901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fee 0% - Doge, Lite, Paycoin, Ripple and Nubits only in Bitcoin.co.id on: March 04, 2015, 03:52:19 AM
why can I only trade my bicoin to alt coins and not like, say, ripple to dogecoin or litecoin to nubits and et cetera?

i don't know but perhaps in the future they'll allow us to do so

I also wish I could just buy those alt coins directly with rupiah  Cry

well they're focusing more in bitcoin so I doubt that'll happen

bummer... well never say never though right?  Grin

well most exchanges only provide alt coin markets where people can trade them with their Bitcoin, so I guess bitcoin.co.id is no different

yeah and most indonesian users prefer to buy bitcoin more anyway
902  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 0% Trading Fee - Bitcoin.co.id - Bitcoin and Alt Coin Marketplace on: March 03, 2015, 01:46:00 AM
your trading volume keeps growing like crazy. One time it even reached 600 BTC/24 hours, if I'm not mistaken? Well done, didn't think there would be so many bitcoin users in Indonesia

yeah, and there are more members in the site now. I think bitcoin.co.id gains about 100 members/day? most of these indonesian bitcoiners are just bitcoin traders though, not users. They don't use bitcoin to shop, they just trade it to gain profit.
903  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project Bitcoin Island - Bali - Indonesia on: February 28, 2015, 01:35:46 AM
so is it already covered? Can I actually travel to Bali only by paying everything with my Bitcoin now?

not everything, see this one .. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=567458.180

oh okay, so we can already buy souvenirs with bitcoin

at least, if there are hotels, restaurants, and souvenirs shops there in Bali that are accepting Bitcoin, I guess it's already enough for me Smiley

I think there is some hotels accepting bitcoin, Smiley

true, but those five-star hotels are way too expensive though  Cry

I think it's because those who accept bitcoin in bali are mostly expatriates with big businesses, that's why it's expensive

agreed. Local merchants still usually prefer to accept cash directly

but i think, just use real money to buy some food
:p

but it feels different when you can pay your meals with bitcoin though  Grin

agreed. I did it once and it does feel different! Smiley

haven't tried buying anything with Bitcoin but it's definitely worth to try

too bad I'm not living anywhere near bali though...

but are you living in Indonesia? because there are some merchants in jakarta as well that accept Bitcoin

I'm actually staying nowhere near Indonesia but i've been to jakarta once. Yeah I think I saw some in coinmap

Ah I see... well maybe next time you're going to Bali, you can try spend your bitcoin there. I don't know if you can pay everything with BTC but at least there are some hotels and restaurants there that accept it...

just did my first trade at Bitcoin.co.id. Great service! The Alt coins' prices tend to go down though...

wait till bitcoin's price plummets down again, then people will start moving to alt coins

wow there are already 5 alt coins in your site... all of them can be traded for free?

not only alt coins though. you can also trade your rupiah to bitcoin for free if you become the market maker  Cheesy

but then you'll get pending orders and sometimes IMO it's better if you just pay the 0.3% fee to avoid the risk of the volatility price that strikes practically every minute

I prefer to use both. I usually just use the limit option when I want to buy bitcoin in a cheaper price but I don't have the patience to wait for it so I just set my own price and let it be  Grin

true, well it's not like they charge us 1% or anything right? 0.3% doesn't make that much difference

it's pretty common for trade exchanges to take some fee everytime you do a transaction. That's where they get their money back right? Other exchanges I know charge me like 1% everytime I sell/buy bitcoin
907  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 0% Trading Fee - Bitcoin.co.id - Bitcoin and Alt Coin Marketplace on: February 24, 2015, 01:29:55 AM
%0 trading fee..
it's very nice..
bitcoin prices will nıt increase
so if u want earn we should make trade..

bitcoin's price will not increase? Are you sure?  Grin

price will vary sideways for now i guess since chinese is having their new year so less volume till next week i guess

I certainly hope so. I think it was in the middle of October 2014 when those Chinese buyers drove the price up from around $325 to more than $400 within a day. Hope that day would come soon  Grin

that time was crazy! I managed to sell the Bitcoin i bought at around $300 for $400 each, but then I bought some too when the price was like $350 and now it's down to $280. Talk about a roller coaster ride  Cheesy

don't they send the money via local banks too, though?
for local people i think yes
but for who doesn't have local bank, you can ask him about withdraw from voucher vip to paypal/okpay

thanks mr foxyu

what do I do if I want to withdraw my money but I don't have a local bank account in Indonesia? do I really need to create one?
you can withdraw your money using voucher
then you can go to digitalchanger to process withdrawal
they accept voucher code bitcoin.co.id
so you don't have to open local bank account Smiley

don't they send the money via local banks too, though?

yes we can withdraw to okpay or others currency but paypal we haven't serve yet

what about credit cards then? can I withdraw money using credit cards?

I won't do that if I were you though. The fee is crazy high!

i know, i was just looking for other alternatives since I don't own any local bank account

Though I'm not really into alt coins, Bitcoin.co.id has been a great place for me to try trading my bitcoin to paycoin since it won't cost me anything. Thank you for that!

I just left a question in your other thread, but when are you guys going to add another coin to the market?   Smiley

are they still going to add more? I thought Paycoin was the last one  Huh

I'm sure they'll be adding more to expand their market  Smiley
