I noticed that the price was on a small linear rise these past few days, then it just popped up.  The only thing I can find as to what it might be is this: "CFTC Grants Full Registration to Bitcoin Swaps Trading Platform"  -- Coindesk.... or is it just the "pre-halving"?

The following worked for me on winXP, it should also work on win7 but I don't know that for sure:


You might want to remove all signs of what you may have done previously... remove old mooncoin installation files, clean out the registry, etc.  (save any old "wallet.dat" files before doing this, just in case you had previous transactions)

Go to http://mooncoin.rocks/wallet-download/

Download the file:  Mooncoin-1.862.1.7z

Disable any antivirus.  (you may need to add an exception for: Mooncoin-1.862.1.exe)

You can use winrar to decompress the "7z" file and extract: Mooncoin-1.862.1.exe

Run: Mooncoin-1.862.1.exe  (let it pass through whatever firewall is up)

Give it time to sync up.  It might take some time to get an active connection.  Then wait a bit more to fully synchronize.  It will be about 50 weeks behind.

(I had no need to mess with the "peers.dat" file, or do anything else funky)

Thanks coinflow for the well rounded introduction.  I would have added what most talking heads would have said, about what the price of Mooncoin will do after the tail end of a Gibbs phenomenon replication, that is,  "... at this point the price will do one of three things, it will either remain flat, it can move up, or it may move down".

And it looks like it has started to move up.  I'd say that bodes well for Mooncoin.

On this day, 11-30-2014, the price of Mooncoin for the past month has almost perfectly resembled the Gibbs phenomenon.
