201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti - XCR - Ͼ - 3 PoS algorithms - Ed25519 - Next Gen New Source - Launched! on: August 29, 2014, 04:45:06 PM
LOL crazy people selling at 1500 satoshis

There seems to be so little buy support at the moment, not sure why  Undecided

Looking at the prices on Cryptsy, the SELL ORDERS (ASK)  price is 1950, and the BUY ORDERS (BID) price is 1650.  A difference of about 20%.  Far too high a difference to attract a buyer.  The trade history shows a series of SELL orders executed bringing the price from 1900 to 1650.  This is either a dumping attempt to force others to sell and lower the price further, or what the stock exchanges call "Profit taking".

"Profit Taking" is a euphemism for "take the money and run".

Nothing interesting did not happen with Crypti at this week - everyone is dumping.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PoS+PoW] eXocoin [EXO]-gen 2.0- dev. from scratch! Give-Away | Open Beta on: August 29, 2014, 12:37:54 PM
I'm back to bitcointalk. Thanks for all supporters. I can understand people who expected an earlier launch.

Currently going to answer a whole batch of PMs and mails first...

We were able to finish almost all needed points for the final beta version. Most important we finalized the eXoProxy support which means that we can test on the servers used for launch the final beta test.

More information soon.
Final beta test is targeted to start between 31st August and 2nd September.

best regards
eXocoin
And if there is not any issues devs will release exo in ...... december.  Cheesy

For me forging should be increased to 10000-20000 Xcr. 1000 is very small no volume at all.

i dont get what you mean, forging is the way the network is kept online, increasing the limit only lessensreduces the amount op people forging
Amount would be the same because price will increase if you need 10000xcr for forging and forging will be more profitable (more nodes) if price will be higher.

You already answered that question. Mine BTC or LTC or whatever type of rig you have. Place them on an exchange with Crypti like Bter, Cryptsy or Polo and buy XCR with them.  Shocked

Why devs dont want to make life easier and create multipool.

I'm not sure if anyone thought about this, but what about a possible multipool for Crypti? It would allow miners to get involved with Crypti as well.

I think one of the key factors to this is in the central spirit of Crypti. Decentralization, transparency and equal opportunity for all. The way conventional multi-pools work in SHA-256 or scrypt is completely different and almost, in a way, adverse to the nature of Crypti.

informer
So mining is not equal opportunity and decentralization but 100% ipo is fair.  Cheesy

buy 1000 Crypyi and start forging/mining, that's a lower point entry than buying a mining rig and everybody can do it  Smiley
But if I already have mining rig and want to mine crypti.  Roll Eyes

Multipool mining is direct investment.

Then please explain to me how I have never bought one BTC yet I possess BTC in my wallet?
You said that you bought crypi with money from MINING. So I don't want buy BTC or Crypti, I will mine something then dump it and buy directly BTC or XCR. Multipool makes it easier. It automatically dumps and buys XCR and gives it to me.  Grin

I mean that in the sense that one cannot use massive farms running at 300 TH/s (or some absurd number) to improve their mining results forging Crypt. In order to improve your forging results with crypti you must invest in it but placing 1000 XCR in the wallet of the forge you setup. Which in turn, boosts the coin. That 1000 is a drop in the bucket right now, in not only value but volume. In the future when merchants are accepting XCR, their volume with vastly dwarf the deposit investment.

informer
What if I buy 1000000 xcr and set up 1000 nodes.

"Which in turn, boosts the coin"

SHA and Scrypts you don't have to invest in directly to mine. And to be quite frank with you all the BTC I have invested in XCR have been made through mining and day trading. I see where you're going and don't have a problem with trying to point out flaws in logic. You can take my message and split it a million directions if you want. It doesn't bother me. You are only proving my central idea.

informer
Multipool mining is direct investment.

Why do you compare mining and forging? I think miners should get opportunity to get crypti with their farms.

No, pool not possible for PoT.
Huh Just mining pool x11 and pay in Crypti which is bought on exchange.

I see lots of crappy traders on CCEX. Most of them are wannabe trolls looking for attention in the chatbox.

Since someone "crashed" the price by selling to himself, I added some support at 900 satoshi ( BTC0.8.) It's not much, but it will hold "troll's" mouths shut. So, since XBM is "faling" 50% ( as they said. ), let's see if it'll go down for 10%.
I'll be glad if the price falls to be honest. Cheesy More coins for me.

Someone already started to dump, not really to make some BTC, but to destroy the coin.

Or maybe he got concerned about his investment choice and just decided to get out now and move on.
He could make a refund ..
