Reposting for clarity: The new logo contest poll has now been posted in the #moon_polls channel on the Discord. Those wishing to submit their logos please do so within 7 days before the deadline is up. Voting will then occur over 3 days. Please take a few minutes to register with the Discord ASAP in order to vote. Link here: https://discord.gg/Hhbmdjd- If you CHOOSE not to vote, you have no recourse... you have ZERO right to complain. - If you MISS the contest entirely, you have ZERO right to complain as it means you were not active for 10 days in the Community; only in an extreme case would someone be without the Internet for such a period of time. The contest will be posted in every single social media outlet we have available to us. - If you dislike, hate, or generally disagree with this logo contest, that is fine and your opinion is valid. The vote will show what the Community wants. In other words... if all you do is hold MOON and only show your face to complain or bitch about things rather than join the Community in the many different ways available to you to engage in conversation, project brainstorming or offer help with your specific talents, then you have ZERO right to complain. DO SOMETHING. BE ACTIVE. GET INVOLVED. The only problem I had with the last "poll for a new logo" idea was the outcome. 1) For anyone who is already a mooninite the logo could be anything. Sure the logo might matter a bit to the mooncoin collector, but not really, the collector is already interested in mooncoin. The logo is important simply as a first impression, for those that stumble upon mooncoin for the first time, since it is one of those things they first set their eyes upon... And so, from that perspective, to have a logo that is not a "moon" in some way is silly, and you'll end with more comments from those that have noticed mooncoin for the first time and wondered why its logo is a banana? (I use "banana" as a placeholder, I could have easily said: light bulb, pear, eye ball, thumb, or mouse). 2) ... or maybe, as with any internet poll, you could end up with the "boaty mcboatface" effect. Just speculating.

Mooncoin Discord has: - Became a main point of communication for both Evangelo and barrysty1e in coordinating things such as helping test newly developed algos, setting up various new initiatives (will list here), and coming up with different ideas and projects that have so far only helped to further speed up and develop MOON in a positive direction. - Started the MCF: Mooncoin Community Fund. The initial funding of the MCF (10 million MOON) was provided by me and since then, many other people have donated further to it. Fund address located here for anyone wanting to check it out: 2LpMRkRjM6VQnttqB6X3L77tNZATx6Fzar This has so far been used to compensate the latest Logo and Mascot designer winner (a single designer won both categories), tip for some bot development in the Discord and will very soon be used for other things such as: -- Setting up a MOON pool for a developing video game company who will very likely be using Mooncoin as their in-game currency! -- Paying for a Apple development license for producing MOON based apps and games that can be made available on the Play Store and Apple Store! -- Recurring advertisement for MOON as well as the production of informative videos and informational sites and articles. -- Translation work for all the things mentioned that would be necessary. - The Discord group has also been very active in social media; creating a new blog page with relevant, up to date information on the happenings of MOON (available here: http://moonchan.org) tweeting our faces off to all exchanges and other relevant sites and people to garner further attention, getting contacts together for further investing and project opportunities, etc. - Initiated and gained control of the main subreddit r/mooncoin, which has not seen active moderators in over 2 years. 2 YEARS. Also started an active Twitter account for Mooncoin. Which now has over 1k subscribers, in just a few weeks time. - Developed a new Mooncoin website ( http://www.mooncoin.eco) due to the current website ( http://www.mooncoin.com) owner being unwilling to update to current information. - Started a Mooncoin Steam gaming group! - Created a Master Job List of all who are working towards moving Mooncoin forward. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OFeDkyvkkzeaLCTCbACn2CuDXkQp0LFkvxzdFTdVQn8/edit?usp=sharing (please contact someone here in the ANN or on the Discord if you'd like to help out!) AND MORE! ... Well done! I like this.

Litecoin Nov 2013 53$ Litecoin June 2017 40$ The peak in Nov 2013 was temporary, but after that Litecoin has been getting gradually stronger. Don't compare it to Mooncoin. Mooncoin is getting weaker every day. Every day I check it on coinmarketcap.com and it's gone down 10 posts or so. It used to be around #80 but now it's at #136. That's pathetic. Mooncoin is currently one of the only altcoins that are not profitable. I invested in Dubaicoin and Mooncoin at the same time, guess which one made profit? Dubaicoin's value increased 10-fold and it's now worth $22. Mooncoin marketcap July 2016: ~ $400,000 Mooncoin marketcap July 2017: ~ $13,000,000+ So, what is that, about a 30-fold increase? (change the lens and I can make it look anyway I want)

If we want to change fore instance the website, logo and socialmedia it would be great if someone knows the owner of the domainname and facebookpage. Keeping the pages intact, and just updating them is the best option. For us to professionalize the brand we would need the logincredentials.
Besides that it would be more than welcome if someone with technical background could write a text about what Sprouts are, what they are good for, how they get mined, system, etc. And it would be especially a big plus as someone could also make it understandable for newbies. We need to attract a broad audience.
Is it an idea to start a seperate brainstormchat? So people who want and can help can get in direct contact?
agree i made new channel for it. now bug found http://imgur.com/C4TwEomAh, fine progress. Finding and killing bugs is a good thing. Gonnabetya: keeping the domains and most of the pages is a good idea, but it may be tough to locate the owners.

i think a reduction of 60% on pos would be nice. even a halving from 1000:1 would help. what you guys think ?
Agreed. I am all in with any significant reduction in the pos. Staying on the current path is certain death for this coin. Anyone else?

Oh i see that is a problem i will pm him but i dont know if he will reply. I think that in order to pump this coins value and stability we need a couple of things. A new site would be a great start (i created one and i ll give y a little teaser http://prntscr.com/fpb27o ). Furthermore, we need a linux wallet and why not also an android (i havent see any of them there) and finally i think we need a new more organized thread in bitcointalk. Is anyone willing to help? I m in for a try. I ll also pm here and in sprouts site to the dev and let you know. That is a very fine graphic. Of course we'd all appreciate it if you and Gonnabetya designed a new site. If I were the dev for this coin the first thing I'd fix is its inflation rate, which is currently at 1 milliion percent. It is ok that is does Pos, keeping Pos would be inline with its name since one can say "these sprouts are sprouting new sprouts". But last year at about this time there were around 200 million sprouts, now there are more than 200 billion, and next year it could be over 200 trillion. At some point these coins will price themselves out of every possible exchange, and so they will need to be dropped. And that would be no fault of the exchanges. that mean coin supply right. we need decrease on algorithm. if need linux i will do build it. but i already try many bug on that script. I need it's can config new barkley db around 6.x we need follow up oracle barkley db. if anyone similar problem meet me on Discord ChannelYes, I mean the rate of new coins placed into circulation. So, are you saying that you can decrease its inflation rate in its algorithm? If so, that would be very beneficial. Of course, it would be good to hear how others feel about this.

hello team, I am new to this thread and i want to help the community.I have some millions of sprouts also (to be honest ). Is there any dev active here or not? I took the initiative to create a new site which i ve not published yet (wait for dev to discuss), that i think will help this coin. The most recent dev for this coin was sproutsjr, but I can't be sure if he is still active. Their last post was on March 17th, and they posted the latest wallet on March 15th: https://sproutscommunity.wordpress.com/2017/03/15/sprouts-wallet-release/

I figured out the problem. It's because I would go over the 2 billion coin cap in the wallet. I'm testing to find out if it's wallet wide or stack specific. So dumb, lost 13 days of minting as a result As for price, it always fluctuates. By coin control feature I make my block size 400 to 500 millions. It takes 8 to 12 days to get staking reward. You can see what I am doing. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sprts/address.dws?SYkXBLc2QrgJ6AWaBNBthrzcLV4Cya7tWV.htmThanks to you both, bastilar for your questions, and kk777 for your answers. I wasn't aware of this "2 billion coin cap" feature. I'm also interested to know if its wallet wide or stack specific.

At the bottom right corner, it says "you have 0 active connection(s) to sprouts network" i tried to send my sprouts to that wallet for long hodl and now i am feeling stupid for not testing it with a few sprouts first. i really do hope someone knowledgeable on this forum can help me resolve my issue.
You may need to fix your sprouts.conf file. I posted how to do that here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1798901.msg19720939#msg19720939After fixing the conf file, restart the sprouts wallet and let it synch up. cheers, If you go to the peers browser: https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/SPRTSyou'll see the latest list that needs to be added to the sprouts.conf file, which is currently: addnode=92.222.238.47 addnode=2001:0:5ef5:79fb:2c28:2065:52bb:3c38 addnode=2607:5300:60:8052:0:0:0:0 addnode=109.176.104.26 addnode=187.143.153.126 addnode=79.143.191.161 addnode=24.11.45.99 addnode=75.131.122.15 addnode=191.6.127.229 addnode=176.121.240.152 addnode=67.233.88.11 addnode=217.175.119.125 addnode=110.170.30.222 addnode=118.238.217.92 addnode=85.24.142.152 addnode=156.57.13.94 addnode=78.47.60.141 addnode=84.115.253.70 addnode=212.237.38.11 addnode=158.69.27.82 addnode=85.4.48.99 addnode=195.240.49.58 addnode=205.251.171.136 addnode=2a01:4f8:212:1b12:0:0:0:2 addnode=136.243.60.19 addnode=2a01:4f8:120:64ae:0:0:0:301 addnode=78.46.92.72 addnode=2a01:4f8:161:4041:0:0:0:2 addnode=5.9.48.68 addnode=173.244.48.131 addnode=23.28.253.151 addnode=2601:14c:8003:c583:14c8:4b96:6149:4746 addnode=93.170.135.244 addnode=158.58.129.223 addnode=222.155.164.2 addnode=47.54.168.239 addnode=5.197.115.8 addnode=80.193.147.219 addnode=173.239.215.15 addnode=69.180.185.65 addnode=118.102.74.85 addnode=85.62.20.153 addnode=95.103.34.188 addnode=156.205.13.211 addnode=5.20.224.107 addnode=95.103.34.188 addnode=84.221.174.32 addnode=2001:0:9d38:90d7:142d:1908:a830:5d68 addnode=69.176.242.196 addnode=2001:0:9d38:90d7:2cba:ce6b:ace3:f169 addnode=86.163.115.184 addnode=173.68.195.199 addnode=66.109.136.35 addnode=84.28.37.230 addnode=42.114.223.98 addnode=86.24.244.100 addnode=2001:0:5ef5:79fb:182e:2835:5210:28e3 addnode=173.239.215.28 addnode=24.193.126.32 addnode=13.58.252.244 addnode=69.130.148.120

hello, i mistakenly sent coins to old version v0.1.2.2-gd0cbc83 I am new to the use of desktop wallets. can someone please pm me with what to do to get my coins back?
As far as I can tell v0.1.2.2-gd0cbc83 is the latest version of the sprouts wallet created on 3-13-2017, so your sprouts should be fine.

I staked 13 days ago and yes latest wallet from this thread. It's not locked. How many coins do you both have staking? I'm at 13% mint chance per 10 minutes and I'm still not staking. Thanks Then I have no idea what your problem might be. I'd save the wallet file and reinstall the client. On a previous post I said that I had noticed that the current version didn't work for me unless I had certain dlls in the same directory with the sprouts.exe file: libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll libstdc++-6.dll libwinpthread-1.dll sprouts.exe (size: 23,469 kb) I'm not sure if that would make a difference for you. -------------- My mint probablities say 0.25% for 10 min, and 25.98% to 30.29% for 24 hours. Age of those coins are at 6 to 10 days. Those are lots with 280, 57, and 39 million each. And I have other smaller lots with less days, smaller age. And the wallet has 8 active connections.

|

Is anyone staking? I've had it staking 13 days now, with 2 billion coins.
It's still not staking. Very irritating. Also, it seems coinmarketcap has not updated the sprouts coin supply yet; it's been stuck at 213 billion for a while now.
It is staking just fine for me. The wallet version I'm using is: v0.1.2.2-gd0cbc83 Be sure that the wallet is not "locked", otherwise it will not be able to mint new coins.

If anyone is currently working on a project that is directly MOON related, please reply to this post (or PM me) and I'll add you to a Master List of those working towards moving Mooncoin forward. This will enable people looking to get involved or started on a particular idea or concept to get in touch with those who can best help. We're having a bit of a problem keeping track of who's doing what, so this will resolve that issue. seems no devs now . Absolutely ridiculous. You are seriously mistaken. Mooncoin currently has a very active and talented developer who has already taken care of major issues that this coin had in its recent past. He is about to release a new version of the wallet with modifications. See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg19547905#msg19547905

Out of curiosity, why no feedback on my designs? Are you guys not seeing them because they are not pictures on the post? The img tags are not working for me. https://i.imgur.com/MDUabGY.jpg?2Hey, I'm sorry that I nor others have commented on your designs. I'm sure that they are fine and all and getting better, but from my point of view if you removed the "M" then I might get interested and reply. In truth, and I can't speak for others, I can only assume that they are thinking the same, its that yesterday Tomorroman's skillful designs appeared in this thread and amazed many of us. I suspect that it would be really tough to follow up with something better than that....

I am having a huge problem with getting the wallet to work. And I have installed over 40 desktop wallets and bootstraped/snapshot/recovered .dat file. It seems no matter what version i install it won't sync or it syncs and gets stuck half way. Any help would be nice...
Here's what got the sprouts wallet working for me on a win7 machine. About a month ago I found a zip file that contained these files: libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll libstdc++-6.dll libwinpthread-1.dll sprouts.exe (size: 18,484 kb) (edit: I had found the above files here: http://sproutcoin.github.io/ http://sproutcoin.github.io/downloads/sprouts1-2-2.zip ) I extracted these files to a directory I created for sprouts. (The wallet's data files end up at: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Sprouts) But the above exe file didn't work, it crashed at some point, so I found the latest sprouts wallet file here: https://sproutscommunity.wordpress.com/2017/03/15/sprouts-wallet-release/The name of that zipped file is: sprouts-win-qt.zip The only contents of that file was: sprouts.exe (size: 23,469 kb) I placed that exe in the directory I created above for sprouts, so now it contains these files: libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll libstdc++-6.dll libwinpthread-1.dll sprouts.exe (size: 23,469 kb) This wallet exe now runs correctly, and synchs up rather fast. For some reason the above "sprouts.exe 23,469 kb" caused errors if those dll files were not included in the same directory. I don't recall the exact errors, but it said something about missing dlls. ------------ You may need to add and modify a config file: Create a file: "sprouts.conf" and place it in with the sprout's wallet data: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Sprouts Then add this to the file: addnode=24.19.58.130 addnode=93.79.92.102 addnode=78.46.92.72 addnode=213.81.183.34 addnode=184.164.129.202 addnode=222.152.72.87 addnode=73.204.47.125 addnode=195.240.49.58 addnode=174.69.128.87 addnode=75.131.122.15 addnode=158.69.27.82 addnode=2607:5300:60:8052:0:0:0:0 addnode=2a01:4f8:161:4041:0:0:0:2 addnode=5.9.48.68 addnode=205.251.171.136 addnode=92.222.238.47 addnode=85.4.48.99 addnode=2001:0:9d38:6abd:24c4:2a46:4691:7337 addnode=176.121.240.152 addnode=173.68.195.199 addnode=109.235.185.171 addnode=212.237.38.11 addnode=80.193.147.219 addnode=187.143.142.166 addnode=212.17.37.144 addnode=83.226.180.167 addnode=93.170.135.242 addnode=173.21.50.85 addnode=219.195.106.49 addnode=2a01:4f8:120:64ae:0:0:0:301 addnode=118.102.74.85 addnode=23.28.253.151 addnode=84.115.253.70 addnode=85.175.216.200 addnode=2601:589:c400:9960:d47:4d21:a966:4c0a addnode=47.41.25.191 addnode=85.62.20.153 addnode=164.132.216.109 addnode=93.170.135.244 addnode=86.189.169.48 addnode=1.55.139.145 addnode=2001:0:9d38:78cf:3c2e:12a8:2bee:da6f addnode=2001:0:4137:9e76:18a3:1c8d:ac1d:4b58 addnode=2a02:c205:2011:3897:0:0:0:1 addnode=2001:0:4137:9e76:1448:5fc:b47c:85f0 addnode=2001:0:5ef5:79fb:1461:338f:5210:25f9 addnode=2001:0:9d38:953c:8e2:2c05:2aae:48dd addnode=2001:0:9d38:6ab8:103e:15e6:52ea:cdaa addnode=5.20.224.107 addnode=2001:0:4137:9e76:1448:5fc:b47c:85f0 save it, and restart the wallet. ... now it should connect, and start downloading the block data. I don't recall if I used a bootstrap file, maybe it didn't need it? The above was found at: https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/SPRTSCurrent version of the wallet working for me is: v0.1.2.2-gd0cbc83

Yobit is not such a big improvement... I would personally aim beside bittrex and poloniex the Younbi and jubi platforms. Step by step we're creating an entire Mooncoin ecosystem, for the moment for me the price is good, I bought at 3 sat. Regarding the fact the the current marketcap is not the accurate one (35% of the total supply - first 2 biggest wallet are frozen) ...
Do you have any info. on those 2 biggest wallets being frozen. Would be intrigued to learn more about that based on your input. please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg19666010#msg19666010 2 top addresses in block explorers are unspendable (Cryptsy), the 3rd and some other addresses are a cold storage of current exchanges.
A short description of this was also added to the Original Post, in the NEWS section. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.0
