1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I buy bitcoin from blockchain where does it come from? on: September 27, 2017, 05:43:05 PM
You have to think about Bitcoin like thinking about Gold.
You can only Buy it if someones is willing to sell gold.
And the Blockchain can be seen as a big book with all Transactions in it.

So if you buy a BTC the Blockchain memorizes your Transaction and you get your bought BTC's from a Seller

I am not trying to be that pedantic guy, but it IS really important that we start saying "blockchain.info" or BCI… or more and more people will start to think that THE Block chain is selling bitcoins to users Cheesy
Even though Blockchain.info can be used to monitor block chain activity, it is important to make the necessary distinction between the two.  Blockchain.info is a web wallet and a platform (block explorer) that serves as a visual representation of the Bitcoin block chain.

Clearly, OP is asking about Blockchain.info services so it would be good to keep the discussion within that topic.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I buy bitcoin from blockchain where does it come from? on: September 27, 2017, 04:23:09 PM
Hmm these 2 posts seem to contradict each other. Who's is right?

As of the first reply, i got the official blockchain.info app from the App Store? Same as the link from the website.

Blockchain.info is a UK based company (with headquarters located in Luxembourg) that is currently at the number one standing on the bitcoin business.
It is the most widely used Bitcoin block explorer but is also one of the most popular Bitcoin web wallets in the world.

According to their blog, users in the SEPA region have an option to purchase Bitcoin within a Blockchain.info wallet through their partnership with Coinify.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chart of the Day | Bitcoin Above $4000 on: September 27, 2017, 03:54:10 PM

This is no correction, just market noise. We are now on our way to test a new all time high. All the doubters got blown the fuck out once again. Not surprised to see BTC proving the haters wrong time after time, thsi is no different.

Keep holding and we will break through $5000 soon enough. Then as China confirms they are coming back with a license to trade, we will moon to anywhere from $7000 to $10000+

Damn, I really like the sound of that! I'm about the same opinion and I hope we are both right.
Maybe we'll see a small correction again, maybe even fall down to $3600 but I believe it will be right back at over $4000 value and continue to grow towards new all time high.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin crash on the 30th becasue of closing of chinese exchanges? on: September 27, 2017, 03:33:29 PM
In a sense, I hope it 'crash' back to $3,000 - $3,200... I would love to get some more before another imminent growth!
I'm confident now that bitcoin will bounce back from any level of crash. Imho, the term 'crash' is not meaningful to bitcoin trading, but 'corrections' is more appropriate.
1146  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your stress reliever ? on: September 27, 2017, 02:58:05 PM
Here's a list of some of the things I do in order to "distract" myself in a healthy way.
- watching inspiring movies
- reading inspiring books
- listening to inspiring music
- exercising or walking in nature
- playing with kids
- spending time with the people I love

This list could go on and on. It’s not so much what you do, but how you do it. Wink
1147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people reserve translations? on: September 27, 2017, 02:14:44 PM
they are called bounty beggars... pretty much self explanatory!

I disagree. People offer their services and receive compensation in return. There is nothing wrong with that and I wouldn't call it begging.
If you ever tried, you would realize that it is not as easy as it seems.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain.info mobile wallet bug on: September 27, 2017, 09:58:47 AM
I've used the blockchain.info wallet (including the mobile version) for years. I've never noticed such a bug. Are you sure you're looking at the right transaction?
You can always reinstall the app to see if that will fix it.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Make bitcoin more accessible for every day use? on: September 27, 2017, 09:49:52 AM
There is an increasing number of service providers and merchants who accept Bitcoin all over the world.
A common use for Bitcoin is online shopping. There are hundreds of online retailers and shops who accept Bitcoin. Search engines like Spendabit can help you find millions of products, all available for purchase with bitcoins. But, there are also many local businesses, such as hotels, cafes and restaurants, that accept Bitcoin. You can try Coinmap.org to browse thousands of businesses around the world.
If you prefer convenience and you don't have time to look for local businesses that accept Bitcoin, get at least one chip-and-PIN Bitcoin debit card. They usually come in one currency (eg USD denominated cards), so having more cards may be handy for avoiding paying foreign transaction fees. Bitcoin cards are linked with payment processors such as Visa, which are accepted at many locations. You can also use them to convert bitcoins to fiat in local currencies and withdraw cash from ATMs.

Thanks a lot!

Here is one bounty from the 'Services' section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2206047.0
You can try to apply as I can see that there are no translators for the Dutch language yet. The reward is $30 in bitcoins for accepted translators. You will find the application form in the description.

Do you know what Bounty means?
Each bounty thread explains the rewards for certain jobs. The same applies to translations.

For your example there is a bounty thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057124

1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can increase our income by investing in altcoins? on: September 26, 2017, 07:07:18 PM
Altcoins are good now a days for investment .how can we increase our income by investing in altcoins?

Investing in altcoins is a full time job because of that my advice is to approach altcoin investment with extreme caution, and be prepared to do a lot of daily research.

1) Make a habit to go on coinmarketcap every day and monitor the price of the top 10/20 currencies
2) Explore the community of the coin that you like and be sure they are active.
3) Train yourself to spot the scams: HYIP, Ponzis and so on.
4) Learn some technical analysis and trade on an exchange.
5) Research, research and more research!

There’s no guarantee that a new government will reverse the ICO and exchange ban that has plagued crypto markets in recent weeks. Nevertheless, there may well be political motives to the ban that will make it unnecessary after the elections are complete, according to Forbes.

Good news might come faster than you expect Wink

1156  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: GPUs for sale on: September 26, 2017, 12:25:57 AM
It would probably be a good idea to specify where the cards are located?
It could significantly affect the interest of potential buyers. Wink
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to store ICO tokens? on: September 26, 2017, 12:20:58 AM
Not to repeat what everyone above said... You have already concluded that MyEtherWallet is one of the best and most popular wallets.

Here are a few alternatives:
Mist - One of the primary Ethereum wallets used by desktop users. Mist is certainly capable of supporting ERC20 tokens, including token contracts.
Parity - This wallet is quite popular among Ethereum enthusiasts. Do keep in mind Parity will only watch tokens found in the Token Registry, though.
MetaMask - Browser plugin for Chrome and Firefox supports Ethereum-based tokens as well.
imToken - A mobile wallet compatible with Ethereum-based ICO tokens and is available for both Android and iOS
