You don't have understand technology to understand why a currency capped at 21M with half already in the hands of neck beard nerds and come into existence by solving puzzles in big jerry rigged Chinese warehouses is not ever gonna work in the real world.
This is as funny as wrong. Wasn't it Buffet who said about land - they don't make it anymore. I think some professional investors know that the value would rise with more holding, and could take the risk with a small sum, but I think they are held back by not knowing how to report it, taxing and so on. When they discover they just can hold it anonymously, they will come in and we will see it in price action. If I know these guys right, they (some of them) don't care about reporting if they think they can get away without reporting it. Bitcoin is not a secret any more FYI. Most investores like "sure play" bitcoin is NOT sure play. If you had any considerable amounts of money in your pocket/wallet/bank you would also be very carefull on not investing it on something like Bitcoin, at least in this stage. Taxing gains is never an issue, but what happens if you lose out? Will that get reducted from you tax? Thats some unclare questions, not the questions you asked. Sorry for the hostality, but your post was NOT well though.

I dont mind the owners making money, I just think its a valid question to know how many coins is being held by the owners.
After all, this coin will see great value, as it adds more to the crypto currency then every other coin have done, since Bitcoin.
Full transperancy is not a lot to ask.
Also, the 2-4k Bitcoins is not much for developing a new coin, its def more than that.
If I was to develop a new coin, I would make sure I had atleast the same stash as Satoshi have

Simple questions:
1: How many coins is the market cap? 2: Can you run sys over TOR? 3: How do the owners earn their money? A cut from Blockchain sales?
1: How many coins is the market cap? - Total coins will eventually be 2 billions, in many many years. 2: Can you run sys over TOR? - things in progress for an alternative method but really a better question to be asked from others on the development team. 3: How do the owners earn their money? A cut from Blockchain sales? - if you list an item for 2,000 SYS then you will recieve 2,000 SYS. It's not based on a share or anything it's your own sale. You can either lost directly on the main blockchain marketplace or make your own Blockmarket (28th January release, currently in beta syscoin.market for information) 3: But how do the owner earn their money? If not a cut from sales, then premined coins? How many premined coins? I think those questions is really important. blockmarket owners make money the same way any business does. Buy things in bulk, and sell retail for syscoin, thereby making money via the slight markup. I think he/she is under the impression that Blockmarket is a centrally owned enterprise and that the owner gets a percentage of sales revenue from market owners. I was under that impression, but after more reading I came of that conclusion. My questions is: How do the syscoin development team earn their money, they syscoin owners. Buy selling premined coins? If so, how many premined coins do they have?

Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX New Debit Card Offerings, Updated Mobile App and STR Relaunch

Update: Support just sent me tracking number, and it being sent now. Thank you.
Clearification/improvements: Maybe this mess was created partly because of me, or the same the campaign went down, but like I told support, I was very eager to get the card(s) within next week.
New questions:
If I transfer BTC to my card, and the price of BTC goes up or down, will that affect my balance? or is my balance tied to FIAT of the card I have chosen?
Card holding limits: The premium card offer 50k limit, according to support, "50k limit at any one time"
Lets say my balance is 50k I withdraw/purchase for 20k = 30k left, can I deposit another 20k into my card?

You just said paid for a card. Once you verify the card is free the card plus and is you have express delivery they upgrade the card to the black one. You should not have paid for a card when the offer is till the end of the month. They should just upgrade the card with your express delivery :-)
I paid for express and ordered the premium card, I was hoping to get an additional card, the plus, so I can have two cards. Just got an email; "Thank you for submitting your verification documents. We have sent you via registered post and a free ANX Plus card, a unique passcode to the address stipulated in your KYC documents. Once received, please login" Am I getting the plus on additional to premium? To answer your question about payment: The cards was really cheap, the shipping cost more than the cards. Yes, I believe that you actually got 2 cards then, what is the status for the premium card? Has it shipped as well? Cheers, monbux I havent received any status. I sent a mail, and in the mail they asked me to pay more for the Premium. I think there is a big misunderstanding. I just woke up in the midle of night to match your time zone, so I can disscuss this with support in a effecient way. Here is my new question: I paid for Premium and express shipping, will they include the free card and the verification note in the express shipping? Btw: I think this misunderstanding stems from my lack of English, and im sorry for that

Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum - Unverified Transaction

I checked my LocalBitcoins account a few days ago looking to buy BTC. For some reason there was a balance of 0.0028. I then transferred to my personal wallet.
The transaction has only had one confirmation, just sitting there for several days.
Looking at the details there is one Input and four Outputs.
Will this transaction eventually verify?
Try disabling the Auto-connect option in settings and then restart the client. New version of the client is on the way. Did as suggested, nothing changed. Played around with tabs and clicked "Open" under "File" then clicked on the file and it verified with 600+ confirmations. Thanks, this just helped me a LOT! I was worried.

This relentless downward spiral sucks but we HODL. Nothing else we can do. I'd rather lose everything than sell now at a loss.
Damn straight Spoken like a true poker player on tilt This Q/2 off suit will make me win. Come one vs Pocket AA you prolly never played much online poker. if you have pocket aces... chances are your opponent flops the nuts QQ2. but wait there is someone else with 3 3: turn: 3. river : 3. hmmm both of you lost because the bank has quad 3s. thx for playing Haha, stopped online poker after losing 3k in under 12 hours... But you are 100% right. Fair dice can rim my ass, there is no fair in poker cards. But surprisingly, some people seems to master the online poker scheme

Damn straight Thats a big gamble. If I could I would have sold long time a go! Selling now, and buying lower is better, you get more value. Or you can buy as soon as it hits back where it is now, whenever it jumps
