181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Under Construction | Building A Brand New Codebase on: November 27, 2016, 04:23:23 PM
Alpha Testing For New Rise Codebase

We hope to have a date (within the next couple of weeks) for when our prototype will be ready for a closed round of testing in the alpha phase.

Before open public testing we'd like to get opinions from a maximum of 15 testers, which can be anybody from the Rise community to iron out any major bugs before passing on to an open beta.

Details will be released shortly on how to apply for the initial round of testing.

There will be a bug bounty offered for those that help us to find and identify improvements to the new Rise code throughout testing phases.

What are the requirements to help alpha test the new codebase besides

- some spare vps
- know how to run a rise/lisk/dlisk node
- same / enough spare time

The chain is moving finally (without doing git pull) but will recompile right now.

Because I can't redeem xel maybe someone could send me some test-xel : XEL-XFMU-85XU-V4S3-EZZY2

Thanks

P.S. I could set up one or two other nodes if you need them.

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: November 24, 2016, 06:16:44 PM
Hi,

I just updated my public node to 0.7.1 @ https://elastic.cryptnodes.site/index.html

Blockdownload isn't happening at the moment - still stuck at block #2

I tried to redeem my XEL but I get the same error like if I try to add/edit my userinfo :

Code:
Could not validate unsigned bytes returned by the server.

Was there a sollution to this or did I missed it ?

Aber was hat man schon zu befürchten.

Inofficial testnet started using the 0.7.0 version, and the public nodes were updated. May be buggy, but we need to test out some things "in the wild".
For serious testing, please wait for 0.7.1.
just want update my public node to latest git but compile.sh and run.sh is missing intentionally ?

Thank you all so much for the support.

Update: Genesis Block is armed!!

Is it enough to get the latest GIT ?

I pulled the latest changes and I don't get any node to send me the chain. Are the seed nodes still on V 0.5 ?

Made a cuda port of actual Silentarmy 5

speeds sucks. 92 s/s on overclocked 1070(opencl version give near 100)

Tested only on linux.

But it's not the fault of your port - it's the same with the plain nheqminer 0.4b and the cuda_tromp solver. maybe again bad luck with the old computing (30) version.

Regards

Try adding some flags in CMakeLists.txt for older compute capabilities 3.5 or 5.0. For 750Ti i solved it adding 5.0 flags:

set(CUDA_NVCC_FLAGS ${CUDA_NVCC_FLAGS};; -gencode arch=compute_50,code=sm_50;-gencode arch=compute_52,code=sm_52;  -gencode arch=compute_61,code=sm_61 )

afaik the compute version is detected and used - definitions to use 3.0 are in the CMakeList ..

It still dumps - must be something different ..

Try running with ./silentarmy --instances=1 option, it is faster on my nvidia cards with one instance

And replace main.c with this, then rebuild

2 GK104 GPUs it's Kepler also...wont get much with it...

I know it's not much - but I got ~ 15 wit V4 and only 50% with V5 .
or can't the miner be optinized for this chip ?

Hi all,

anyone seen the latest prive @ livecoin ? The Coin is dying !

Today 16 sat price. That's we all lost our investment and dev sitting on our BTC ?

My proposal - pay  the investors their coins back and close it - It don't make sense - the 3rd swap without a running wallet.

Limx Dev tries the best he can to fix things but there is a point when giving up is the better option

regards

It's not going to close down, we will continue. You must know that crypto goes up and down and there are no guarantees of price. We will take it into the next version which will be a new code base and away from all the issues and ditch the masternodes. If you want to get out, that would be your choice.

Sorry .. but remember .. the ico price was around 250 sat. now we see 1/10the left. this is not an ordinary up/down.

What about the funds you raised - how much was it 150 BTC ? What will you do - what will be the next steps - which of your goals did you ever reached.

Sorry - but this is more and more a grave ..
