Thier crypto bank has flagged my account as suspicious for arbitrage and says I have to wait a month or two before doing a withdrawal.
These are mainly the format used to extort money from, these fraudsters uses some strategy to collect their victims money, after some certain time, you'll be emailed or something to deposit a little amount before you'll be enabled to withdraw to whichever wallet address you want. At the end of paying, you'll still be given another format and on and on and on just to get money from you untill you give up on them and refuses to pay.

I’ve heard of this scam.
Still hoping I can get it. Will see

Where can I post issues about problems with withdrawals if the the exchange deals with other crypto then just BTC?
Having issues with a exchange called h5.multi-banks.com
Thier crypto bank has flagged my account as suspicious for arbitrage and says I have to wait a month or two before doing a withdrawal.
I had done several withdrawals to see if I could trust the site. There was also some issues with sending digital crypto to a coinbase crypto that was unsupported
As stated by others as well, the domain shows that it's not a known exchange, I've never even seen that domain before and I've been in the cryptocurrency industry for years and I know most of the cryptocurrency exchanges, legit ones. I also wonder why you would use a completely unknown exchange when there are popular and well-known cryptocurrency exchanges available such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and many more where you can trade, use P2P marketplaces, and get access to a bunch of other tools and services.

If you are a part of the exchange you've mentioned in your post and trying to promote it, then it's understandable but if that's not the case, you should avoid using that platform and register at a well-known and popular exchange platform and use that to stay safe from frauds and scams which I believe is what you are talking about.

Am not promoting the site, just trying to get my $ out of the account. This is the account I sent the funds too from the edxmarkets site.
If you google MultiBankGroups you will see various hits.

Wonder  why I coukd join. I am retail.
Oh well I am still Leary but will see.

As you found out there are quite a few links about it

By join, did you mean you have passed their rigorous onboarding process? -- you know, all that evaluation and whatnot.

Could you also triple check you're not on some phishing website? specially if you've got the link from someone online, scam PMs are pretty rampant.

Hello
I had to go thru the KYC thing to get a account.  That was it.

If you google it you’ll see quite a few links.  Too many to be just a phishing site.
Too be clear I am not recommending anything. I am still dubious even though I have made good profits three and withdrew more than 10k to another site.
Will let you know when I withdraw  the rest of my funds how that goes.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDM to USDT on: December 14, 2023, 12:55:33 PM
usdm is a very unpopular coin, transaction volume is very low with such conditions of course exchangers that can support this coin are very low.
I see on coinmarketcap there are only 3 exchangers that support it, of course the official exchanger site from usdm itself, the other 2 are digifinex and l bank.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/usd-mars/#Markets

Thanks
That confirms my own findings.
just saw some bad reviews on IBank. digifinex looked somewaht better

I did send 1500 to my bank. And at one point sent all $ to another account. Well will see how it goes. Not putting anymore in till take it out again

have you tried binance already? it appears that they both have usdm and usdt on the exchange  it might work I personally have not tried converting usdm to usdt but you could check and might try if its worth and applicable , and besides there is nothing wrong in trying .
There's absolutely nothing wrong if we want to make attempts to solved the intending problem at hand, everyone can freely dropped solutions which can either succeed or not. The conversion have 50/50 chances of either succeeding or failing, though we have to keep positive mindset whenever we wants to gamble. The problem of swapping, we just gave to deal with swapping USDM to USDT and I'm confident this incident can be resolved. Trying Binance is a good welcomeable idea because he should keep making findings and following an appropriate steps of ensuring of solving issues.

Might be able to do it on Biance but process looks a bit tricky per
https://www.binance.com/en/how-to-buy/usd-mars. Assuming the reverse process is simliar.

Since I can’t even send crypto off the Multi site I was using the  answer to this question is not as needed as it was. But may need to do it in future
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Reviews on edxmarkets.com ?? on: December 13, 2023, 10:48:30 PM
I don't think you could find any personal reviews here seeing how the platform does not take retail customers and internet message boards like bitcointalk being filled with average people AKA retail customers

Institutions seeking to join the growing list of EDX members should follow the steps below. EDX’s Membership team will coordinate an introductory meeting which will lay the groundwork for the Membership and technical onboarding process.

... EDX does not onboard or accept any deposits from retail customers.

There's also the fact that they just started:

The exchange began processing trades in June 2023.

Wonder  why I coukd join. I am retail.

OP where did you get the exchange site you mentioned here? This is the first time I have seen such an exchange site from you. Many people expressed their opinion here and said it is a scam exchange site. I will also say with 100% sure this is a scam exchange site. It is not right for you to use all these scam sites, you should have used all the best exchanges. This no way to solve this issue and you have given your money to scammers.

Hello
I did mention the site is the USDm to USDT thread.

Still hoping I can withdraw. I have a copy of some docs showing them regulated by the Cypris, Singapore and austrialian  Finance groups.  Not sure how easy or hard it is to communicate with these bodies. Already had one email ignored. I did find them on the countries register but with the name
MEX instead of multi-banks

Yes I also understand that you have created the thread here to convert USDM to USDT. But if your problem is solved then good for you. In my experience I have never heard of an exchange where the answer to my question was overwhelmingly negative. But it sounds great for you if your problem is solved. I hope your problem is solved very quickly.

There is quite a lot of info if google MultiBanksGroup. It seems that the site i posted is only one of the groups and each individual group is more independent then I thought and they all have thier own sites. It’s really a forex site that does crypto. Is this a new thing where forex is doing Crypto?
I am wondering if I posted in the wrong forum.
When I asked one of the groups sone general questions they said they would only answer questions about the group in thier country. This is quite confusing.
But still see sone hope

I was reffered there by a FB friend.  Who i dont think has any connections to these platforms. But yes could be. I hope Not
I never heard about this "edxmarkets" but that right there (the way you heard about this exchange) is a major red flag as its a known scammer tactic in whihc they contact you voa social media platforms or dating sites, pretend to be interested just to switch conversation towards completely unknown exchange.

Another major red flag is that exchange is not on CMC/Coingecko. Being listed there is not sign of legitimacy, but not being there at all is very suspicious.

There are quite a few hits on google even if you ignore those coming from edxmarkets. Some bad as shown above, others better. It’s technically listed as a digital trading marketplace and not a Crypto platform.  Looks more like a Forex site.

Is this a new thing where Forex platforms Also trade crypto?
Am I posting on the wrong forum?

If your exchange is facing any such problem then why are you not contacting the online support of the exchange. Try to contact the online support people and tell them about your problem. Support will help you to find out why this problem is happening or why your win is being suspended. Apart from helping you in this regard, the online support will guide you in various directions on what to do or how you can complete the withdrawal. If you don't have the experience of contacting online support before then search on Google or YouTube by writing the name of the exchange from which you are facing this problem and you will see many related videos coming in front of you. I hope you can solve your problem by watching them.

Thanks
I have had frequent contact with thier customer support which is relatively easy to contact.

Still hoping

This is the exchange I first went to before the other multi-banks one.
Yes it is like margin trading but technically called a contract option. But very similiar.
There are quite a few hits  on google.  Done sone withdrawals but not enough to feel comfortable with the site

I wonder how you stumbled upon pretty much unknown exchanges. And I wonder more why you particularly want to try them and risk your money in the process.

Yeah, options, one of those derivatives. I don't trade these, but this product isn't unique to the platform you mentioned. Why don't you trade these crypto options on more trusted platforms? Options trading are also offered in Binance, OKX, Bybit, and other more popular and trusted platforms? I'm not saying it's worry-free there, but it's definitely safer there compared to an unknown and young platform.

Hello.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I am concerned.

I had some funds there before going to the Multi-banks site.

The below article mentions this anchorage as a custodial wallet. And Coindesk is not part of EDX.  Not sure how much this really means as far as trusting it.
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/08/22/crypto-exchange-edx-market-taps-anchorage-as-custody-provider/

"Options trading are also offered in Binance, OKX, Bybit," Quote From Darker45.
Thats interesting and good to know, cause Ive done Ok with it. Buy when the red bar is way down and starting to go green, then jump off as soon as it turns red. If doing a position. Although with the 40 sec timer you only get 40 secs.

LOL! I've just responded to your other thread about your experience having withdrawal issues with an unknown exchange. You were rightly advised by other users to stick to "bigger well-known exchanges." And here you are asking for reviews on another unknown exchange. I wonder how hard it is to just choose those exchanges that have long and solid track records.

Are you referring to margin trading? If you don't know how it works, you better avoid it. It's extremely risky.

"Usually" gives 20% profit in a matter of seconds? It's either you didn't get it right or you're dealing with a scam. You seem to be easily attracted to this get-rich-quick promise. You're prone to be a victim of scams. Those who promise you this are scammers.

Coinmarketcap isn't that strict in listing exchanges. If this exchange didn't even make it to that site, it's probably too small to trust.

Can you share the notification they have sent you because I doubt you are really here to get some help instead I think you are just trying to lure people into clicking on that website so they copy it or open it, it might be consists of harmful links or viruses. I am not accusing you its just, I have seen almost 3 cases till now that I remember of. And in the three of them, OPs said they deposited on some X exchange and now they are unable to withdraw funds from it. I mean, why you normies (don't mind) chose these exchanges which are new or have lesser traffic or are not listed on even CMC or CGC.

Huh Not sure what you mean by notification.  Do you mean the statement from customer support where they suspect me of arbitrage? I can post it if you want
One thing I am not is a liar or a cheat or a trickster. I will send my Facebook profile if you want more info. On PM.  I am not trying to hide anything. I got $$$  in this account.

I have not never used this exchange until now and that is why I prefer to use well-known exchanges that have a much better reputation. Usually when the exchange tries to delay a transaction or suspects arbitrage, there is a possibility that an error occurred in the KYC process that you carried out, where there is no identity match. It could also be because the KYC process you have to complete is not complete, that's just an assumption because I personally have never used the exchange.

There are many exchanges that have a good reputation in the crypto industry and although we agree that exchanges are not a safe place to store coins. I prefer an exchange that has a good reputation for buying and selling because its features will be much more complete and quite easy to use.

I did not have to do a KYC, like Crypto or Coinbase and Kraken.
Do other exchanges do 100:1 levered margins on your deposited position?. But if I can’t withdraw it then it’s not doing much good

Hello
Anybody have any reviews on this site? Saw some bad and good reviews in my google searches. It’s supposed to be backed by Schwab and fidelity.

They have this short  term trade positions where you say wether it’s going to go up or down. For 40secs it usually gives 20% profit and more as the time gets longer.
Are there many sites that do this?  Crypto does something crudely like it but for only small sums of $’s

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

Well it’s not listed here in the above site
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange withdrawal issues on: December 13, 2023, 12:52:08 AM
I dont think so if this is a way for the user to promote the exchange he is using based on the history of OP.
I recommend using a well-known exchange rather than taking a risk with this platform with your asset. Also, why not provide the other details and also if you committed a transaction a tx id must be given to you, and you can check this too to the blockchain if there's a confirmation or not.

Thanks again to Everyone for all the feedback.  I am not sure about this site and still hoping

I was led there by a FB friend. Started in edxmarkets.com which is supposed to be backed by Schwab and fidelity. Transfered funds to bank and then to other sites with no issues. Maybe that’s the come on.

Are you referring to the etherium hashtag number above?  That was concerning my first post on USDM to USDT where I lost 1000 cause a coinbase rep said it would work. Which it did not. It was claimed that this failed transaction contributed to the “arbitration”  suspicions about me. They knew about the failed transaction to coinbase without me telling them.  Plus I took 18k out then put it back in.

We’ll still hoping here

Not sure how to do multi quotes here or I would have done so
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange withdrawal issues on: December 13, 2023, 12:32:30 AM
Never heard of this name.

From the case and name it seems like a centralized exchange, if it is buddy what else you can expect from such a platform? Sad to hear ou lost some of the amount, I'm sure there's no way to get back else opening a full-time case in the reputation board if any of the team members visit the open discussion they may refund you for fear of losing reputation hehe the reputation to scam other in future as well with big amounts.

Buddy thanks for posting it here but I think you should move to the reputation board, with some proof to guide other user of not suing such platforms. Many of the forum fellows already recommended it and I do endorse this as well.

[/quote

Thank you for all the feedback. Definitely have my doubts now but will see. Still hoping.

I did not readily see the reputation board.?  Is it this https://www.cryptoreviewboard.com/

The site does have regulation agreements with Cyprus, Singapore and Australia. Customer service sent me the documents. I did empty the account of 18k to my trust wallet. But it ended out being USDM. Which was discussed in my first post in the Altcoin section with title USDM to USDT. I also withdrew 1800 as a test to bank. I mean dealing with USDM is not easy. So I sent the 18k back to the site. And now it’s stuck there.
