Would really love to hear the community respond to this, i think it's a good thing to have some ISO standard for WC. Remember we are still a community coin with some great members and supporters No need to change the name (EDIT: I meant 'ticker code'). WC is the perfect ticker for WhiteCoin. And it leaves one letter free so that organisations that aren't altcoin exchanges can use XWC if and when it's time for that.

Hi guys! Did not attend the vote, so remind. If not it is difficult to vote for my version of the blue logo redesign again. We need this flat minimalism, if we want to be at the level above. http://litecoindark.com/logo-votingThanks! +1. this best This is great. It might look better without the highlight though.

Therefore, the community started asking a lot of questions, such as: “when you stop working will you still get the 5 percent or less? Can this ‘less’ mean ‘zero’?” If another developer takes your place will you still collect the 5 percent or less and the new developer get additional 5 percent or less taxes, effectively now 10 percent at most? Will anyone wish to invest their money in a coin that even the creators does not know what money to take out of it? Well, I would like to know the answer to this. As for the naming issue, it does not appear that there is consensus on a name change (looking at the unofficial poll). I suggest a moratorium on the issue (no discussion about it in this thread, no possible renaming of the coin) for 6 months.

Please backup your wallet Files and Uninstall older wallet client before upgrading
Well, I didn't see this I opened the wallet and it said "Get the upgrade on the website!" so that's what I did.

You need to UNINSTALL the old wallet first through windows programs and files (like a normal uninstall). Then install the new one.
Done, thanks. (Uninstalled v2, then tried to uninstall v3 but "it's already been uninstalled". Then installed v3 again and it worked.) I thought that a major focus of this coin was making the crypto experience easy for everyone. Shouldn't there have been a "Let's uninstall the v2 wallet first!" prompt?

New wallet not working.
I keep getting 'iocoin-qt.ext' has stopped working. I'm on Windows 7, 64 bit. I downloaded the wallet from the website.
I installed it over the old wallet, in the same place.

Communication isn't strong side of the Sync team and without proftis enrollment price and interest drops. Yeah they really need to take a lesson from the QiBucks team about communication. I sleep soundly with my money in QBK. More so than with SYNC.

Hey guys, really sorry for the lack of updates the last week. During my travels I picked up the flu which means I haven't been able to leave bed let alone do any work. I still feel like I'm on the verge of death so it may be a few more days until I'm fully back to action. Hope you all understand!

Friendly reminder to tweet about BritCoin to @BBCTech for a chance to win one of three 1,000 Brit prizes! Did anything ever come of this? If not, can we do it again?

I don't have anything to say.

I vote for boolberry.
(I haven't spoken in this thread before as I didn't have anything to say. Why clutter?)

You really want to put things like the block time and the number of coins generated in the PoW phase (was there one?) in the ANN OP. The tech specs basically.

Questions
1. My Windows Sync wallet v1.1.0.0 has a 'send mixed request' button. Is this NiteSend? Is it safe to use?
2. Colored coins are in the title of this ANN. How do I use them? I don't see a 'colored coins' tab or anything like that.
If you do not have the wallet downloaded from the link at the OP (The first post of this thread) then you have the wrong wallet. The version number of the old experimental Nite Send wallet is the same as the current wallet version, so just from version nr it is not possible to tell. Does your wallet sync with the network and show the correct current block nr as the explorer and pools? Yes, my wallet syncs fine and is working fine.

Apologies for the absence but I was in Las Vegas working on SYNC and the Sync Vegas event. I leave for a week and people flip - step aside pls if you are that impatient.

There is/soon-will-be a separate group MEW, Monero Economy Workgroup, similar to foundation that some coins have.
Isn't that a bit arrogant. Bitcoin = "some coin" I think there are other coins with foundations or similar groups? (I don't really know.) BlackCoin.
