141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reliable is crypto payment? on: July 02, 2020, 01:28:29 AM
I thought about the use of cryptocurrency by merchants for day to day trade settlement. When combined with fiat, it gives customers a lot of options and flexibility to chose how they transact. On the flip side, I am also thinking that crypto volatility could poss a lot of dangers and issues when adopting crypto for payment.

What do you think about the future of cryptocurrency payment, will conventional altcoin (non-stablecoins) have a chance or the race will solely be won by stablecoins?

The world has switched to digital, including in terms of payment or transaction. Cryptocurrency is still fluctuating in price, but as an alternative payment and investment, I think cryptocurrency will continue to grow both in terms of technology and price
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm new here,what is altcoin on: July 02, 2020, 01:24:55 AM
I heard the knowledge of bitcoin (btc)and ETH since 2016 and i want to know the difference between altcoin and BTC and ETH.

and how influential is altcoin because beginners that ask question is really or interested to know which I am willing to know.

I know some people will react to this topic violently and some will respond with manner,
I am here to know what i don't know because I believe that knowledge is power and also the beginning of success.

Even though ethereum is ranked 2nd coinmarketcap, in my opinion ethereum is still altcoin. Coins or tokens are said to be altcoin because Bitcoin is a pioneer in the world of cryptocurrency and hereinafter referred to as altcoin. In my opinion, some altcoins have prospects because with the increasingly high price of Bitcoin, it makes investors interested in speculating on altcoin
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: June 30, 2020, 11:59:49 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

Bounty campaign whose tokens have already been listed on the exchanger I think will slightly affect the price in the market. Investors will wait for tokens to be dumped by bounty hunters and I think this is reasonable because investors will definitely try to buy at cheap prices. For hunters, campaigns whose tokens have already been listed on the exchanger will be profitable because they don't have to wait long for distribution or selling tokens.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: June 30, 2020, 11:55:56 PM
I have never been interested in tokens that say they are backed up with gold because in my opinion it is security and should get permission from the appropriate authorities. If we want to invest in gold, I think it's better to buy physical gold than just in the form of a portfolio because to avoid fraud and such
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: June 29, 2020, 10:24:12 PM
Maybe some altcoin seems to have begun to look upward movement. Altcoin, which is in the top 50 in my opinion is good for investment and maybe some can be used as long-term investments other than Bitcoin. Choosing altcoin that has been traded in large exchangers and also has a large market cap value needs to be considered and I think coins with a large community can also be an option
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new project team can afford top exchanges on: June 29, 2020, 10:20:33 PM
I'm glad we have IEO for new projects to raise funds successful after ICO did lots of damages to investors trust but that's not all, I want something that can help new upcoming projects to raise funds easily, for IEO if you don't have enough money for top exchanges there is 70% chances that you will come out with a bad result...

What do you think could solve this? New Fund raising?

The growing popularity of IEO makes many new exchangers who do IEO and this in my opinion requires caution. Large exchangers will certainly carry out rigorous verification of projects that are listed, while small exchangers sometimes do IEO too often so that they seem just to get a fee
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: June 29, 2020, 10:17:04 PM
altcoins are great for flipping for more btc but dont every marry a coin. When btc goes on a run past all time highs you dont want to be bagholding ALTS. You will watch them get crushed. I personally was bagholding alts from 4k-20K and they got demolished I even had friends saying man you must be doing well with those bitcoins you have Cheesy In the end alts went nuts and I did well but If I would have waited till BTC topped out I would have made more. So moral of the story there is dont marry a coin/project they and watch your btc shrink get in and get out after you make decent profits. Sure sometimes you can buy an alt an maybe 10x-100x on it bagholding, but there is 1000s of coins out there that wont make those type of gains. Anyway do whats best for you but dont be that guy married to a bag watching btc head to 50-100k or whatever the top might be

Agree, altcoin might be more profitable if we choose the right altcoin but altcoin is also more risky than Bitcoin. I think we should not be tied to a particular altcoin because altcoin prices are more volatile and maybe some can be a long-term investment but it should be given a portion of the investment that is not too much
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 28, 2020, 11:58:45 PM
There is also not that much of a care for it neither, there are so many people and so many exchanges with countless doge that they do not care about, it is not store of value or it is not trade worthy or it is not even that much importance in any part of crypto at all.

It means there is no reason for it to go down, people do not think it is a scam, people do not think it will make them billionaires, people do not think about it at all. That causes most of doge in the world to stay in wallets and not move at all, most of it is actually in cold storage of exchanges probably. That is why I believe at the end of the day if you are not cared at all that will cause you to stay around the same price. If there was care on it and there was love or hate for it the price would have changed accordingly but people are ignoring it.

Agree, people use dogecoin as a transfer tool because of its low cost and not use it as an investment asset for the long term. The price of Dogecoin against USD tends to follow Bitcoin and I think this is what makes Dogecoin able to survive even though initially only as a meme
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I won't bet on this on: June 28, 2020, 04:17:02 PM
PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......
if paypal provides new features for integration into crypto currencies, especially Bitcoin, I'm sure this is good for the future of Bitcoin, because maybe Bitcoin can become a new payment tool going forward, this is really good news

PayPal is a legal financial platform and if implementing crypto, I think it will have a big impact on the prices of some popular cryptos. The price of Bitcoin may break above the highest price if that happens.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 28, 2020, 04:13:38 PM
For Newbie How check Which bounty program is good or which one is Scammed and i have heard that many good ICO still not launching there coins

To see whether the campaign is a scam or not, I will look at the reputation of the bounty manager managing the bounty campaign. The Bounty manager will do the initial verification about the project and I think besides that it is a practical way. In addition, we can see from the developer team behind the project but I think it is difficult to see their background
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE NEXT ETH?? on: June 27, 2020, 11:29:12 PM
One of Ethereum's advantages compared to the others is it is used by most projects in cryptocurrency. Besides being easy to use for business, ethereum is actively traded on exchangers and I think some coins can be the next ethereum, but it still takes a long time
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: June 27, 2020, 11:24:02 PM
POLY and HBAR, I think it's good to hold in a year or more. In addition to having a large community, both tokens have a large marketcap value and are actively traded in the market. In addition to the two tokens, I think we still have tokens that we can choose altcoin with prices under $ 0.1 at large exchangers like Binance and have 100x potential in the future.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: June 27, 2020, 12:11:21 AM
Each person will have different ratings on several coins and I think this is reasonable. There are those who look at the speed of the transaction, but there are those who look at the liquidity side and I think there are still many factors that need to be considered in evaluating the performance and technology of the coin.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: June 26, 2020, 04:34:11 PM
It is quite surprising that Binance is not on this list, Binance is a leading exchange in this market and the price of BNB also has a lot of hype, and they also have a lot of investors supporting the project.

Maybe Binance is the most popular and biggest exchanger at the moment, but its popularity is still less than ethereum. Ethereum or Litecoin is still popular because it is traded on almost all exchangers and although BNB Coin has great liquidity, I think the BNB Coin has a function of being a native token exchanger
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to decide on: June 26, 2020, 04:30:21 PM
Hey guys,

So I'm pretty new currently own some Ada, Vechain, ZIL RSR and Flexacoin.  Considering exchanging one of these for Dent, and maybe BAT.
I'm not into Bitcoin really but looking for a high reward possibility coin.  ANy insight or thoughts on any of these? or any high reward/risk ones you guys like?
I don't have a huge amount invested, but thinking about just going all in on Cardano and just holding to save the stress of looking any different ones.

WOuld love any tips or suggestions.  I like CHarles- Cardano alot, I really get the vibe they are onto something big....

In my opinion, Bitcoin is still a safe choice in investing in the cryptocurrency market. Maybe altcoin can generate huge profits but the risk is even greater than when we hold Bitcoin. But if you want to invest in altcoin, in my opinion altcoin which is in the top 100 coinmarketcap is quite safe because it has considerable liquidity and is actively traded on exchangers
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: June 14, 2020, 11:50:10 PM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

I think you can get up again and not despair. The world of investment, including the world of cryptocurrency, can provide benefits as well as losses and if we experience losses, we can learn from that experience. I think almost everyone has experienced losses both in the form of cheats and investment losses
A bad experience is one reason why some traders and investors leave in crypto and think that this is just a scam. What OP has got is really disappointing but living in this crypto world with high-risk investment, we can't really avoid it. But at first, before we invest in certain project ICO/IEO we should also have to take a look into the capability of this project not just because they offer big returns because it is only a lie, a tricky thing that most people have got into badly. Scammers will always cheat and so they still exist because they could still find their prey.

Agree with this opinion. Crypto becomes more risky when the value is higher and the chance of a bigger scam. People will make use of the crypto efuoria by launching their own projects with the aim of just cheating and needing high vigilance to be able to detect them
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENT SAFTY TIPS on: June 14, 2020, 11:46:45 PM
Dear Team,
For Every New Trader It's Time Very Critical Due to Corona Virus All Globally impact All over World High Unemployment Some people looking idea how to earnings online or digital crypto currencies My Suggestion is Everyone people keep full research after investing any coin hold good coin u profitable future time is cryptocurrency.
Safety tips For hacking any scammer not loosing your money
1.Never Share  Publicly Email Address.
2.Use Top 3 Exchange by Coinmarket cap rank.
3.Use 2FA Security Exchange And Email.
4.Never Share Your Personal Details Like Phone and Email.
5.Change Password Every Months And Use All special Characters.

I agree with the above points and I think it is necessary to be vigilant to secure our crypto assets. There have been many examples of crypto theft and by storing email or other data, then at least the chance for crypto theft is getting smaller. 2FA needs to be used and we should back it up so that at any time we don't panic when our mobile is damaged or lost
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any use for failed cryptos? on: June 14, 2020, 12:54:07 AM
Nothing to do with this kind of projects are they are abandoned , flagged as scams and no one will ever touch them again. If you find yourself in the position of holding dead coins , just move on and sell if you can as whatever loss as time won't bring any value to them and by doing a quick search on cmc or here on this forum you will find out that there are tons of dead projects so learn from that and never invest again in no name projects.

Keep your btc safe.

Agree, when holding a coin that has indicated a scam, we should immediately sell at any price because it will be useless if we hold it for some time to come. It is better to cut loss than we experience greater losses and this is one of the risks in investing in any market.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: June 14, 2020, 12:49:32 AM
Warning strictly for Newbies!!!

Do not ever try or think about getting loan or borrowing money to trade altcoins or invest, the damage will be so disastrous, many did this mistake in 2017 when all crypto coins are booming but I can tell you that until today they are still in heavy debt, losing your hard-earned money is better than losing loan money, imagine the frustrations Huh

Crypto investment is a high risk investment plan and they only way to get by is investing only what you can afford to lose... take my advise and let it sink in your head.

Investing should use our idle money because any type of investment is clearly risky. Borrowing money from banks to speculate in the cryptocurrency market has a high risk and should be avoided so that we do not get into trouble in the future. There are many ways to get altcoin and one way is to follow a bounty campaign if we don't have enough money to invest
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 14, 2020, 12:46:23 AM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.

Agree that saving altcoin for the long term is futile. But in my opinion, there are some altcoins to be reckoned with and can be used as long-term investments. Projects that can be used as long-term investments are projects that already have a large marketcap value and have an active transaction volume in the market and usually have products that can generate revenue for the company
