How exactly do you work? Do you just get the wallet file and we hope you are not greedy?
Unfortunately, if your wallet files are corrupted, I don't know of any other way to correct them without having a full copy of them. Like I said, this is a business that requires trust, and AFAIK, there is no other way to do it (again, I'm talking about the case of damaged files; the recovering of the password can be done without compromising the privet keys that have the BTC, only the empty ones are needed to verify the correct password). And it's not about being greedy; it's about being honest. Just teasing you, you could set up an escrow, but its probably difficult as you would have to prefund whats in the wallet. My english is not the better I at first, before giving him the portfolio I said "better to give them to someone who will use them instead of leaving them lost" I trusted him and he has restored the wallet! |

Thanks for the reference, paputa  And yes, it is very interesting that several Multibit-HD wallets are having that kind of weird behavior. Well, if you got your words seed, you have nothing to be afraid of; but if you need someone to help you restore your wallet, I can help you (It requires trust, but it's the only way, AFAIK). Well, the problem with paputa's files was that they were corrupted. I can't know why the were like that, but it could be because of many reasons: improper shutdown, disconnecting the power source, hard drive malfunction, etc. a freeze of the program caused this, i has close the wallet and reopen but the password hasn't work |

Hello Everybody! I have decided to start a wallet restoration/password find service, and I know there are several others that already do the same; but I want to help too. I offer help for those who have already tried other services with no luck, specially for the Multibit-HD users who have the password and still can't open the wallet due to file damage (If you have your words seed, you can use them to rebuild your wallet; but if you lost them or just can't find them, I might help you). Having more than 30 years of experience in computer programming and 2+ years in Bitcoin, I have learned a few tricks that I can use to help you get your wallet/coins back. If all you need is to recover your lost password (and you have a good hunch of what it could be), then I only require part of your wallet file to find it back (I will PM you the steps for that); but if your problem is to restore a damaged wallet, then I will need you to trust me your wallet file(s). Sorry, but in that case there is no other way (and I think that's obvious). I'm an unknown name right now here in btk, but if you already tried other services with no luck, then I think you have nothing to loose, and everything to gain (Btw, my fees are the standard 20% of the total wallet BTC, or a minimum of 0.1 BTC). Well, I hope I can help you to get back your long lost coins . I think the following applies particularly in this environment: "Judge a man , by nothing else but RESULTS" -Vegasguy (with your permission, Vegas). PS: Please, if you have no evidence (and I know you don't), don't call me "scammer" just because you feel like it. I trusted him and in 10 days he managed to rebuild of the wallet I have seen that it is very good and honest I trusted him from the beginning because or they were lost or at least they would have been used. @paputa Sorry that, in the end, you were not able to recover your bitcoins. We use the wallet words extensively in the recovery so without those options are limited.
Electrum is a very good wallet so I am sure you will have a good experience with that.
For your own peace of mind I recommend going through their recovery process (from the Electrum seed phrase) at least once. That way you will know what it entails and can see it working.

i have lost about 80 $ with multibit because the password (is correct) not unlock the wallet after the freeze of multibit ( close and reopen but same issue) and i not have the words, so now i'm using electrum

Comunque non capisco come venga estratto il numero, spero ci sia un qualche meccanismo di probably fair. ..
indico un metodo per guadagnarci,niente di che,comunque al momento non c'è ma credo che uscirà a breve sarebbe opportuno fare un gruppo su skype e avere un registro completo per fare delle statistiche Ma scusa cosa haida guadagnare, su un sito che non ha la provably fair? E' la stessa cosa se io ora ti dico, facciamo un gioco, mandami i btc al mio indirizzo, dopo che li ho ricevuti, indovina che numero sto facendo con la mano dietro la schiena, tu scegli un numero e io lo cambio Giochi senza provably fair = scam fra poco verrà inserita anche quella funzione |
