Not missed yet, don't forget that bitcoin was also $14 at one time and at that time people also thought that it would be impossible to go higher.
Well it did go higher (and then went lower), but not 17x gain in 4 weeks  Missed or not, it's suicidal to buy into this now. Markets behave like this when someone's playing with them. Im buying now, but holding for the long term, I'll buy more as it comes down, and but more as it rises, truthfully, I think eth has a good chance of being a real problem for bitcoin and its value. But I wont sell all my btc for eth, just some because surely btc is not done yet. I am Lord of the light against the darkness of the Bob and will always try and bring him down every chance I get. In this case he does not speak with forked tongue. Only fools would miss the chance to buy in to ETH now. There are many fools on this forum posting from 2011 who even back then didn't buy in to BTC. They punish themselves daily by still posting here carrying that heavy load of regret on their shoulders. Don't be one of them. |

Here is the issue: if there is no real business behind the coin that generates profit and pays dividend for the coin holders nor the coin is used by a real world business operation (pretty much 99.9% of all coins) then you can make money only at the expense of naive users who buy into the hype. You can make only profit by creating bagholders. That is a scam. I fully understand, currently that is the state of crypto and except BTC and a few legit projects all others are based on this, but such scams bring nothing else than bad name to crypto and of course financial loss to the victims of the scams (i.e. bagholders). The IOTA scammers creates no IoT solution and of course no microprocessor and they create only bagholders. Are you OK making profit like this? What justifies the daughter of a troll? In vain. The way I saw it was that the potential profits of sitting on an exchange generating constant revenue through transaction fees would make the ICO look like pocket change. That's why I thought nobody would actually be stupid enough to let a pump group on that side of the deal. If they were going to play with the price then they'd have to do it at the buyer side and not at the seller side.
Thats why I don't believe Bter was actively involved in this. They are the largest volume provider for NXT and 2nd largest for Bitshares, ranked 3 and 4 on coinmarketcap.
