I think its very posibble to happen, now that its only 1st month of the year and too early to become hopeless. I bet before the year 2018 overs, The price of bitcoin will smoothly reach the $20K before the year ends.
Indeed, be optimistic bitcoin will touch 20,000$ again or even more before this year 2018 end. Bitcoin was so fluctuative hence, it is not possible for it to happen. Yet, day by day cryptocommunity is become larger and this means that the demand will rise same on its value. Always remember that don't panic and be wise on our decision because it might lead to our loss plus, have a trust on it. Many financial experts believe that Bitcoin will be over 20 thousand, and it will happen close to November-December 2018. I support their viewpoint. |

when i didn't pay attention or invest in bitcoin back when 2011. i thought bitcoin is just a small that can even last and nothing will happen but when i heard the news about bitcoin now i immediately regret my decison.
The worst decision I have ever made (I mean Bitcoin, sure) was the sale of all of my BTC coins in 2013. If I would not do it that time, I’d be able to buy a new house! Who could suspect that time that Bitcoin can go to the Moon? |

No I don't believe in XML  Why? Smart people are saying it's like ripple, Runned by some banks etc, and also tether is in same position... Specially Tether, because they can just print out new tokens, that is not the way, they can produce tokens out of thin air, well dunno really if they are backing up by something, but probobly not. But how then token could stay at price 1$? Yes, I do. I trust Stellar Lumens and I hold some of these coins. I am glad that it is going up, and it has now better positions on the market than many other altcoins. However, no one can predict if it will grow further. |

it can go lower, but if we get directly breakout to 11555, you wil mis the rise.

But we can can agree that with the use of Bitcoins, those who are into ransom has increased their chances of not blowing up their cover.

However, not every criminal in this world are into this kind of technology, keep in mind that there are more small time criminals out there that those who are big time and small time ones prefer cash and fast money.

Just today I have read an article about criminality Bitcoins. It was informing the readers that each 10th BTC was stolen. Supply and demand is the basics but the nitty gritty is the people who are involved in the markets and these people act rational at times and irrationally other times. This back and forth between rational and not gives rise to crazy unpredictable movements which not even the best of traders can pinpoint. Ie nobody knows why there is value all we know is this technology is great and we want to be involved with it.
I agree with you here. The reason why the crypto world is extremely volatile in the first place(More volatile than the stock and forex markets) is due to the minds of people which get swayed easily for different reasons like FUD(Example: Recent South Korea Ban on crypto exchanges). People tend to trust bitcoin over other altcoins majority of the time though due to its popularity and value in the modern world today. Supply and demand is indeed the primary indicator of bitcoin value, but there are many reasons like real world events, FUD etc which tend to affect bitcoin in a small or big way! There are many factors that determine Bitcoin value. The main one is the belief of people in this crypto. Then capitalization affects its price (and very much). The demand for BTC is the third great reason to change the price of Bitcoin. |

I think NO, bitcoin can not replace dollar SOON. We all know that bitcoin is a digital currency, and the government can not control this kind of decentralize currency. No one knows in the future, maybe that will happen after 30years. I do not see any signs that Bitcoin can replace the dollar. Therefore, I invest in bitcoin, but keep the money in dollars. Also I have altcoins for long term holding! And last 6 month it give amazing result. |

It must be alarming on bitcoins right now but keep in mind that it started from just a hundred dollars before i think youre late investing on it, you might invested when its already on top which give you less profit from it. This is not a panic time for bitcoin, it is still on high price why would you panic ?

At the end of this month, 20k will come in. The price of Bitcoin will certainly be a fast growth this year. Bitcoin price will definitely reach 40k. But getting 70k is a little bit harder.
There's no chance of 70k $ this year. It's possible around 20-25k $. The end of last year and the decline in prices gave people a little bit to think about.
