1102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Really Causing Environmental Damage? Maybe not that much... on: August 26, 2018, 03:42:46 AM
I am believe electricity consumption for bitcoin mining not too much. Not more than 1% from electricity global supply. Beside that, right now many alternative energy and friendly energy that used by miners
1103  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: August 25, 2018, 01:03:02 PM
I believe that Cryptocurrency will change the financial system. The biggest change it brings  is that you do need third party (banks)
and it is accessible for everybody. (only internet and a mobile needed)

I am agree that crypto will change our way to make bussiness. Cryptocurrency offering transparancy system and i am believe can change financial system. With internet connection, right now we can make transaction with more fast and with cryptocurrency, we can make transaction more cheaper than using fiat money
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 25, 2018, 12:59:36 PM
Ethereum is good coin and i think having potential to be profitable coin. Ethereum highest price at $1400 and current price at $280, its more than 80% lower and i think its good time for buying ethereum.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: August 25, 2018, 12:55:57 PM
The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

Many peoples want to make quick profits from their investment. I am agree that price determined by sell and buy but if many peoples hold their coin, circulating supply in market will reduced and people hope with limited supply in market, price will rising
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: August 25, 2018, 12:51:59 PM
Does security and safetyness important to you? If yes then KYC is important like your security. It provides you own protection to your tokens.
Given that you give some of your information , the ico founder just wanted to distribute all your tokens to corresponding owner.

I am agree KYC is for security of our fund. Many scam ICOs and to prevent that government regulation require KYC for every ICOs. Its good for investor because KYC will reducing scam ICOs from cryptomarket
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: August 25, 2018, 12:48:07 PM
I am believe cryptocurrency market will growing more bigger and i dont think to quit from investing on crypto. When market drop, most people dont have motivation to continue but we can take benefits from it because most token/coin price have lower price
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin must be regulated! on: August 20, 2018, 12:29:58 PM
When you want bitcoin to be regulated you haven't understood the actual idea of decentralization. Regulation will lose faith in the cryptocurrency idea.

Regulation does not effect on decentralized system. Regulation from government just for transaction in country because we still can transaction using bitcoin across the world. Regulation needed for government because government want to collect taxes
1109  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Blockchain Says It’s Adding 50k Users Per Day on: August 20, 2018, 12:22:51 PM
I think more peoples having bitcoin wallet is good. Its a sign that bitcoin getting more popular and people want to buying bitcoin for their investment. Beside that, more people having bitcoin more transaction in market and i am believe increasing liquidity in market
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin End Goal on: August 20, 2018, 12:19:20 PM
What is your Bitcoin End Goal?

Is it to get billionaire by it? Or to use bitcoin for all your transactions one day?
These are just two examples, not the only choices of course.

Share what is your End Goal with bitcoin?

My goal with bitcoin is making extra money from my investment on it. Its hard to use bitcoin for transaction in merchant these days because in my country, bitcoin banned if used for currency. I am prefer using bitcoin as my investment or my store of value
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is free to use Bitcoin as they want on: August 20, 2018, 12:15:56 PM
There's an ongoing debate in and outside of Bitcoin community regarding the economic nature of Bitcoin: is it a currency or an asset, a store of value, settlement layer and so on. The situation with ETF's also sparked some debates, as some argue that ETF's are bad and Bitcoin should stick to its cypherpunk roots and ignore the mainstream.

I think all sides kinda miss the point of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created so people can send coins directly to others, without any mandatory middleman. Therefore, every use case is as legit as any other use case, it doesn't violate the freedom of any other user of the network. It doesn't even matter if Satoshi wanted Bitcoin to be a decentralized currency that will kill banks, because one of the principles of Bitcoin is censorship resistance, so if some people want to use centralized services, want regulated environments, speculation and so on, it's their right. All those things have no effect on people who want to use Bitcoin as an alternative currency.

So, I think there is no single answer to whether Bitcoin is an asset or a currency, everyone decides for themselves, because freedom is the ultimate point of Bitcoin.

Every person have their own argument about bitcoin. In my opinion, bitcoin can be used as an asset and can used as currency. Its depending on government regulation i think, if regulated by government, i am believe merchant will accepting bitcoin as currency
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: August 20, 2018, 12:09:09 PM
Personally I don't think that Bitcoin is a bubble. But right now I am absolutely sure that by the end of spring in the next year it will cost cheaper that 3000$. That's why in my opinion right now it is too early to invest in Bitcoin.
We can see later is it true as you say prices will plummet to Bitcoin $3000.
I personally see the opposite of you say, I am sure the price of Bitcoin will rise again in the end of years later.

I am agree that bitcoin price will rising again. At this market condition, bitcoin still safest investment in cryptomarket and price still above $6000 and i am believe when Wall street start trade bitcoin, price will reach above $10k again and maybe reach highest price
1113  Economy / Economics / Re: Success of an investment may not be true to all? on: August 19, 2018, 09:31:25 AM
Investments in crypto is always very risky. So if someone is investing a part of his savings in crypto, he should be ready to take this risk. And the second most important thing is to stay away from panic selling.

Most investment in any instrument always have risk. Cryptocurrency is high risk investment because crypto still unregulated market and unregulated investment. In any investment, some investment makes profits and some dont, its very usual. Thats why we should use money that we can afford to lose
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the New Economy, we are only at the very beginning on: August 19, 2018, 09:27:21 AM
Bitcoin is revolutionary system to change our current economic system. Our economic system always fall and creating crisis and thats why bitcoin created on decentralized system. Bitcoin at early ages and its need time for growing and i am believe bitcoin system will adopted by government even looks impossible
1115  Economy / Economics / Re: How to cope up with the falling prices? on: August 19, 2018, 09:24:01 AM
There are just couple of question I need some answering from people with enough experience in crypto.

Any particular tips on when to invest token when the prices are low?
And how can one manage to hold the tokens even the prices are bleeding?
Is there a specific time where one can pinpoint the best way to accumulate tokens?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I think even expert can not recomended anything. The best they can make is making prediction and decision is depending on ourself. When price are low, if that coin/token having good product and i am already hold it at higher price, i will accumulate my bags because i am believe on the project
1116  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 19, 2018, 09:20:20 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

If we transaction on merchant with crypto, merchant must be keep our transaction record and hiding our wallet address. I think its just a minor problem that should not worry. Crypto need long time to replace fiat because many government still not accepting crypto for payment
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: August 19, 2018, 09:17:11 AM
When you take a look at CMC,the prices coins moving down every now and then. This becomes a very good time to invest in ICO's so I intend to make purchases of coins and hodl for the future.
This can always be a dangerous action if you dont even have any idea when will the bull market come or will the price comeback to the ATH again.
There has never been a guarantee that bitcoin will comeback to the ATH, even though i have confidence about that.

But if we believe the coin having good project and working product. I think its worth to collect. Most altcoin price drop more than 90% and i think its good time for buying. Indeed we never know when market recovery, but holding good altcoin with working product makes me more relax
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: August 18, 2018, 01:26:31 AM
Its very normal for cryptocurrency having high volatile price. But if we saw on history price, crypto is worth to hold for long term and its profitable. I think ethereum not dead because its working product and used by most token in market. Market will recover again i am believe
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who hate altcoins ;) mostly eth on: August 18, 2018, 01:23:30 AM
I dont hate Ethereum because Ethereum platform used by most token in market. I think ethereum is good coin and can hold for long term and able to compete with bitcoin in market cap value.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: August 18, 2018, 01:19:51 AM
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?

I am always believe that cryptocurrency is long term investment. Like bitcoin price history, bitcoin price always extremely volatile but if we hold it for long term i am believe its profitable. And I am believe in altcoin too because many altcoin having good project and working product
