521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact on gambling on: November 07, 2019, 02:25:16 PM
I used to play Sportsbook and my winnings might be based on 70% Luck 30% Knowledge. In choosing bets, I previously looked at their match history and analyzed and then executed what market had the highest chance of winning.
well sportsbetting is somewhat can be analyze and can easily find who will win(in a certain occasion and not all the time lol)because if we are a true fanatic of specific sport, then we have idea what will be the outcome of each game
Well you're right there are gambling games that needs more knowledge and not relying 100% on luck just like on sportsbet. Having an idea on each team's past game is necessary to be able to predict who will win. Luck + knowledge + strategy.
Being in sports betting is different from the other form of gambling. I have to understand that it never needs luck because we possibly know what would be the end of this game unlike we do in dice, poker and some other card games which are purely base luck games.

But I agree with you that, these( Luck + knowledge + strategy) things are very important in every time we visit casinos, having in online games and other forms of gambling. But we can also justify that above all, it is all about the decision we made and that would lead us either to win or lose.

all gambling games require luck, even though Sportsbet looks easy to analyze, but the final result still relies on luck. like I did in the last few months, when I bet on a big team and they played at home, the result was unexpected, even though in analysis they would win easily. I like games that use strategies like poker.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: November 07, 2019, 10:34:06 AM
What makes a person a good investor is the ability to take calculated risk and also know when to pull out ones investment. Emotions must be mastered so much that it plays little or no role in an investor making decisions (financing or investment) decisions as the case may be. Even in the case of a loss, an investor must take appraisal of the process and find out where he/she got it wrong. This is will minimise a repetition of the same mistake in the future.

ya I always see quotes from successful investors, that we must dare to take risks, and more importantly from a good investor is to continue to learn and explore information about what will be learned. so it's very good when you have a lot of knowledge. One of the most important things is to manage mentally, a good investor must have discipline and good emotions.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: November 07, 2019, 09:56:57 AM
I think now it's better you can exchange your money to bitcoin because soon Bitcoin has an event that can make bitcoin prices very expensive because bitcoin will be more difficult to obtain because the level of mining difficulties will be increased.

OP didn't state if he has plans for long term hold or he just wants to use Bitcoin as storage.
The Bitcoin halving hype may not really create much positive impact on it's price. same thing happened during the halving of Litecoin.

Are you sure Halving really didn't make a positive impact on prices? Try to see the history of Halving. 2012 halving and then 2013 bitcoin moon, also 2016 halving and then 2017 bitcoin moon.
maybe halving of litecoin is less attractive, because most people prefer investing in bitcoin.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 06, 2019, 07:01:24 PM
Maybe it would be hard for the gamblers to stop especially when the situation is going bad in which the gambler is already losing a big amount of stakes, you cannot stop those gamblers that are eager to take back the funds or stakes that they lose about and because of the greediness to take back the funds that he losses, he losses also all of his belongings. Being a gambler like me is very hard especially if you are experience on a huge loss and you need that money for some purposes, it would be hard to stop it until you take back the money that you've lost. But your effort to stop the gambler in the dice game was much appreciated.
The pain of losing money does not heal easily. People do get hurt when they see their hard earned money going away and it is also natural to try recovering that. However, gamblers should understand that the reason behind their loss could not become the reason behind their win. They must play with limited amounts of money and take gambling as a game. Large bets should be avoided.
The purpose of gambling should be to have fun, and it's better if you use free money for betting, not from the results of your hard work, because when you lose you will be angry and your emotions will be more difficult to control it, and of course when that happens you will bet continuously.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 06, 2019, 04:43:54 PM
Long-term cryptocurrency is better than day trading. Look at the statistics: almost all day traders lost a deposit, but scammers were able to increase their fortune tenfold
If someone keep investing their profits again and again into earlier capital after every trade then they have better chance of making more profits than long term traders but if you are making losses ad profits then your capital will go as the transaction fee so you will be in loss at the end with no benefits for doing such effort on your daily trading activities that is the reason why long term trading was suggested.
nothing is better, both are the same. in my opinion, it depends on your expertise in analyzing. if you want the long term, good to do on bitcoin because ultimately the price will continue to rise.
while altcoin is not so good for the long term. You can see the history of ATH prices on altcoin which is difficult to achieve again. while bitcoin will continue to make new history. So basically daily trading is good for those of you who rely on income from trading, while the long term is good for those who have a salary and keep it in bitcoin as a long term.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks with using trading Signals on: November 06, 2019, 02:47:49 PM
It is very dangerous to follow trading signals, both free trading signals and paid premium trading signals. Because I was
once a victim of trading signals, by following the pump and dump signals, my capital was finally used up. Indeed, we better
learn for ourselves trading strategies and analyze the market itself, so we better understand how read the market. That way
we can only make a profit. With trading signals we will not learn anything and won't get anything. because we don't understand
anything. So my advice is to avoid trading signals if you want to get one profit from trading.

it's true and I have been joining paid premium trading signals for 6 months, but it didn't end well for my profit. how can I follow their signals when prices have risen 10% before I buy, it only profits them.
better or at least have friends who are good enough in trading so we can discuss it with him.
527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: November 06, 2019, 12:02:19 PM
Probably a smart bet to buy Bitcoin in the early months of next year, Bitcoin doesn't usually start increasing in value until just a few months before the block reward halving.

Buying it now means you might not get it at the very best price. Though, I doubt it matters since it should go up between now and then anyway.
Buying it for long term investment doesn't really matters since the price will eventually increase. Not because of the halving only but also with those
news that showing positive impression coming from more people and government. It will take some time and after buying you should forget everything
the up and down from the volatile market will keeps on bothering you if you will keep monitoring the value. Better to buy and relax after.

a bit disagree with your opinion which underlines, we will never know what will happen to bitcoin in the future, whether it remains high value or even has no value anymore.
because we can see that bitcoin is always a lot of issues that can make the prices go down very deep and vice versa. but 1st reason is very good about halving because when viewed from the previous halving, it always makes the prices rise higher.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: November 06, 2019, 09:35:15 AM
in dice game, it is all about luck. Although some people believe there are no site that 100% fair, if we not luck when we create new account we can lose anytime. I think about IP and deposit address, some people already clever because there are a lot of ways to change IP address.
Are you able to crack any profits by changing your IP address? As far as I know, most of the crypto dicing here are 100% provably fair and there could be no chances for manipulation for gambler to gambler cases. When the situation is like this, what kind of differences you could bring by changing your IP address? Also, some gambling houses are very strict against having multiple accounts. If they catch you with multiple accounts, they will simply freeze all your funds.

Changing IP address must be a new kind of thing in this discussion of dice gambling strategy. It took my interest and if you are having some free time, please share more detailed explanation about this. I have already started researching about this like what we could do but I am really worrying about multiple accounts.

Changing your IP address is an old myth in online gambling. It is like changing your server seed. They are both myths for me. Whatever results that seem to suggest the idea that there is a lucky IP address or server seed in a 100% provably fair game are simply coincidences. There is no pattern that indicates the veracity of this practice.

I once thought like that about changing IP, does every house edge always cheat? because every time when play dice I always feel weird things, and after I practice it, it turns out the same, at the beginning it is always given a victory, after that, I always lose. but don't know it's really about luck or cheating.

House edge is just an edge. It is not cheating. Most of the dice sites have only 1% house edge. It is low but it will prevail in the long run and after rolling many times, especially after a hundred or a thousand rolls. But it is necessary for these online casinos to survive and earn. That 1% edge could be defeated though.

Please refer to this site to know how to check provable fairness in your rolls: https://dicesites.com/provably-fair. If only to dismiss the idea running in your mind that you are being cheated by dice sites.
Personally, i never think about cheated by dice sites. Only myth like what people said above, and it is not only me who think when we win, we will lose then if keep use the account.  Grin Maybe what actually happen is people not stop when they winning, and then when they lose they think if the site took back the money from them.

its a myth if a dice site / gambling site is verry trusted and have known to thier fair system but if you play on the dice site / gambling site that you are not familliar with  . there is a chance that they can cheat on you or on the other players that playing on them because they still have the guts to do it and there is no reputation at risk here but if thats the case then changing accounts or changing ip/seeds/etc is not a solution to not be cheated  .

well, that means it's only my prejudice, because indeed when I suffered defeat continuously I will suspect them because as far as I play dice, I always lose everything in the end. although I know about provably-fair.
It does sound strange that changing IP can change our luck, but after I realized, the fact is that when I'm greedy and play too long it will lose everything yeah.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 05, 2019, 05:39:46 PM
It often happens that people go out to play a variety of games of chance with a certain amount of money, but in the end they spend everything if they are gone. How to prevent which technique you base yourself on to spend no further. It's hard to just give up, people persistent in gambling that day, so they can't just tell themselves they'll try tomorrow. Why is this difficult? Is it because of greed?
You already answered that is because of greed. I once had this desire, I really wanted to have all the money on the table and beat others but I didn't realize that that desire was destroying me.

I often go home with no money, I really really want to have all my opponent's money, as time went by I was able to control myself because there was one event that required me to change my vices.

there are not many ways to not lose money on gambling, controlling emotion sometimes just buying time to not lose at one time, but at least it's good to get luck in another day. management is certainly very important not to lose a lot of money and of course, that's about greed.
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES A TRADER NEED? on: November 05, 2019, 02:10:18 PM
Reading news constantly and being on track?
Using platforms/tools?
Is trading view enough?
Thank you for helping in this matter!

I think using platforms/tools don't really need it, but reading news constantly it's important because most traders must know about the news what is happening and what will happen in the future, so that it can analyze price movements because the trading proverb says to buy when rumors, sell when news.

532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: November 04, 2019, 09:28:40 AM
I really like sports especially sports foot ball game.  But I rarely play gambling And not particularly fond of gambling. But sometimes I also play gambling in soccer sports with a score bet. But never win and I always lose.
It should be precisely when you have a passion in a field that the chances of victory are huge. because you know about the analysis. as in the ball. when we like it then we can analyze which club is actually playing pretty well. starting from looking at the entire list of matches. anyone who plays. whether playing on the stadium itself or the enemy. supporters and there are still many things that can be done analysis
ya if we like soccer, it will help a little to analyze each team. if I bet on soccer, I always bet on my favorite team when they play at home, I think it's an easy bet to get profit in sports betting.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamoto is alive and he is not Craig Steven Wright(CSW) on: October 30, 2019, 03:00:52 PM
craig is not a satoshi nakamoto, it is done because he tries to control the condition of bitcoin because the aim is to manipulate the price of bitcoin and only benefit himself, whereas if satoshi nakamoto is genuine then he should never appear because it will only make privacy and himself threatened.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: October 30, 2019, 01:50:08 PM
when I'm bored and very tired of trading, I will try to take a vacation to a place that I think has criteria for a safe, calm and cool place, vacationing on an island with your wife or your girlfriend and having a party there in my opinion could be one option that is sufficient for refreshment.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 30, 2019, 11:33:30 AM
I think now it's better if you participate in IEO held by large exchange places such as Binance, Kucoin and other places of exchange that have a high reputation and trust, it is better for you to participate in a truly trusted exchange because it can be safer and more fortunately.

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 30, 2019, 06:13:55 AM
I think if you buy this Bitcoin SV has very good potential, it still takes a very long time to be able to experience price increases, ethereum prices are superior, but the supply and price of bitcoin SV has the potential to make a profit, so now I still have some The Bitcoin SV that I intentionally withheld because I believe Bitcoin SV can be very expensive when demand increases.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 30, 2019, 03:40:14 AM
for me alone when I want to give money from a short distance as used for relatives or people who need me prefer to give with cash so it will not make it difficult to use the money, whereas if the distance is very far then I will use digital money to facilitate transactions over long distances.
539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 29, 2019, 10:49:10 PM
I think they are indeed many who hide their losses because for what losses are reported in public better kept for yourself and used as a lesson because the losses that have occurred can be a very valuable experience.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your opinion about this investment strategy on: October 29, 2019, 02:18:24 PM
I think from the capital that you have what if you are more in bitcoin and focus with a little coin, you can start from Bitcoin, XRP and XLM because only when this coin still has the potential to be able to make a profit, does it have risks but at least the risk is not too high.
