381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: January 20, 2020, 06:46:43 AM
It's always you who's responsible for this. For instance, I store all my funds in my Freewallet app and I have 2fa and PIN set, so it's almost impossible to steal my coins.
OP taking example by using coinbase which is centralized exchange providing online wallet. you don't have the private key to access your account and all is stored within the exchange wallet. If security breach happens, the exchange will be the one who take the blame. Frankly, there are some wallets floating around google play store or any mobile apps that are actually exchange wallet. OP's case could be the best reference to deal with those wallet.

Agree, if the event is in the exchanger and occurs on all accounts, then the exchanger should be responsible for compensating the loss suffered by the customer. On the other hand, customers or investors should not keep coins or tokens in the exchanger because they do not hold control over the coins or tokens so that in my opinion it is better to store them in our own wallet
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: January 19, 2020, 02:21:56 AM
It's impossible to guess or forecast the worst, but I hold bitcoin because there's a huge network in this coin, which means that many won't be so easy to part with. I don't see the void in front of altcoins, but it's all upside down. Unfortunately, if bitcoin has a terrible problem that would make it go down very badly then altcoins could get large.

Hopefully 2020 is different from 2019 and I hope 2020 will be a good year for Bitcoin or altcoin. Right now the price of Bitcoin is above $ 9,000 and I think this is a good sign at the beginning of the year. People who accumulate Bitcoin at low prices and believe that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency will get a profit
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: January 19, 2020, 02:18:44 AM
The best Altcoin that I think is worth collecting is altcoin which is in the top 50. Top 50 coin marketcaps describe liquidity and also investor interest in the cryptocurrency market. Investors will definitely choose altcoin which has great liquidity and also listings in large exchangers and in my opinion the top 50 can meet the wishes of investors
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An uncertain future of Libra! Is it good for the crypto traders? on: January 19, 2020, 02:14:03 AM

"What is Libra? A currency, a derivative, a security, a commodity pool or etc.? Lack of clarity in asset class is one of the regulatory challenges to launch this big initiative by Facebook. Cash withdrawal system is also a big challenge! Cell networks, working with retailers and others to sell consumers products can help them in this case" - This analysis is done by Coindesk.

What's your opinion?

Another thing,

A report by QZ says that, Libra will not launch in 2020, the US election year. https://qz.com/1778527/2020-predictions-for-bitcoin-libra-and-the-digital-yuan/amp/

So, is it good for the crypto traders? What is the future of it? Want to hear from the experts.

It might take longer for Libra to launch because there are many inhibiting factors and one of them is politics. If Libra was launched, the American government certainly did not want the dollar's dominance to be disrupted on the world market and their dominance in the monetary world. The presence or absence of Libra in my opinion does not significantly influence the cryptocurrency market
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: January 19, 2020, 02:10:56 AM
The main reason towards poor market price of a project is not only caused by shit exchanges but also from the project itself. How can a particular project has about 10billion circulating supply and expect a miracle from her investors. The supply is always much, whereby the demand is few. That's the main issue facing altcoin irrespective of the exchange

In my opinion, supply is no longer an issue because if we look at TRX or XRP, their supply is the most but investors are still hunting because of liquidity. Listing in a large exchanger has an psychological effect on investors because in my opinion it is related to liquidity and this will affect investor interest
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 18, 2020, 09:18:45 AM
It's actually impossible for cryptocurrency to be independent of the mainstream market. The individuals and projects who make up the cryptocurrency industry are also involved in the mainstream markets and that makes the both industry interwoven.

The cryptocurrency market, in particular Bitcoin is already known by many people not only by large investors. With the increasingly mainstream cryptocurrency market, prospective investors are increasingly convinced that cryptocurrency is not a scam as they have always heard and I think this is an opportunity because cryptocurrency has the opportunity to grow even greater
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around on: January 18, 2020, 09:15:35 AM
Deep research about the coin is the key to avoid being scam because scammers are so greedy. If the coins whitepaper was good enough then go for more research before going deal with it. So For me, don't rush things about entering or investing into a newly found project, long time researching is really needed. But as ther market has alot of coins to offer i cam recommend this coin that has a good potential and this is the ACI COIN.

I have learned that scammers have their own way too for them to look like a very legit project, they were very wise now too compare too, they also evolved their way to scam people, they are even launching platform but in fact they are just buying it in some developer that was failed before so they can show the community that they were legit.

Agree that scam coins sometimes have projects that look legit and are able to fool potential investors. To invest in new projects, in my opinion we really need to be vigilant because sometimes it is difficult to distinguish legit projects from scam projects.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: January 18, 2020, 09:12:34 AM
I don't know what happened with the Ethereum, why this coin's price is not growing that much? Without Bitcoin pumping, Ethereum can't grow a bit. Where BCH or even BSV price keeps pumping like the bull run! Now, 1 BSV coin's price is more than double of 1 Ethereum. I am a holder of Etherem, but day by day I am being frustrated by holding it, it's price is far lower than 200 USD! Unbelievable. What do you think guys? Should I convert my ETH into BSV or BCH for more profit?

If I have to choose between Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH) and BSV, then I prefer BCH and Ethereum as my long-term investment. Maybe in recent days the price of BSV has gone up but in my opinion it's only a short and short term. Ethereum and BCH are more reliable after some time ago there was a conflict in BSV
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will any new project will do payment with ETH ? on: January 18, 2020, 09:08:51 AM
some time lately, I have seen several projects making payments using ETH. I did not say that new projects will die but they might use this alternative, so my conclusion is whether this will be a new era in 2020 where all projects will make payments using ETH or other coins that are already on the market, or is it just a coincidence that they use this method, to avoid a very drastic decline in value when listing on the market?
the initial appearance of IEO was also ignored but it boomed in mid-2019.
share your opinion, any advice will be apreciate  Smiley

The team developer is definitely considering giving rewards to participants and one of them is to pay using Ethereum and I think this is an effective way to attract bounty hunters. Paying with Ethereum does not mean they do not believe in the project itself but one of the marketing strategies in marketing the project
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 14, 2020, 12:28:09 PM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins

In my opinion, altcoin still has a chance to make it big even though it's hard to rival Bitcoin. Not all altcoins can be great because competition is very fierce and is influenced by many things and one of them is a product. If altcoin has a product that can be adopted in the real world, I think altcoin is able to survive and might have a chance to get a large market cap
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 13, 2020, 09:31:27 AM
I'm a little relieved entering 2020. Bitcoin has touched $8000. Hopefully a good step for the future. 2020 needs improvement on crypto market. Investors and traders will have new spirit and trust if they find good things this year.

Hopefully 2020 will be a good year because there is a Bitcoin halving moment and this moment can be an attraction for new investors. With the current unfavorable global economic conditions, I think the cryptocurrency market will be an alternative investment and hopefully this year is better than last year
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 12, 2020, 02:45:16 AM
The advent of Bitcoin's blockchain technology has opened up a world of possibilities that were never imagined. People can finally achieve financial freedom by being their own bank anytime, anywhere. In 2017, there was the ICO boom where crypto land was filled with hype with many companies launching their own business ventures. Everything has been about smart contracts, on-chain privacy, and Blockchain-based gaming. But ever since prices started to decline back in 2018, there has been a lost of interest into crypto and Blockchain tech from people in the mainstream world.

It's now 2020, where many exciting events are yet to come. Bitcoin will experience another reduction in its block reward (halving), while Ethereum becomes closer to adopting PoS into its blockchain network. The space is definitely maturing, but the level of demand is still a lot less than it was back in 2017.

Nonetheless, I'm curious to know what's the next big thing in crypto? Huh

The big thing that might happen in the crypto market is that many countries are starting to publish their own cryptocurrency. If this happens, there is an opportunity for adoption of cryptocurrency that is well known to the public and this might make the cryptocurrency market excited again and Bitcoin can be a safe haven asset like gold
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is dead these days, what next in the market? STO? IEO? on: January 12, 2020, 02:42:11 AM
In the last 2 years ICO has gone upto peak level with many projects.
Now ICO market is completely gone because of 90% projects fallen into scam category.
Many startups made huge money and in return they pay nothing.
So whats new these days as a trusted token offering model?

As ICO has dimmed, IEO appears to be an alternative for investors but gradually, many IEOs have problems or prices have fallen after the initial listing. STO in my opinion there has not been an encouraging development of investors and I think the best alternative right now is to invest in coins that are already established in the market
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: January 12, 2020, 02:38:20 AM
I think the safe choice for current market conditions is to keep Bitcoin. The current condition of altcoin is not good and many IEO or ICO prices have fallen after the initial listing on the exchanger. Maybe IEO can be an alternative but it should be used as a short-term investment.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we review 2019? Please leave few things you achieved or lost in crypto on: January 12, 2020, 02:34:29 AM
I think the lesson I learned in 2019 was to sell altcoin which did not have a large transaction volume because it was potentially detrimental. The fall in prices for many altcoins in 2019 provides a lesson that not all altcoins are worthy of being used as investment tools
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: January 11, 2020, 07:03:02 AM
ICO is never coming back no matter how much you hoped for it to, any new project that tries to use ICO to raise fund will be generally disappointed because they won't get near softcap at all, for IEO it's been said hundreds of time already to stay with Top exchanges
I think that during the next months or years we are going to begin to see a lack of interest in investing in ieos as well because even if you decide to invest in the ieos that are taking place in exchanges with very good reputations that doesn't really mean that you're going to get profits with those projects.

And profits are what every single investor in this market wants to get and since it is impossible to give them a guarantee that they are going to get those profits and with the high failure rate of ieos then the interest to invest in those projects is going to decrease significantly.
Indeed, there is no guarantee that all investments will get a profit, including IEO on exchangers with large volumes. And I think you are right that one day IEO will die just like the ICO that investors have begun to abandon.

I don't think IEO or ICO will die as long as new projects are still popping up. For the developer team, ICO or IEO is the fastest way to collect project funding funds, but maybe in the future there will be a more efficient method of selling tokens. IEO still plays an important role right now for investors and the developer team because investors need a place to speculate and the developer team needs funds
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: January 11, 2020, 06:59:03 AM
If seen from the graph above, it shows that the ICO project from January 2018 to January 2020, the level of ICO projects has declined. but i don't think that the ico project will die. the fact is in this forum or BOUNTY still exists, even there are still many new projects that have appeared, it's just that not all the projects that still appear can be profitable for investment.

ICOs will still exist but their numbers will decrease significantly. Investors will prefer to invest in IEO especially IEO organized by large exchangers. The large number of ICOs that fail to reach the target or scam, affecting the interests of investors and investors will definitely choose the safe path of IEO in large exchangers
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: January 11, 2020, 06:55:41 AM
Binance, one of the big exchangers, has provided direct transactions with fiat money and I think stable coins will slowly reduce their transactions. More and more exchangers provide direct transaction facilities with fiat money, I think investors will prefer this path because it is easier and safer
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: January 11, 2020, 06:52:25 AM
I've been following the trend news of central banks creating their own digital currencies but a question have since then troubling my mind.

1. These new Central Bank coins are they going to be stable coins or not?
2. What will happen if they are not stable coins? If holding them will be profitable many will leave crypto space and focus on these new coins?
3. Maybe people will just use them as a plus since it's from the government?
4. Will regulations still come after this? I think other coins will be neglected and regulations will only be for coins from government?

I think coins originating from central banks can still be called fiat money because their supplies are controlled by the central bank and only other forms of paper money. The central bank can still increase supply in the market and I think there is no supply limit for this coin because the role of the central bank is to balance the value of the currency
