101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2018, 03:53:49 PM
Because lately bitkoin has a rather bad forecast, apparently it should be due to the fact that bitcoins have futures and projects like tether ripple, I think that such projects kill the world of crypto currency

This doesn't make sense, could you explain what bad forecast for btc? And why wouldn't the same apply to eth?
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: February 21, 2018, 03:48:17 PM
They are not against crypto, they are against people getting scammed through crypto ads on their platform.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Airdrop] BitFlux - Decentralized Rewards For Content Creators on: February 21, 2018, 03:34:39 PM
What is the maximum supply? And you know you aren't going to get 3000 people to sign up, you're not even going to get 1000 people to sign up.

We had over 4,000 sign ups in 1 hour 57 minutes. And if you're too lazy to do the bare minimum of research then you should stay away from this project and go back to shilling BitConnect.

I never even mentioned bitconnect, in fact I hate it. So stop making things up.
And I don't believe it to be true you've gotten 4000 legit sign ups in under 2 hours.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][FIX] Fornix |Masternodes|POS|High rewards| on: February 19, 2018, 01:05:44 PM
Why are people talking about airdrop?
I only see mentions of pre sale?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Polyswarm - The first decentralized threat intelligence market. on: February 19, 2018, 01:04:34 PM

I just stumbled over this thread and have a quick look at the homepage.
So I understand that, polyswarm is becoming a decentralized market place for programmers to sell their security programs?

I don't think this is what it does; they incentive security experts to detect malware, viruses and security breaches (think mining in bitcoin or ethereum) you should be rewarded with coins. On the other hand enterprises and individuals can use the platform to protect against those detected breaches using the said coin.

I don't think a new coin is needed to reach the goal they want, and I would be more incentivized by hard earned dollars.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 19, 2018, 12:32:55 PM
It depends on the situation, but people don't buy into ico to sell at the lowest or at the ico price. So I'd hold.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Waves hit $100 in this Year? on: February 19, 2018, 12:28:32 PM
it could happen, because nothing is impossible. we just wait for the market price is stable and if stable then the price waves will rise.

Of course, but I can't see it happening.
I don't think there is enough support for waves to reach there.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is a new concept for crypto-currency that you never heard before on: February 19, 2018, 12:27:19 PM
You are going to keep your coin stable, practical AND predict price? Sounds like a scam to me.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: February 17, 2018, 01:36:37 PM
I would pick neither. But if I was forced to choose I would probably go with litecoin, at least it's a real crypto,
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will altcoins be independent of bitcoin's movement? on: February 17, 2018, 12:32:03 PM
As long as alt prices are pegged to bitcoin prices they can't be independent. It looks like most altcoins will never be independent at this rate.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ripple bad/corrupt? on: February 17, 2018, 12:28:03 PM
In fact, Ripple could be a good coin if it had not been centralized. I don't like XRP just because it's too centralized right now. It has excellent functionality and it is already being tested by many world banks! This is good, but it can not be called cryptocurrency now.... IMHO

If it wasn't this centralized banks would never use it.

Ripple is not a bad coin and I believe it has a great future, currently its still cheap and in reach,I am planning to buy it in a bulk and save for the future.

There is so many xrp, I can't consider this price cheap.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is this buying period of alt coins? on: February 15, 2018, 06:31:46 PM
Hi all , wanna ask is this is the best time to invest in some alt coins , because almost top 100 coins are quite low in values at moment .
Every thing is red ,is there any chance of further down fall or not.

Also wanna ask about that any body appropriately knows why market is so down , due to korean exchanges exclusion or any other good reason.

I would wait another 10 or 20 days, so that finally strong volatility with a ternary fall is over and already then would start buying up some currencies.

That's not a bad thing to do, I have already bought a lot because I sometimes experience some fomo and just need to buy at my desired price.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins on: February 15, 2018, 06:26:58 PM
Best you can do is do your own research, look through the top 100 on coinmarketcap.com and decide from there.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Airdrop] Nevra (XEV) - Equality, Freedom, Trust on: February 14, 2018, 04:01:35 PM
Just checked the wp, happy to have found this one.
I do wonder how this whole airdrop thing will pan out, without real registrations and such.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 14, 2018, 12:19:39 PM
I used to, but nowadays airdrop on bitcointalk seems to be the equivalent of receiving a worthless token on the eth network you can't do anything with.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: February 14, 2018, 12:18:20 PM
If you think that, you must assume that some new generation blockchain project can replace ETH too.

This is my thoughts also, eth just started the "smart contract economy", now others will build on that and better alternatives than eth will be there in no time.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back at RED :( on: February 11, 2018, 01:45:01 PM
We all know how bitcoin acts after some consolidation, soon we will see all the threads about everything being green again  Grin
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: February 11, 2018, 01:42:47 PM
What is the definition of a fake coin according to you?

A coin that is real but is using the btc name and posing as btc?
A coin that doesn't exist at all?
A coin that claims to be the next/new btc?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ENU] Enumivo: An alternate EOS-compatible blockchain. on: February 11, 2018, 01:39:57 PM
It seems to be growing at quite some speed now, eager to see the roadmap and hear some of your ideas dev.
