At the moment I only hold 5 different coins long-term. It depends on what you want, and what's your risk tolerance. If you want to invest heavily in a few coins then 5-6 should be just fine. If you want a moderate amount of coins, I would suggest anywhere from 8 to 15 coins. More than that would be difficult to follow constantly.

That's not only unethical as any other dictatorship, as it has some horrible incentives in it which contrary to the basic idea of a decentralized p2p cryptocurrency.

I doubt that there is any other altcoin or token that can replace the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Bitcoin brings legitimacy to cryptocurrency as a whole, especially since most people don't even know that other cryptocurrencies exist. Moreover, Bitcoin has been around for a long time and has proof that it can withstand through hard times and has a history of constant increase.

Even if the price drops in the first days after the fork, which is likely to happen since each side will dump some of the coins, you still have profit by doing nothing. The price of at least one of them will recover so the profit will be even more. This is why, in my opinion, is a good idea to buy Bitcoin now, before the fork, and this is what I'm doing. I am in favor of Bitcoin (BTC) and that is the blockchain that I will support in any case.

OMG is definitely in my HODL group. If any of the companies are going to get it done right, its going to be OmiseGO.
I was day trading OMG for a while, and made some nice profit. However, the more I read the more I realize this is the one to hodl. In fact, I think OMG and ETH will be my primary tokens.

As has already been said repeatedly on all channels, the code 'mistake' can not be corrected. This is the beauty of ethereum smart contracts.
Dev can say that generating new tokens will never happen but that's just his word. There is no way to confirm that since he owns the contract's address.

One way (perhaps the only one) would be to create a new smart contract but that's not an easy task since it will be difficult to compensate for the balance of all existing holders.
Who knows, maybe in the near future we will see the first EBTC 'hard fork'

By the way, I don't think that 'code mistake' has ever been a mistake... Every developer writes code that has a specific purpose. Conclude the rest of yourself!

Svaka, baš svaka, ETH adresa može primati 'smart contracts' iliti 'tokene'. To je funkcionalnost ethereum platforme.
Jednostavnom provjerom na https://etherscan.io/ možete vidjeti da li vaša adresa sadrži bilo kakve tokene...

Novčanik (wallet) je samo alat za pristup vašoj ETH adresi.
Ako vaš novčanik nema podršku za tokene po ERC20 standardu, to ne znači da nećete primiti tokene na tu adresu, samo ih nećete moći vidjeti u vašem novčaniku. Dovoljno je uvesti vaše privatne ključeve u novčanik koji to podržava (npr. MyEtherWallet).

Ovo se ne odnosi jedino na novčanike na mjenjačnicama (exchanges) i nekim drugim platformama (mislim, Coinbase) gdje nemate mogućnost izvoza vašeih privatnih ključeva.

Dakle, koji novčanik koristite nije važno. Možete bez problema koristiti i više različitih novčanika na istoj ETH adresi.
Bitno je jedino da imate pristup vašim privatnim ključevima. Ovdje neću ulaziti u detalje koliko je bitno da privatne ključeve držite sigurnim i dobro pazite gdje ćete ih upisivati.
