382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 15, 2024, 03:03:05 PM
My hope is that Real Madrid can bring in Mbappe in Summer and that Barcelona will finally get out of their financial distress and can build a great team again. For now the El Clasico isn't the same as it used to be. I watched every single one of those Clasicos when Messi was still playing for Barcelona. Now I am not that excited anymore except in some games when they face each other in Copa del Rey or something. But we have to be true to ourselves and this includes to acknowledge that we will probably not get to see a Ronaldo-Messi like competition again in La Liga. I remember this year when Messi scored 50 goals and I think Ronaldo had 46. How on earth would that happen again? Smiley It's spectacular when two strikers get close to 40 goals in the same season and are fighting for all the titles. But two strikers getting close to 50? Probably not in my lifetime again.
Mbappe comes to Real Madrid then Vinicius must be removed, if you do this then it is ridiculous, but this is just a rumor.
If Barcelona is to avoid financial difficulties then the ESL competition must take place there Barcelona will get a lot of money.

Speaking of Ronaldo and Messi, we must realize that they are old and it is time to regenerate with young players, and in my opinion the El Clasico match is still hot, it's just that this is the host arab so the atmosphere is less unless playing at the Bernabeu or at Camp Nou then the atmosphere will be different.

Now the two super stars will only be remembered for their time when playing in Europe first.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 15, 2024, 02:03:38 PM
Are you referring to parlay? Because what I brought is not about parlay, but making many single bets on a regular basis, like a daily basis.
There are so many sports bets that if you know all of them, it may be easier to choose the favorite team in single bets every day, but when it comes to talking about parlay, 3 multi is enough because if there are too many, it will be difficult to reach the victory.

But think back to which one you like including favorite sports that are easy to analyze if I myself am football then I will bet on the favorite team that is sure this is not every day because it can be counted how the match every week is not the same.

But I'm sure you will like the quantity more because you want more wins, for example 10 stump bets that win 7 then you will still be profitable.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin ETF have any impact on the bitcoin price? on: January 15, 2024, 01:22:16 PM
Not only since the approval of the ETF will immediately jump, of course there will be a process where bitcoin can rise again, I only know where the news reported that Vanguard blocked its clients from buying bitcoin ETFs so this might slightly trigger the price of bitcoin down.

I think now is not the time, the same thing with halving will not immediately rally, I feel this is a good opportunity to buy more bitcoin because this way in my opinion should be utilized when the price is high it will think buy too high.

So the impact will be later when it has been running for a long time.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 14, 2024, 08:11:26 PM
Man U vs Spurs is probably unpredictable until the end of the match... Both clubs play not stable, but now they managed to score two goals each... Now the chances of one of the teams winning are about the same... It will be funny if there will be a draw...
I was expecting more goals to come in this game when they were playing 1-1 draw after a few minutes of the game, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are exercising equal strength in this game, and the result of this match is beginning to look clearer how it is likely going to end a point share, 2-2 draw.
Yeah the 2-2 score was already a lot of goals but so far Manchester United, who had taken the lead in the first half, couldn't keep it after the second half match had just started Bentancur scored right in front of Onana and it was clearly difficult for the goalkeeper to keep out such a hard kick.

I think the draw was worth it for them because we know how Manchester United can't be consistent but when playing with a big team they can always score two goals but when playing a team below them, it's still difficult to see this theory.

I pay attention to the EPL standings, it turns out that Chelsea is already close to only one point difference, it could be that the Blues overtake it. Grin
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin [BTC] Price Could Reach $1.5 Million by 2030 Says Cathie Wood on: January 14, 2024, 04:34:37 PM
I wouldn't be surprised to see some CEO's say about the future price of bitcoin with predictions that are a little bit crazy, not that I don't believe it but it's too big and he often says on predictions that are always changing due to the approval of ETFs even increasing his predictions.
It's everyone's personal opinion how he sees Bitcoin, so his prediction is also his personal and if he thinks Bitcoin has that future potential then it's a matter of time to see how long it takes for his prediction to come true. There was a time when there was doubt that Bitcoin would cross the $10000 price but it has crossed that and now Bitcoin is trading at a much higher price. But yes, it is still too early to consider whether Bitcoin will reach this target of $1.5 million.

I am now eagerly waiting to see when bitcoin will cross the $100k target. The probability of Bitcoin going to $1.5 million in 2030 seems very low to me, because that is a very big target.
I know it's their personal opinion but when it's an institutional person in front of the media talking about it, it will become public speculation, actually this is not bad news considering their predictions are high not down so it's only natural that their predictions are too big even though it's just a prediction sometimes it's not right.

The proof is indeed waiting for time to arrive whether this will happen or not.

You agree with me that the $1.5M prediction is still low, still for me it's too high unless $500K might still be reasonable.
You're waiting for $100K, I'm just as eager to partially release at that price. LOL
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 14, 2024, 03:49:24 PM
It looks like a draw will be the final result between Everton and Aston Villa and this is a great point for both of them because Villa in this way will remain on 3rd place that will keep them near Liverpool and City and for Everton , this point is important to avoid relegation zone but I might say 3 points were kinda vital today for them. However , game is still not over and we have 20 minutes to go but like I said , a draw might be the final result here.  Smiley
A goalless game would have been boring, but as usual at the end there was always a chance to surprise them, so far Aston Villa are still pressing the game.

With a draw Aston Villa will be further away points between these clubs only Arsenal can overtake if it can not be maintained then Aston Villa will be displaced.
It is certain that the underdog team is difficult to survive in the top flight sometimes where they have difficulty winning with a team that is bad worthy of Everton.

While Everton are trying to stay away from relegation but their points are getting closer to relegation.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 14, 2024, 03:18:20 PM
The average annual income in sports betting gambling I don't know for sure because I didn't calculate it although I think the estimate will not be the same even more losing or winning.

But if the monthly income may be possible: I said $100+ is not a passive income sometimes always lose in betting for a month so this is not certain but always use a small capital in sports betting and rely on large odds for high wins that is expected even though it is difficult to win.

Even I won $500 for a month in sports betting but the following month lost $200 after calculating, so that's how I know it's uncertain so now use a small percentage for depositing into gambling.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to manage gambling winnings on: January 13, 2024, 08:48:30 PM
I'm not a successful sports bettor so these bets will remain as fun because honestly not being able to record good wins over a period of time let alone years, there's no bookkeeping whatsoever.

It's like you win consistently so being able to put aside 30% for two weeks is a good strategy in your betting because you can win and calculate the profit.

I don't have any strategy in gambling this will still be considered fun nothing more than that but if someone is able to do this then I say good move especially can save to the bank to get 4% APY return per year.

If I am like you then I will not put the winnings in a bank account because it is useless with an annual return while inflation is still high, I will choose another option where it is invested in Bitcoin as the best way to save money there.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 08:19:02 PM
According to this article, it is unwise to gamble more than 1% of your income monthly. So for a person earning $500 per month, the ideal amount you’re supposed to put aside for gambling is $5. I doubt many gamblers follow this advice. It seems impractical, how many games can one stake in a month with such small amounts?
Earning $500 per month and then gambling $5 for a month I think they will consider this bankroll not enough especially playing slots will not feel how the game feels except Sportsbook maybe can be $5 and earn in this bet still no guarantee will win.

I also wouldn't be wise with 1% still higher than that, so they won't follow any advice they will have their own comfort even though the monthly salary is small gambling still goes on.
So I will not blame anyone because each individual has a different bankroll, they also will not rely on the monthly salary alone when they have earned other sources of income then it will be made into a bankroll of more than 5%.
391  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: January 13, 2024, 07:56:51 PM
1 point is enough for Newcastle to play at St. James' Park against Manchester City? for me not enough. What do you think, is it enough or not?
Newcastle's worst record now they are experiencing 4x losing streak, this is clearly not profitable despite playing well at home but having to surrender also to Manchester City now they fail to secure points well, I think Eddie Howe has begun to threaten his position.

Massive game for both teams, this is. Newcastle need to try and stay in touch with the top 4 and Man City don’t want to fall further behind league leaders Liverpool.
Yes this match is fun to watch. Now the standings are getting tighter between Liverpool and Manchester City, Klopp must be able to keep the distance of points again must not make mistakes or lose points in every match.

To be honest I'm glad they keep talking about bitcoin with their predictions but for me it's too early even though we know no one can predict the future price of bitcoin it's just that our thoughts are too positive because the longer you hold the higher the bitcoin goes.

The only way is to buy then HODL until 2023 and prove it later, I think 6 years is a long time but when you forget it will feel like a minute. Grin
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I succeed as a trader in 2024 on: January 12, 2024, 05:31:29 PM
As we enter the 2024, many people are making plans on how to achieve financial success and personally I have decided that trading will be one of my area of focus. I'm gathering information on how to go about it. Your opinion will be highly appreciated.
Choosing financial success with trading is not easy because trading requires many things to pay attention to when doing it.
You can trade, but long term or I call it investment. Buy and hold until a certain time limit. Is it for a year or more or when the selling price has reached a large profit.
Be careful when choosing coins. Avoid coins that follow trends.
That is a difficult thing, if you start of course in trading will definitely experience losses and there are still many factors from the cause of the loss, then the success of trading feels a little more difficult but I believe there are people capable of doing that.

Trading requires a strong mentality while investing long-term I call it has little risk especially in bitcoin as long as he does not sell they will not lose, while choosing a coin on a trend then he might get into FOMO.
394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 12, 2024, 04:43:32 PM
I have been buying small amounts of bitcoin for over 10 years. While I was always knew bitcoin would grow I did hope that some events might make it jump up in price say 3 to 5 times. Events like etf approval, a harvening etc.
You have been buying bitcoin for 10 years with a small amount, of course you have gone through two cycles, right? Then you expect from the ETF approval event will jump bigger that you expect of course this is still no history unless you wait for the halving and wait for history to be carved again, so why expect more on the Bitcoin ETF news that you think will jump 5x more.

Does that mean the excitement days are over. Has bitcoin become boring in terms of big price fluctuations☹️
The excitement does not end you take too seriously before the halving occurs, fluctuations are natural in the movement of bitcoin, so you think bitcoin is too bored, but is it bored with HODL for 10 years or what?
395  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [In Memoriam] Guess BTC price contest on: January 12, 2024, 04:24:31 PM

I would also like to congratulate the other winners for making this prediction contest run smoothly.

Thank you Gazeta, I will send BTC address in PM. Wink
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 12, 2024, 04:00:51 PM
No...! I will assume the former Governor doesn't like bitcoin, if he is pro then he will say otherwise.

Theoretically it might happen to zero price but not sure especially with large volumes, but practically bitcoin is still strong and difficult to dispose of especially now that it is traded at a high price.

So I say don't believe bitcoin back to zero.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: January 12, 2024, 03:34:31 PM
In last one decade we have too many African players in Premier League
Since players of African descent are better, I wouldn't be surprised if African players are more spread across many leagues, even the minor leagues always have African players.

Liverpool will not have Mohamed Salah but Tottenham will not have Son Heung-Min. They are both very important players for two teams but Liverpool have more attacking star players who can cover the absence of Salah. In contrast, Tottenham don't have such abundant substitutions and replacements like Liverpool and Son Heung-Min simply is almost can not replaced in their club.
Liverpool's attack will not diminish in Salah's absence, there is a list of other strikers who fill the void.
And also some of their midfield players are injured including some defenders Matip and Arnold, it might be a bit of a problem for Klopp.
https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpools-injury-list-suspensions-and-availability

Tottenham in Son Heung-Min's absence have Timo Werner coming in, but I'm not so sure he can perform in the same way as Son Heung-Min.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: January 11, 2024, 05:21:24 PM
I don’t agree with you mate completely. Where there is high risk and high return, it can be considered as gambling. In futures, similar concept is used where you need to trade and make profit in each and everyday. Yes knowledge is also important, but market and luck also plays an important factor also. You need to be lucky to do the correct market predictions and make profits from it. So yes in short futures can be considered as gambling only.
Does it mean that there is no difference in risky crypto investment with high returns can be considered gambling?
Then investing in low-risk gold is not gambling?

I would not consider futures trading as gambling especially if you say the luck factor of price prediction, still it is not a tool in analyzing prices they need several things to analyze the market or a coin that is being traded then the chances of profit will be greater.

If for example beginners do futures trading, then they do not understand then they can consider this future as gambling.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 11, 2024, 04:27:36 PM
Other people say the casino manages the finances, maybe it makes sense because this operation is entirely the casino running while they only pay the license to the provider about the percentage deal they will get, so I think the casino has the right to manage its customers' money.

Because it will be too complicated if the provider manages the finances, what about when the casino will organize a contest with a large enough prize does it have to be approved by the provider? I don't think that's possible.
400  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: January 11, 2024, 02:32:38 PM
Liverpool will have some challenging weeks with many disadvantages like injuries and absence of key players because of African and Asian Cups. This winning will help them to have some different options to prepare for a second-leg match with Fullham 2 weeks later on 25 January. League Cup is not too important with them compares to other big competitions, Premier League and Europa League.

With some injuries and risk of injuries from Salah and Endo because of international duties, Klopp will have to build up careful plan for Liverpool in next two months, this month and one month later when Salah and Endo returns to Anfield. Even those players return without injuries, he will have to give them one or two weeks to recover.
I hope Liverpool can overcome this challenge despite a few absentees and international duty, perhaps the hardest opponent over the next month will be Arsenal away but I think Klopp will devise the best strategy as long as they have little trouble.

The EFL Cup is not the least bit important, if Klopp is able to win this title then great, if not no big deal their focus will only be on the Premier League and Europa League.

That is what Klopp and his fans are worried about, they hope Salah after the competition does not have injury problems, because he is a player who is quite reliable for Liverpool in important matches.
