Your points are valid, but there is another problem. What if bitcoin becomes replaced? I mean, when people know Bitcoin, they will also know how to handle any other (possibly better) altcoin, and switch to it.
But my point is, If we are not sell the bitcoin for anything means What profit we can make with that. We are using bitcoin to make profit in better way. Hold a bitcoin till halving but after that sell it. |

Well said, Price will rise double the rate, mining will reduce to half from how much they are mining. No lose for any bitcoin users even miners also will get a extra value for their mining due to reduction of mining in halving. Price won't double due to the halving. Unless we go to $300 first, then yes. Otherwise, there will be a lot of talking and quite more of disappointment. In order to get a solid rise there is a need to attract new people (new money) and for that we need to increase the adoption potential. Talking about halving won't do the trick. Fine dude. I think both are very good. If the invest is not doing well than you have always money for sure.
If you dont invest, than it is impossible to make some more money. So I think that both is the best option.
