What's wrong with the Y symbol? It's simple, reminiscent of BTC and well done imo.  Tongue
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ASIC Scrypt Miner for BITBAR "pictures" Proof on: June 20, 2013, 09:15:14 PM
Ofcourse he meant kilohash/seconds but was too silly and wrote Kelvin/hash. So at 1kH it'd be 300 million Kelvin.  Grin

Please also reserve two shares for me, got to scrape everything together. Thanks for doing this again, cool move.  Cool
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: June 20, 2013, 07:41:11 PM
No sarcasm, I probably will have a look at it. If that means I support this coin, so be it (thunder in the background, sky turns red, oh oh).
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: June 20, 2013, 07:35:02 PM
lol?

I asked an imo important question, and the answer was what i hoped for. That said, the specs look ok and the concept is interesting. Jesuscoin next?
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: June 20, 2013, 07:27:01 PM

OK great, i misunderstood you, thx.  Smiley
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ASIC Scrypt Miner for BITBAR "pictures" Proof on: June 20, 2013, 07:26:01 PM
300,000 K/Hash -- what kind of units are those?
Kelvin? That would be pretty hot.  Shocked
Glad someone saved the picture, incredible. The stars are a nice touch though.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: June 20, 2013, 07:18:56 PM
i am compiling them myself, rather than letting someone else do it.
So you will share the binaries?  Cheesy
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: June 20, 2013, 07:08:00 PM
Quote
Source and binaries are self compiled to avoid unfair launch.
That means people who are not able to self compile the binaries are f*cked, sounds a bit unfair to me.  Tongue
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Yet another GPU miner release! [YAC] on: June 17, 2013, 09:26:31 PM
Wow, my 5770 went from 56kH to 87kH!  Shocked
Thanks!
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else Mining Porncoin? on: June 17, 2013, 05:48:54 PM
Maybe I would if I could buy porn with it...  Since I can't I don't... Grin
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Crypto Currency FRANKO on: June 17, 2013, 05:22:39 PM
hi guys. i am trying to make a pool i setted up the setting correct (i think) but when i start the pool i get this error..

Code:
2013-06-17 09:53:22.284269 Testing bitcoind P2P connection to '127.0.0.1:7912'..
..

it never passes that port. any ideas ?.. there is not firewall or port worwarding issue.
Have a look in your franko.conf , if there is a line "maxconnections=8" or similar, that's the problem. Either set it higher, delete the line or start frankod after the p2pool.  Smiley

777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 51% attack on all altcoins since Feathercoin happening. on: June 17, 2013, 02:58:35 PM
I think it's dead.  More than twice the total coins in existence got sold on Cryptsy in the last two days.
oO

Just noticed he's also targeting BBQcoin. It's way older than Feathercoin, leave BBQ alone!

778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 51% attack on all altcoins since Feathercoin happening. on: June 17, 2013, 02:54:03 PM
There is a point, if he wouldn't (try to) do it publicly, someone else would (try to) do it secretly...

So is PWC dead already?
BTW: Sounds like OP is operating a botnet... ("on a good day i get 200Mh", this indicates variable hashrate, i.e. he's not-GPU mining)
779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 51% attack on all altcoins since Feathercoin happening. on: June 17, 2013, 02:47:53 PM
Luckily Yacoin has a good dev and nicely high hashrate.   Tongue
780  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User: LitecoinFoundation is a fraud on: June 17, 2013, 02:42:24 PM
I don't really understand what he is trying to accomplish, maybe scam donations to his noble cause?

I wonder if he had deleted your post too if you had simply sent your LTC address. And if you'd recieve the coins.
But this still confuses me...  Huh
edit: Maybe reopen the thread in the Altcoin section, much more people will see it if it gets bumped a few times.
