Anyone able to mine solo with Wolfs GPU miner? It always complains about invalid address.
That was claymore, however in version 9.7 this doesn't apply. ( "- added "allpools" option, use it if your pool requires Username.Worker instead of wallet address, or if you mine some fork of Monero." ) Thanks for the hint, however: C:\Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 Beta - POOL>NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:27979 -u cRzuSbikPMnKKSm4mhxZwdfdfbdXA8YRwgftYEqT2aC1aRgWw2mxKKrXzs84D4MW2V7pnSzwN75vhf5nEgEce2vi8PeM5fPLBg -p x -allpools 1 -allcoins 1

My 8350 is only clocked at 4.4ghz but I'm confused why we get such low hash rates.. Something must not be optimized for our processors.... I don't know about him, but I couldn't even get the Upgraded cpu miner to work with my cpu, just the other miner worked.. Also can't get my 980ti to work on any of the miners Are you using cpuminer-amd.exe? My 8320E is at 4GHz.

Getting the same warnings, they are harmless. Something about dropped node connections.

What CPU miner is the best and what kind of hashes are people getting?
Im using this: cpuminer-opt-3-3-8-windows Gettint around 180 kH/s what cpu are you on i get around 80-100 on a fx6100 What cpu miner are you using and what is you command line? I have a fx8350 and don't think I'm getting the right hash. I have that cpu too and it dont do lot of hash, from one core you get 14-16 kh/s Getting ~130kH/s with my overclocked 8320E and cpuminer-opt-3-3-8-windows, which is not bad. I'd like to see some Intel hashrates.

Maybe I should use the last 1% for one last twitter campaign, pointing Hash tags at the exchanges?
Bittrex.com responded to my listing request, saying they list coins with a high activity rate & social media/forum presence.
Personally I prefer a coin growing organically. They surely noticed the high forum presence, just need to fix the wallet and keep hashrate high and it should be a no-brainer for most exchanges.

only old gpus..
r-9 380s not working? From what I know, only HD7000, R200 and R300 series is working with this GPU miner. My 6950 doesn't work and RX400 series apparrently doesn't either.

Frankly, 10k for a single node is a bit much. Everyone can open their wallet and send you their IP...

Net hashrate more than doubled over the night.

"Pay-Per-Play(PPP) is a social consensus to enable a close circuit between the pair of music sharing and consumption. The design is based on [Sharism Philosophy]( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharism). With PPP, musicians can publish their musical works with a smart contract, which will be triggered by any request of consumption and complete a payment to musician based on the terms. PPP regulates how musical works are licensed and paid to creators, and eventually scale up to be a music economy(aka Musical Economy). Backed by PPP, Musicoin will be a valuable currency bonded with music consumption. So the value of Musicoin will be assured and stabilized by demands. Since the default PPP payment is one coin per playback, the coin price will prone to be 0.01USD/coin(in today's music stream price in music industry). " --- https://github.com/Musicoin/Introduction/wiki/Pay-Per-Play(PPP) Nice concept that might just work! Getting artists onboard will be key to success.

I get the exact same error with my 6950, none of the GPU miners are compatible with older AMD cards. It says "press Enter to continue" and closes the programm. The other miner only has kernels for HD7000 and R200 series.

slowly i think i get closer... linux is not my area running the start command as listed gives me an error to set the rpcpassword in the magi.conf file. that file did not exist where it said, so i created it and set that field. now i get "couldn't connect to server". i did some digging, and turned up a magi.conf file with additional settings rpcport=8232 server=1 listen=1 rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=rpcpass rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 addnode=104.128.225.215 addnode=104.131.42.100 but that did not fix my couldnt connect error. again, slowly but surely... What exact error? Let it run for a while, it should find some nodes after a minute or two. You can also add some nodes from here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/#!network

Would removing the 1year-limit really cause a fork? edit: Of course it would, since the current wallet wouldn't accept the transaction of newly mined coins done with the new wallet. Right?

ok, i ran that code trying it for the Pine64. I still got the -msse2 error, so i commented that line out. the project built (it did take a while, it was running before i posted the last comment).
My problem is that nothing happens when i try to run the magid executable. no error, the program does seem to open, its not listed in task manager, etc. oh well. i may have to wait for the "official" pine64/arm build
You need to tell it to start... IIRC it should be
