mmm the pool had 400+ GH for one day now its back to normal 100-150gh , dont see how you could add 450GH as the norm.

It's been at 400 Gh for a while, peaking at like 700.  It appears there is a big hopper who goes in and out.

Do you have an ETA on the next issue?

Short answer
I'm targeting Sunday 4/8 or Monday 4/9

Long answer
I've been waiting to get an ad up on the forums.  The current auction round for ad space ends on 4/9, but I wanted to run it earlier.  It looks like I might be able to run an ad sooner, potentially starting as early as today.  Once it's up I would want it to run a few days and build up more awareness before starting the next issue.  I will be out of town on Saturday, so Sunday or Monday is looking like a good timeframe.

Hi all-

This situation is quite tragic.  I never had any financial dealings with Andrew, but since he lived near me I was able to buy parts from him from time to time.

I have since moved to Seattle and need help re-racking a bunch of my mining gear.  Andrew offered to help and I have agreed.  I offered to fly him up here, pay for his hotel for three nights, and pay for his food.  I have since offered to pay him $50/day for his work for four days = $200.  I'm offering to pay 20% of that to the fund ($40/~8 btc) so that debtors are also getting something.

Let me know if this sounds fair.

+1 to CrazyBlane

Bought 2 x 5870's from him.  They arrived quickly, well packed, and in excellent condition.

lol.

What is the IPO price per share of the second wave? I want to get some purchases ready!

I will probably align it with the most the trading price on GLBSE at the time I release the second set of shares, which as I write this is 0.6125

Graphs are stored in RAM and history is gone on each reboot.  It should start a new one a few minutes after rebooting though.  Only thing I can think of is that you have a capital letter in your rig name?  If so, remove the capital letter from the name and graphs should work again.

LOL.  A capital letter in the rig name breaks the graphs??

Solidworks is great for doing stuff like that, I don't know what he's using though.

This is progressing really well though. Looks awesome!
Read up the page just a little bit...:

Its the the free Google Sketchup.  There's a library of computer component models at http://scc.jezmckean.com/home, which you can import into your own model.
Grin

That made my day right there.  Not just a cool free tool, but a library with computer part models.  Yay!!

I just missed the first wave. Ah well, good idea doing this in two waves Smiley

I'll sell you a bunch for 2 btc each, if you want them sooner Smiley

It's already started!  lol

Second wave is coming.  I plan to do a bit of advertising too.  Want to make sure it everything sells and that the trading price after the IPO will hopefully rise and give bondholders an opportunity for a bit more profit.

All 5,000 bonds (shares) from the first round have been sold!

I have updated the OP accordingly.

For all you new bondholders, thank you!  Smiley   We're off to a great start.   I will be partitioning the mining rigs later this week and will start on April 8 with the first week of mining.  First payouts to be made on 4/14

I have also started to work on the design for a website where you will be able to see earnings, estimate payouts, and other neat features.

For those who didn't make it into the first round, don't worry.  I am preparing the second round of 5,000 shares to be sold.  I will update the thread on the exact timing, but it won't be too long.
193  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 Ghash ENTIRE Operation. on: April 05, 2012, 12:03:10 AM
Hi.

Can you send me details of your mining rigs?  Also, where are you located?

I have btc on hand to buy if we find a deal.

I saw 5830 on newegg for $108. I decided to buy some for re-sale. They are under warranty. The receipt will be included. $125 each. Free ship USA.

I managed to snag about five for myself (I can never get too many 5830's). I figured that others buying them were either mining freaks like me or were buying them for re-sale.  In the latter case I wondered when I would see them up for sale on the forums at a premium.

Down to about 400 bonds (shares) left.  Get them while you can!

First coupon payments (dividends) will be sent on April 14.  Looking forward to sharing the mined coins with all the bondholders

Looks like the GLBSE is down.   Sad

Luckily my IPO started off without a hitch.  But bummer to be down on IPO day
199  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Bitbond - 20Gh/s perpetual bond in 2Mh/s increments on: April 04, 2012, 04:41:43 PM
How does this work? I see 565 asks at 0.6 but it says 10000 shares (bonds?) issued, too. Does that mean the issued bonds have all been sold and there have been four exchanged after the 10000 were sold?

Edit: I guess that means that of the 10000 issued, 565 are still for sale at the initial price.

10,000 were created (issued) - 20 Gh/s divided by 2 Mh/s increments = 10,000

I put up 5,000 for sale in the initial round this morning.  Of that 484 are still available for sale at the time I write this.  Almost gone!
200  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 28 on: April 04, 2012, 03:38:58 PM
Don't forget that if you bid in the last 30 mins, the auction is extended by 30 mins.  Wink
