HYDRO should contact SOLVE.  PPL in SOLVE asking for 2FA security.  Golden opportunity....

EDIT:  Never mind, was mentioned.  Smiley

After such Vitalik statements ETH can remove from Coinbase, and all will start to move to the ETC

What did Vitalik say? is he quiting ETH?

that PoW is bad and centralized exchanges will burn in hell. However, governments do not think so, need electricity consumers. Please note that only PoW coins with great power have been added to the Coinbase, NEO and XRP not added

I can't think of a scenario where ETC really overtakes ETH. There are just not enough people using it for app development yet.

Hype means more than anything with coins still and imagine what FOMO would take place if ETC even came close to ETH?  I don't really think it is likely, but if there was ever a perfect storm - dumping ETH, combined with Coinbase hype and down market with ppl starved for a hit, makes for an interesting time ahead.  Remember, it's Crypto, anything is possible!  Would be a fun ride, anyway.

I'm saying that it's not possible to just "triangulate the location of a phone" like you would see in the movies. So to ask a question like this is impossible to answer, because there's no specificity. If you had a question about a specific type of attack, or a specific type of malware, I would be happy to find the answer for you. But the types of questions you ask above contain far too many variables to be able to accurately address

Out of curiosity, what makes you think a phone cannot be triangulated?

Screenshot or it's bullshit.  The only thing this "team" has done is literally tweet at exchanges to add them.  It's almost a joke at this point.

Although I agree that the low volume and only one exchange is certainly a problem, exchanges are asking ridicilous amounts of btc to get listed. Rumor is that binance is asking around 100k. Since IOC had no ico and no premine it is pretty hard to get listed anywhere. So maybe instead of trashing the team you would like to donate some btc or at least write some helpful advice or something. Or maybe invest in some other coin which had a premine or ridicilously overpriced ico. Fact is that IOC has some unique features and will probably be recognised in the future as a great investment. Imho ioc is present for quite some time and that gives the investors insurence that the devolpment will continue and will not be abandonded. In the mean time you can stake your coins and receive some nice roi

The "no ico and no premine" meme needs to die.  That's not a good thing, it's the reason the top 100 wallets control over 75% of the IOC in circulation.

Listening to the top wallets beg for donations is an absolute joke.  The total market cap was less than $20,000 in 2015, so I'm sure at least some of the top 100 wallet holders would be willing to pay to get this scam listed on an exchange since they've seen a 1000% increase on their initial investment.  Then again, greed is a factor.

Prove that the team has only "tweeted", or that is a bullshit claim.

It is only a joke to those who are not serious about it.

Top wallets control a lot because they bought and hold.   That is why it has continuously gotten harder to buy coins.

Many here have talked about donated to get things done.  This has happened, in spite of Joel not really wanting others to spend their money.  Something you would know if you followed more than casually.

The "no ico and no premine" is a point of pride with this team.  Whether that is ultimately good or bad, only time will tell, but according to your own post, it obviously has not hurt the coin to this point.

Greed is indeed at play.  Stands out clearly when people come here bitching and moaning about what is not happening with the coin and wanting other people to accomplish something so that they can gain the benefit.

So many post where people claim a coin is a "scam', yet they are interested enough to post about it.  So, who is trying to scam who?

IOC is what it is.  The team is working at the pace they can work at, accomplishing what they can accomplish.  It will happen within the timeframe their abilities will allow.

There are ways to be constructive and help if you truly want to.

If you have the ability to program, volunteer to help.  Costs nothing but time.  If you know how to get coins listed on exchanges, volunteer to help.  If you know how to effectively market a project, volunteer to help.  These would add value.

If you don't have any of these skills, simply pissing and moaning on the forum does not help.  In fact, it truly brings nothing to the table, except the fact that you want other people to work harder so you can earn the benefits, which brings us back to greed.  We agree on one thing, at least!

Here's your proof that you seemed to have missed from the last page, added another one for you since you're a casual observer.

Proving that they used twitter does not prove that it is the only thing they did.  Difficult concept, but keep trying......

Two months going three passed still dICO Monaize have not announced its launching date. Too many side tracks and low price is derailing the excellent architecture of Komodo platform. Adoption is the main focus so that masses will use or take advantage of the technology. Who will use agama mobile wallet if there is no apparent operation on its platform aside from the komodo token being exchanged?

Agree with you 100%
Not sure why the obsession with any single dICO.

barterDEX is getting adoption, slowly but surely, which is the only way to deal with scaling issues sanely.

agama mobile wallet supports many coins, are you saying there is not point to all those coins?

first people complained there were not wallets, now it seems the complaint is that we are making wallets but maybe people wont use it?

PPL just want moon yesterday.....   Just keep on doing what you are doing.  KMD is doing just fine.

this troll still upset ioc releasing real stuff and his obsedian and syscoin is releasing copy paste promise vapor. oh well embrace it not bash it
Copy paste? Please elaborate. Your here cherry picking syscoin which is probably the worsed possible coin you could have chosen based on whats coming. Lol pathetic.

If you need to know why this attitude is here, it is because you came on the forum and as a result people asked for IOC team to look at SYS coin.  The result was the finding of the cut and paste wallet that was available for people to see.  This threw up flags and was a legitimate concern.  One caused by you directly.

We all know that archived code does not represent what you are doing at present, but it certainly served to seed that doubt.

I would recommend working on your own project and not worrying about others.  It only serves to cause issues.  Same advice I gave IOC team about looking at your project.

Not really worth the time if you are concerned about your project and respectfull of the people's money that is being invested. Unless you need to do so to figure out how to do something, in which case, I would contact the other Dev team privately do discuss.  I would think most teams would be helpful if they have the time.

Or, if you legitimately find an issue with their code, in which case, I would also discuss it privately with them, as posting on forum appears to be FUD, which, if you are honestly trying to be helpful, is counter-productive for both of you.

Block-chain and coins are moving from a small noveltly to an enormous and serious industry.  With big time investors looking to come into the space, we need to start acting like professional and serious teams and people.  Some of you laugh at this, but it will make a big difference down the road.  Let's make this successful for all and stop acting like a bunch of kids playing at being grown-up.

Provide proof to those claims? What copy paste? It was started from namecoin by the original developer but was vastly different because nmc just does names. Again this is a public forum last I checked so if you look around at the early days it was a place where snippets of code were posted and debuggef amongst groups of people. It never was fud attempts I have even spoken to joel on skype and he is a nice guy so why would I do that? I am focused on my own project but I keep an eye on my friends thats what we do and especially those that are passionate. Perhaps you should lay off the accusations and think bigger picture yourself. Identity is a stepping stone into blockchain so anybody doing so is good in my books as we are all trying to solve it so this technology can become reality to the rest of the world.

The original quote said copy paste promised vaporware. That is baseless accusation that needs correcting. Anyways your welcome to see me on slack and I will explain all of the innovative stuff we have coming up its actually good if we cross reference each others ideas anyway. The only way we will get network effect is to team up and not try to focus on being individuals.

I was explaining to you exactly what happened.  You seem to want to care, so I have no problem giving you the benifit of the doubt.  Just letting you know how you came across here.  I have read through the entire SYS forum and believe you are indeed trying to do good things, but you did look very arrogant with some of your posts here.

I did not accuse you of anything, simply explained the perception created by you based upon the events as they happened.  Take it or leave it as you will, but as you said, this is a public forum and I would think those of you who are Devs would take great pains to remember that when you post, since you will have more influence than most.

Np man im here trying to help and we are all focused on the same goal. I want the good ones to survive and out with scammy icos which are populating top 100 like a virus.

I agree.  And, BTW, it wouldn't hurt if you guys take over the EBAY scene, or at least a big part of it.  Good Luck.

The bad blood here is mostly because you come across as an ass.  While I am pretty sure you don't mean too, it is a very poor way to promote coins.  Most of us here hope you and other making projects turn out successful for the sake of the coins and what they can do for people.  But, many of you out there need to figure out that there is no real reason to fight with other devs ( again, you may not have meant to do that, but it looked that way).

Even this reply of yours is extremely condescending.  Quite frankly, there are some of us out here that would stay away from what you are associated with just because that attitude often causes issues even among your own teams.

If you can have success and don't mind alienating people, then by all means, good luck.  However, if you would like to be extremely successful ( this is from experience ), you might want to humble yourself a little and learn that being so unaware of your ability to piss off people can harm you and your efforts much more than you realize.

If this does not mean anything to you, then good luck and hopefully the people that believe in you will stick with you down the road.  Remember that you represent more than your project when you speak publicly in coin forums.  Try not to let your ego become a liablity for others in your quest for personal recongnization. If your project is that good, what other people on forums think will not matter anyway, the result will speak for itself.

kb4scv,

What exchange?  I don't know where to look for this list.
Thanks

Any work, but Bittrex is good.  I read every ann of every coin I come across.  Lot's of work, but worth it.

It seems very backwards to me that people who didn't buy coins gets airdrops for free.

I'm willing to buy BitSend coins, but I don't qualify to get airdrops.  It's upside down.

Does anyone know of any other coins, besides Bitcore where I can earn interest on holding coins in a wallet?  Not staking wallets.

They are giving coins away to build awareness and a larger base for the coin.  Nothing wrong with that.  It is unfortunate that they have to set limits because so many will cheat, but that is the way it goes.

There are coins that earn interest by just owning the coin, but this is BSD thread and not the place to advertise others.  Go down the list on the exchange and read about each coin, lot's of interesting ones out there.  I think you will find what you are looking for.

Yes, I wan't to earn something for supporting a coin.  It's not free if you have to purchase coins first.  Staking doesn't count.  I don't want to have to keep wallets open on my computer constantly.  So far, Bitcore has been great.

Only giving away airdrops to certain people who didn't buy coins doesn't seem fair.

They don't complain about fairness when you cash out coins for profit.

I got some issue with my wallet need your advice.

Initially, I choose desktop one of the folder as a location for all the backups and to install wallet. But yesterday, when I was opening wallet by mistake, choose the location as a default location and wallet started synchronising from the day one but after all complete, I don't see my coins in my wallet.

Need your advice to recover back my coins. I have an old backup wallet.dat file.

Thanks for your help.
start your wallet by <Start>+<R> then type "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" and click <OK> (or press <Enter>). You'll be able to choose the previous data dir that contains your wallet and the most recently synchronized copy of the BSD blockchain.

Thanks for your information but didn't understand where a need to type "<Start>+<R>"? I didn't understand this part. Please help on this.

I usually double click bitsend-qt file to open bitsend wallet. Thank you.
<Start>+<R> means to press the "windows"/"orb" key on the keyboard and (while keeping it pressed) press the <R> key (also on the keyboard). That will open a "run program" box where you can type the "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" text then click <Ok> or press the <Enter> key...
An alternative solution would be to right-click on the "bitsend-qt" file and choose "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)", then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select "Properties"  and append " -choosedatadir" at the end the command field. After that you can double-click on the shortcut...

I have the strange feeling that I'm teaching somebody to operate a computer...

All for the cause.  Good job with the help.

So what are the expectations? Will BSD go up in value?

Well, what do you expect?

Well I'm pretty new.. I've been mining since june and had all my earnings converted to BTC. Now I'm exploring other coins to HODL.

It was a genuine question...... Will BSD go up in value?

If I ever figure out how to know that for sure, I will let all know.  (After I retire, of course)

However, as an educated guess, there does not seem to be any reason to suspect that BSD won't keep rising as more ppl enter into the market.  Long term goals with active Devs making progress toward them is about as good as you can ask for in these coins.
