361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 20, 2019, 06:00:08 PM
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??
yes definitely greed will playing an important thing for everyone to get losses with their work because it will always common for everyone but one who can control BC emotions and his need to get the profit only he can make the success other ways it will be little difficult.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 20, 2019, 05:58:41 PM
The hyped in 2017 cause bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies to surged toward the end of the year and complete crashed back to the bottom in December 2018. Did people really know what they are investing in?  Is a question that keeps ringing in my mind and actually the answer to that question is that people follow the hype and forgot to  checked for reality before investing and this come from the testimony of those that has claim of making big profits or gain from the past surge that came into the cryptocurrencies market.
I think the red flag there is that people think of what they are going to get from their investments into cryptocurrencies more than the capital they have invested and as results when the reality done on them,  they began to sell out of panic and in turn the market clash like it happens through 2018.
Now that we have another opportunity to invest because of the down turned,  I do believe that it is good you look at the reality behind any coin you want to invest in and not the FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype behind those coins.
I really know about how can I made a decision in this time because I have no options about selling I had the only option keep my hold on for long time and it needs not to be more considering about my investment if the Bull Run was happening I definitely Keep following every time what my investment is going now.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 20, 2019, 04:16:50 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
to define the best exchanges will be simple it will need to be transparent with a good trust about the exchange and it is enough for make the exchanges on that site to secure our good transaction

365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why hold ethereum on: April 20, 2019, 03:43:39 PM
If I could pick one crypto that suits for holding, that would be ethereum. Do you agree that this one is good for a holder ?

It's more established than other alts in the market and  companies are adopting it.
definitely not compulsory for everyone we need to do do for our future and thinking about the holding will be always right idea so the development is happening right now for the field and it will be for ethereum also so holding it not a bad idea.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 20, 2019, 03:35:22 PM
This is actually my first topic on the bitcointalk forum, been in the crypto eco-sphere for some time now but didn't really feel the need to join this forum until lately. As a trader/ investor the market has taught me some pretty tough lessons and am currently in search of solutions. My question is when does one get out of a trade or sell off a crypto investment?. I used to be a sucker for the hold gang but recent experience has taught me that sometimes you just need to sell off some cryptocurrency even at loss and move on with your life. Examples of such include dragon chain. I bought at the top a year ago and because of the fact that i noticed they were constantly having meetups and news on their social media, i felt sooner or later the market will correct and it will escalate in price. Fast forward to today am rekt and my investment is almost 92 percent gone.
I think its important to throw this question open to the public because a lot of noobs are coming through and although this happens to be the best time to join the crypto space, people need to be educated that it won't be always rossy, you might need to get out of some trades before it gets you down the rabbit hole and into wretchedness.
So blockchain experts and crypto enthusiast when do you say is the best time to get out of a trade? or Dump a long term cryptocurrency you invested in? What level of loss can you take before you hit the panic button?.

this is the most important and difficult part in investment of cryptocurrency field because we don't know which is the best time when a development is happening suddenly it will be reduces and sometimes it will not be introduces so predicting that thing will be the experience of everyone if you find that you will definitely get the success.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: The Blockchain technologies on: April 20, 2019, 03:24:35 PM

The Blockchain invention already has resulted in so many technology trends including hybrid blockchains, ricardian contracts, stable coins, security tokens and so on. What other inventions regarding blockchain do you think we might see in he next couple of years? What other industries could this system improve?
after the entry of blockchain system the whole life of myself was totally changed into different dimension and it will be in positive direction so I think it will happen for everyone in this world so the possibility of taking care of economic situation will also be done with the cryptocurrency so the government definitely need to consider about the acceptance of this money also.

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: April 20, 2019, 02:46:04 PM
Hello
I had more than 700k of crypto and now it's turned into 24k dollard that I do not hesitate to sell everything and go to something else and on one side I think I must hodl! Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
in previous time I thought was it is the end of cryptocurrency but again its proving cryptocurrency will not going to end now the green days are becoming started now so that thinking about the future of cryptocurrency is not needed you need to do what is going on now and what is the way to get your investment more developed.

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: April 20, 2019, 02:21:59 PM
Yes using this opportunity a lots of people make the money to get huge amount of income within a short span of time so show the value and the development of ICO are expired so again testing it not used so you need to decide what is going to happen the next
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Very stable BTC dominance on: April 20, 2019, 02:20:32 PM
Since the dump from 6500$ (and actually since sept.) btc dominance has been very stable, around 53%.
However it appears previous bear market phases always had an impact on the indicator.

How do you explains this at all?

/edit: details
Since september Bitcoin went from $6500 to $5500
Then 5500 to 4200
Then 4200 to 3700
Then 3700 to 4300
Then 4300 to 3300

BTC and the whole cryptomarket are falling absolutely proportionately. It remains at 53%
Previously it wasn't the case. Dec 13 it fell from 96% to 87%. Strong movements in the markets pretty much always translated in a different dominance afterwards.

Note that the absolute value of btc dominance (53%), high/low, is not my point at all.
Also speculations on BTC aren't the point, it's only about understanding the current stability of btc dominance, if it has any meaning.
when we see the development of Bitcoin it is more dominant in the Crypto market so we cannot say the other currencies have the opportunity to make the development of Bitcoin and it will not been probably not possible for any type of investment.

374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Bitcoin Cash rise quickly? on: April 19, 2019, 02:30:27 AM
What have you seen with the growth of Bitcoin Cash in recent weeks? Looks like it's experiencing a pretty good growth with the price. What do you think if you have to compare it to Ethereum at the same time right now. Fix my opinion. Thank you all.
mostly the improvement was not stable for long time but no this time is little different from the normal period of time because the development is like being with stability also that's why I say the chances of improvement is more higher in the situation.
375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Done Buying Cryptocoins? I AM. on: April 19, 2019, 02:21:04 AM
Let's face facts, many of us have been in Crypto for years now.

Aside from the very few instances where you need to send crytocoins and transact immediately.

How many of you are just done buying crypto as an investment?

I mean you purchased enough of multiple coins, that if any hit your intended price target for them in 5 to 10 years,
you be richer than you ever dreamed.

So are you

1. Done buying crypto and just waiting for your ship to come in.
2. Buying forever with no intent to ever sell.
3. Still not purchased enough coins for your ship to come in.
4. Crypto Day Trader buy and sell everyday for small gains
added
5. Buying when extra money around, spending coins when finding stuff to buy via BTC and getting a better price, having a stash that I won't sell till I really feel the need to get out and one that I might sell earlier to cover some big buy (change of house, new car, etc etc).
6. Long Trader: Continuously buying while the prices are calm and just waiting to sell high.

I am in the 1 category, literally no reason to buy any more, don't even care about new cryptos.
If it reaches my price target , I'll be rich, if not, I won't be spending any more money on it.
So Which are You?
thinking about the future will always giving the less confident only because the market is like that I don't have the hundred percent trust about my investment for my future generation it will be difficult to say I am done with my investment.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 19, 2019, 02:12:54 AM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy
yes I agree your statement, everyone need to do gambling only for happiness otherwise if you take it as a serious business at the end of the day you will got only defeat this is the fact also known will be successful by doing the gambling each and every day in their life.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: April 19, 2019, 02:02:38 AM
In my town there are ants that only appear once a year and it is common for children to capture one and start a fight against others ants.

San Juan Ants also known as Chicatanas

This made me think ...  What would happen if this took a step forward and stopped being just a children's game?

How would it be if you could bet?
How would the people see it , its just as crazy as a dog or a cock fights?
What do you think?

this very new to me and I don't previously do it this type of betting but I know only one thing it will be more entertained and fun with it but this type of way to bet is like make your entertainment only not for making money
378  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: April 19, 2019, 01:44:42 AM
What a sunny day for bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market? The market has added over $20 billion in the last 48 hours.
is that the sign for the next crypto bull run or this is just another pump by the whales to let people in and later cash out their money?
Are we on the verge of seeing another ATH very soon or it is just an ordinary pump... What y'all thinking?

is Benzene the Bitcoin recent times the improvement are very much higher than the falling so it will be a good chances of development and this year will be the most important for everyone to be successful otherwise it will be difficult to take a chance again.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is raising money for Facebook Coin on: April 19, 2019, 01:31:17 AM
Yesterday I created a topic here about Facebook Coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5129560.20

After that Nathaniel Popper, a NYTimes reporter that covers crypto, said Facebook is raising money for its crypto project. Seems like I may not be wrong in my article.
Here and here:
https://twitter.com/nathanielpopper/status/1115331482384388098
https://coingeek.com/facebook-seeks-1-billion-investment-from-vcs-for-its-crypto/

I can't see other reason for Facebook to be raising money if its not to back its own decentralized crypto. FB wouldn't need to raise to issue a stablecoin.
Everybody in the original topic said FBCoin couldn't replace bitcoin. While I agree that the ultimate store of value will remain BTC, I think FBCoin could easily surpass BTC in daily usage and, therefore, market cap.

I ran some numbers and I think its possible that FBCoin launches with around 300B USD market cap and reaches 1T in a few months. I'm comparing to HKD M0/M1 and HKMA's stability fund.
But I think FB should raise at least 10B to cover the initial stage of running a "sovereign" fund to stabilize the currency against extreme volatility, like I wrote in my article: https://medium.com/blockchain-positive/how-facebook-coin-can-help-billions-of-people-by-not-being-a-stablecoin-d780b6579e93

Brace yourselves, new times are coming.

is this true they are doing it seriously, I think the chances of getting the people to be attracted by the Facebook is very much easier and the place will be always there for this type of bigger companies will be easily given by the people to trust because they are always been in part of our life that's why it will be possible to develop very easily.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Guys! Are we really heading to a bullish market? on: April 19, 2019, 01:19:29 AM

So there in the past hour, we had a really big price movement there
We were hovering at the 50 EMA and 100 EMA line in the last few daily session, no one really know where the market moves and everyone is uncertain
However, the price progressed!
We not only breached the 100EMA, we also broked the 200EMA Line!
The volume is too huge that make the price pierce through everything.

Then, the volume today are also above the average trading volume!

However, few things to note
#1) Price is currently Kinda Oversold there, we are at 80 Oversold at a daily chart
#2) Just because the price pierce through all the indicators that we are looking at, it doesn't mean the price will rebound 100%
The 50 and 100 Moving average is still below the 200 Moving average

Hence, kindly take note if you are looking to trade and open any positions
Crypto market is volatile there!

Good luck
yes I trust this changes because the chances of improvement is increase in my mind set and also saying the changes suddenly there will be a little bit extra chances of development will be available right now that's why I am saying this.
