honestly don't know much about it (I know it's origins of course) and I've read it is used a bunch in Japan, but I don't think that is new news. What is causing this pump, and do you expect it will last? I feel quite comfortable holding btc and Dash, for some reason I don't feel comfortable holding much bitcoin cash except for the short term, what do you guys think?
I think the investment is not probably good in this time with Bitcoin cash because there will be no trust came to the investment right now because the falling is is more higher than the development that's why I am holding my investment to to get the profit in the future.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: April 04, 2019, 06:33:56 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7
yes I trust the project most importantly needed a good product otherwise it will not successful because people need the good things only in this time so if it was going to be a investment they are more careful for their future and they consider about everything.
499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profit or keep the position open? (Bitmex) on: April 04, 2019, 06:21:01 PM
Hey folks,

i recently started playing around with Bitmex and was wondering if you guys take profit at such spikes like today? Or do you just leave the position open and forget about it?

I thought about leaving it open, since my estimated liquidation price is around 3500$ and i am pretty sure we're not going to see this low anymore (just my opinion).
It would probably be wise to take profits and re-buy at a lower point, but i'm afraid to miss out the hype train.

Please share your opinions  Smiley
I am always trying to get out a profit in all the success because the profit is important for my life to get a convenient Lifestyle so so if my whole investment was losses also I can manage my profit to a good savings.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: April 04, 2019, 06:19:10 PM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
friends are different from others because they don't trust anything still they are getting satisfied so the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency parts are also same for them to don't accept very easily but when they realise it will be profitable they can also trying to invest in this and get the success this is the fact about the cryptocurrency in friend circle.
