1241  Economy / Services / Re: ★★ Translation Campaign for Narbonne ★★ [0.01 Per Valid Translation] on: September 13, 2017, 03:38:34 PM
I'm sorry for rejecting other translations but for now,the Narbonne Team is only looking for translations which have active community in the bitcointalk forum. Also, please read the the updated post for the translations which are already assigned to following members.
If you don't have any previous translations but can do it ,you need to provide proof that you are proficient in that language.

Can you clarify what kind of proof we can provide that we are proficient in some language?
I signed up for the Croatian translation. Croatian is my mother tongue and I use English daily as an active part of my work. I'm active in the Croatian sub-forum and besides that, I manage many Croatian websites (some of which are multilingual) and writing for several portals. I will gladly provide references to PM if needed.
And of course, I do not expect payment before the quality control of the translated part.

I have heard it all before. Go research it! Well, I have.
The biggest proof, and one that is always ignored by FE'ers is that the Southern Cross is visible by everyone in the Southern Hemisphere. It is simply impossible for this on the flat earth model. Second, the 24 hour sunlight in Antarctica on Dec 21st is another proof. FE'ers say that is fake, yet, it has been proven not to be fake. Flights between Australia and South America is another proof...
The only research FE'ers have done is to say "fake". There is no other research done on the subject, because you guys know what will happen if you do actual research. Go visit an Observatory. Go buy your own telescope. Don't you see, in order to believe flat earth, you have to assume an impossible to keep secret conspiracy spanning centuries, you have to ignore basic observations, and you have to accept that so many things we know to be true are 'fake'. Why do you think no FE'er has ever made a real effort to prove anything.
Join the military and volunteer for this secret army that guards Antarctica, or join the military and volunteer to work for the Air Force Space program. Maybe take a physics or math classes. Or, even better, since you don't understand math, take the globe earth math to a real mathematician, and have him review it.
No, you guys won't go that far, you are comfortable making up stuff on blogs and youtube. That is the extent of your research. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the earth is not flat. Why don't you actually do your own research.

In your picture (second one), the lines don't end up back at the sun. They go way above it. Why? The sun is right there at the top of the frame, not far above. Can you explain?

Exactly! I just wanted to show you that this picture doesn't prove anything.
I have seen that it is often used in 'proving' the flat earth theory but they have only drawn lines that suit them and ignored the rest.

1249  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Čime se bavite ? on: September 11, 2017, 08:57:01 PM
znanjem mozete upustati u druge tematike...

Pogledaj malo strukturu najuspješnijih i najutjecajnijih ljudi u ovom biznisu.

1250  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: balerina on: September 11, 2017, 07:43:16 PM

Heej,

1251  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nexchange.io launches with a full API and free trading during September on: September 11, 2017, 06:48:46 PM
There is something particularly strange about the transactions listed on the front-page of your site. For these ones:

Care to clarify what's going on?

I have noticed the same thing. I think these are initiated but not completed orders.
This would explain 0 transactions at the recipient address. Each time a new order is initiated, a new receiving address is generated.
And since the ETH address is always the same I assume it is the same user, but he initiate exchange multiple times for some reason.

That's the thing, it's the depositing address that has 0 transactions and 0 BTC balance not the recipient address. Every single one of them with 0. Perhaps they may not be completed but if you look at the API page, the completion deadline is 15 minutes after the transaction is initiated and all of them are at least 1 hour old now.

That's what I meant - depositing address. Every time a new exchange is triggered, a new order and new depositing address is generated.
If you do not send the funds to that address in specified period, the order will remain in API log but will not have any traffic.

You can test it yourself. Start a new exchange, and don't make a payment. You'll see a similar entry in the list of orders.

ORLY? Took him over a month to decide to distance himself from this obvious-scam-ICO-is-obvious scam ICO?

FFS, they were using fake 'team' profiles and dozens and dozens of hacked bitcointalk forum accounts to bot-post bullshit on their thread, which part of any of this 'seemed legit'?

If you click through Duncan Lemp's extremely-light-on-anything-substantial resume, on to his 'Nonpariel Capital' facebook page, you can see him and his buddies claiming to have made $$$ for their 'clients' with their 'trading algorithm' (I'm sure it's nothing to do with the mercurial rise in BTC price during that period, right?). It would not surprise me in the slightest to find he was fully aware of the sketchy nature of this ICO and figured if he finally bailed on it he might be able to pretend like he was totes innocent.

Fucking amateur, learn some basic due diligence. Although, given that you're trying to sell yourself as a crypto-market expert for capital investment purposes, your apparent failure to do so in this ICOs case is suspect, to say the least.

It may look like a 'guilty until proven innocent' attitude but I can not help but to agree with you.
If he was already involved in the 'project' he certainly had some inside information that referred to fraud. He could come here and announce his findings publicly, but he waited until 'BitcoinTalk users identified enough key signs of a scam...'

1258  Economy / Services / Re: Nexchange.io Signature Campaign - Up To 0.05 BTC Per User Per Week! - Text Only! on: September 11, 2017, 12:09:30 PM
Would you guys care to place the funds in a trusted escrow on this forum? I think that would give everyone here peace of mind. Also, please add when you will send out payments into the OP. Will it be daily, weekly, monthly or never?

It seems pretty weird to me that someone who is capable of sending out those kind of payment rates, isn't able to hire someone to make them a proper signature for each rank, and a campaign manager that would be able to properly run their signature campaign. I would suggest that no one uses their signatures or avatar before funds are secured into a trusted escrow.

It is quite logical to escrow the funds, your group will turn out genuine in this forum not a hit and run, however if they are good to be true it is nice to join in this campaign you can earn a lot in their sig camp. Nevertheless I will not leave my campaign as of now.

My advice OP post the minimum character you allowed to be paid (100 char)for example

Nexchange is a pretty mature member of this community and there hasn't been a single complaint about their service so far. I think guys would not risk the reputation of their company because of a signature campaign.

You are talking about escrow the funds and still you're signing up for a campaign that has no escrow and will pay you depending on how much they collect money from their ICO? Isn't that a bit hypocritical? I think escrow is good thing but it is not necessary in this case.
1259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: September 11, 2017, 11:46:05 AM
How can a perfect god create an imperfect universe?

This universe is perfect! It is humanity's definition of perfection that falls short. It is based upon the flawed vision of human ego.

Yeah... No. It really isn't. Earth is not perfect, humans are not perfect, animals are not perfect.

Sure if you look at the small scale of a human lifetime or even a human sized object you could find faults and say things are less than perfect. However when you look at the universe as a whole and the beauty of how it works it is simply amazing! You can't say the Universe is imperfect in any meaningful sense.
Scientists have nailed down certain forces and balances that had they been even a tiny, tiny bit different we might have just had loose particles of matter and no stars or just a giant clump with no empty space. We got just the right Universe to support life on our world and maybe others too. There are so many ways that might not have happened if our Universe had not been exactly as it is. Yes our Universe is quite perfect at being a Universe that we can exist in. It is exactly what it needs to be and that is all we can ask for.
If someone knows of a more perfect Universe out there for comparison than I would love to know.

I just discovered that you started a signature campaign, too. I'd like to think that my proposal is partly responsible for this. Wink
I would also like to join this campaign (Avatar plus Primary Signature).
