First, I would like to congratulate Liverpool for winning the EFL CUp this season by beating Chelsea.

Despite Chelsea's failure in this match, I will appreciate them because they can provide an interesting game that makes Liverpool difficult in this match. It seems that Liverpool did not expect that Chelsea would play this well and they can really provide a pretty solid resistance throughout the game. Their statistical records for 120 minutes of the match are not much different, and that shows that Chelsea really succeeded.
Jurgen Klopp managed to bring their first trophy this season, this is a good sign because before their farewell, Jurgen Klopp can give a trophy to Liverpool. Current standings in Premier League left many points from the top position, seems Chelsea have been over for winning premier league this season and EFL Cup is the realistic trophy for Chelsea.

He's been a big joke for Manchester United. I'd love Erik Ten Hag to drop him, he lacks Competition so he thinks he can just do whatever he likes and get away with it.

I'm already sick and tired of talking about Manchester United, they should fight and make sure they qualify for the Champions League. Anyways, the new owners have them plans and would take decisions better next season.

On the right wing, Garnacho has been a better option for Manchester United this season. Rashford has also failed to create chances for his teammates since he's got difficulties with goalscoring.

I agree. It would be nice for the team if Erik ten Hag decides to drop Rashford as long as he continues to play like this. Trying new things is always better in this kind of situations. There is no need to do the same thing in every game just because he is a skilled player. Maybe he isn't a bad player normally but he can't be beneficial for his team now. 


By the way the EFL Cup finale was really thrilling. While we were near moving on to penalty shootouts van Dijk scored a dramatic goal in the last minutes and brought the cup to Liverpool. Chelsea must be really devastated to get this result after reaching the finale. They are already having a problematic season and they wasted their valuable title chance.

What reason would a team have or not have to win a final or to just let it go? These two teams did play a final and I doubt that any of them thought too much about the next games and therefore rotated. Klopp is known for rotation and of course he wanted to win this final as much he wants to win everything he can. I am quite sure that he is super proud about this title even though it doesn't mean as much as other titles, but getting the party started for his goodbye tour could have been worse. Winning this title is one more for his Liverpool era collection and the fans have something to celebrate. It was quite a good game given that so many starts have been missing, but to be honest Liverpool is still a very respectable team even if some players are not on the pitch that are usually part of the core of the team.

Yeah, it was an absolute joy to watch. I can't believe that Liverpool have won the EFL Cup. Because of the way Chelsea was playing, I didn't think that Liverpool would win because Chelsea had more shots on target than Liverpool in the first 90 minutes, but V. van Dijk's goal turned everything around. Klopp's fair share was won by another trophy. But anyway the match was absolutely exquisite and allowed both teams to dominate the match both teams scored in the first half but unfortunately, the goal was disallowed by VAR. While the Liverpool boy V. van Dijk scored a beautiful goal in the dying minutes to give Luverpook the final victory, the funny thing is that the match was equal and V. van Dijk took the game in extra time. I was thinking penalty shoutout, but Liverpool won.

Liverpool managed to achieve a dramatic victory in the Carabao Cup final after going through Exstra time, and I was very impressed with Van Dijk game today. the match was open and both teams attacked each other, much to the amusement of the fans on both sides. Liverpool had greater Luck, but if it came to a Penalty shootout, the result might be different. This victory will have a big impact on Liverpool future journey, Jurgen Klopp squad now has high confidence to conquer challenges in all the competitions they participate in.

Mauricio Pochettino failed to produce a Trophy in his first season for Chelsea, but I think he has done a good job, and he does not deserve to be completely blamed. The first farewell gift for Jurgen Klopp, which is currently a Trending topic in various media, Jurgen Klopp deserves appreciation after the various trophies he presented to Liverpool. it is possible that Liverpool will achieve great success this Season, because in the Premier League, European League and FA Cup, They are also one of the favorite teams to win.

What I observe about this current Chelsea is that, they are just bunch of under 21 team trying to impress, that's why they mostly struggle when they are playing any experience team, because as is stance now, their is no leadership in this Chelsea team, just take a look at how they are languishing in 10 position in the league table, it will take them up to 5 seasons for Chelsea to be the force of English football they once were.

Liverpool's Youngsters outclassing Chelsea's £220M midfield is the best thing I've seen today. There was so much tension in the game but I loved how Liverpool fought hard. Exemplary performance for Van Dijk and I'm glad he won it and got the MoTM as a Liverpool captain. Klopp going away soon and the boys are already gathering farewell gift for him. You'd love to seeee it.

Liverpool are the champions of the Carabao Cup. Took all of the regular time plus almost all of the additional Extra time to break through Chelsea's defence. Van Dijk scored in regular time but it was disallowed and he scored again at 118 mins to take the lead and become the champions of the Carabao Cup.

Congrats Liverpool its the first trophy in this season and motivate for winning several trophies left from Premier League and Europe League, actually Liverpool line up against Chelsea most dominance with second squad composition but its difficult for Chelsea getting their first tittle in this season. There are not Salah and Darwin Nunez in starting eleven and on the bench but still not easy for Chelsea for winning the EFL Cup final match and loss the only one opportunity for winning trophy in this season.

Liverpool are ready for this match without Mo Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez and I know Chelsea are not Luton Town that maintain winning throughout the first half of the game without this guys, even though they later won that was Premier league and now it's final against Chelsea, Liverpool shouldn't capitalised on their last meeting with Chelsea that they won 4-1, I know Mo Salah was absent. I expect seriousness with the both clubs because this match really mean a lot for this teams especially the coaches.

I've been watching Liverpool for years. I haven't seen them this bad for a long time. Goalkeeper Kelleher didn't give me any confidence. It's funny but the truth is that the best players in this match were Gravenberch and Bradley. When Klopp leaves this team, Liverpool will have a big collapse. I think that after Klopp, stars like Salah will also leave the team. They can finish this season as champions but after Klopp leaves we will see very different things.

Chelsea failed to win the EFL title, which was very disappointing for them. This was a tough game for both teams and I was very entertained by both of their games. The winner was determined in the final minutes of the match and Liverpool managed to win within 120 minutes.

Chelsea should indeed be appreciated for their hard work in this match, but there are certainly many players who regret it, especially because they failed to take advantage of their big opportunity to score a goal. Chelsea played well as usual against top teams, so I think this was an honorable defeat that they were forced to accept.

Good job Liverpool, congratulations.

It was a match worthy of the final. Both Chelsea and Liverpool were very good. Van Dijk gave Liverpool the kiss of life by scoring the goal in the 118th minute. Having won the league cup, Liverpool can now fully concentrate on winning the championship. Also, I'm sure Chelsea is very angry with themselves for not winning this cup. This year's only cup possibility for the players was also unsuccessful.

Last season, Manchester United played around Marcus Rashford and he was mainly used as the number nine, with Wout Weghorst right behind him closing down spaces for him and those who watched only the bad and lack of pace from this same Wout Weghorst would call him a fraud for joining Manchester United. He did most kf the runs Rashford was supposed to make and closed down these potholes for Marcus.
I'm not Erik Ten Hag, he should do whatever he wants to do. It's either he gets sacked or backed by Jim Radcliffe and his team.

For that game i didn't see that game to be very honest. It was said that Chelsea lad's could not do nothing in this game. Jurgen Klopp has not won two finals against Mauricio Pochetino.

I'm Chelsea fan and I'm sad because my team is finished. There's nothing good about the team this current season, you can't tell me they can handle Liverpool B team at wembley. This was one of the worst game for the Blues this season, they missed out good chances of goal opportunities but turning to Liverpool B team, they made everyone proud with their stellar performance against Blues.

Jurgen Klopp can easily win Chelsea because he knows the weaknesses of the club, no relenting efforts but grab the important points, his player, Van Dijk was present where they needed him at appropriate time. Liverpool goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher saved the day with his brilliant saves, he denied the Blues numerous chances of goal scoring, so he deserves his flowers. I'm highly dissapointed in the Blues, they should ensure they made rights for their wrongs.

Chelsea is an unpredictable and unreliable team they go through the competition with many surprises as you said when against weak teams they draw or lose while when against strong teams they draw and sometimes win I think they will continue to do that until the end of the season. Next season Chelsea has many things to improve one of the most important is defense because Chelsea conceded too many goals, this season they have conceded 41 goals from 25 matches it was their worst performance in the last few seasons.

Written beautifully as a true fan. But I'm sorry your club is shitty. Liverpool was shitty too until Klopp turned things around for the club since his arrival. Both Petrovic and Kelleher were really solid today. The goal Liverpool scored was a header and there's nothing Petrovic would've done about it. As for Chelsea's problem, I don't even know. Chelsea has some of the best (maybe expensive but not best?) players yet they struggle in games. I was very much surprised why Klopp was confidently bringing on young players (in a final!). We knew the bench was empty but we were expecting the few senior players present to play full time but he brought in young bloods and they delivered.

I must say, I'm glad Liverpool won it. It's a befitting trophy for Klopp as a farewell gift.

I see that Pochettino cannot bring Tottenham out of there, he always fails in the final, and this defeat is very disappointing with the squad he has currently. But they failed to beat Liverpool to get the trophy this season.

In this final game we realized that no other manager could win a game with so many injuries, let alone a cup final. Klopp is really a smart coach. Imagine Liverpool could win just by using reserve players and the Academy team at the same time. Shame on Chelsea! Congratulations to Liverpool on winning their 10th Carabao Cup. It's all about the fact that neither of these teams can make a mistake, they are on the same level, you could say Arsenal are trailing. 60-59-58, when else has there been a table like this with 12 matches to go? It could well turn out that Arsenal will be champions if MC and Liverpool do make mistakes.

Amazing outcome for Klopp and Liverpool. So many injuries we had to play a bunch of kids but we still found a way to win. What a club, no other team with this many injuries wins that game today.

Van Dijk is back to his best, what a legend. This will give us massive momentum now going forward with more trophies to play for this season.
