Hi Guys We just added Bitshares/BTC to our exchange with 0% trading fee We also remove KYC requirement for altcoin trading ! NO KYC for altcoin marketplace So we don't have to share our identity numbers again? Finally! wait i thought it was necessary in Indonesia? they're probably still using KYC for bitcoin-rupiah trade. But for alt coins, it's not necessary to do it. you're right, they still want to know your identity when you do transactions to IDR but at least now international customers can trade alt coins easily yes, that's because when it's involving IDR, they still need to obey the regulations from the government.

what is KYC means? i didn't see KYC in vip website. can you explain to me? KYC is short for Know Your Customer. To put it simply, it's the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients. When you first registered to Bitcoin.co.id a month ago for example, you had to fill in some informations such as identity card or passport numbers, your name, address, etc. But now, you only need to fill in your username, email, password, and phone number for sms verification to protect your account. No need to give out personal details

It is territory dangerous or at war? is bali dangerous you mean? nope, it's a really great place. You might have to worry about some pickpockets stealing your money though but that's the more reason why you should use Bitcoin right?

yeah, they just updated their website, it looks much better now. Yes every merchant listed there accepts payment in Bitcoin. Their Bitcoin will be automatically converted into rupiah though so they're basically just using bitcoin as a media
do you had similiar plan to created some project about bitcoin ? like "bitcoin village" at your region.. or maybe some business accepting bitcoin Me? Nope, I'm just a normal bitcoin trader but I do join a local bitcoin community here but we don't specifically have a project like bitislands. I think Bitislands is the only project in indonesia that attempts to do something like this. I do know there's a bitcoin boulevard and bitcoin capital in amsterdam. It's basically the same thing but it's initiated by different startups there are actually a lot of places doing projects like this. There's one in Spain, Australia and US as well. But you're right, for now there's only the bitislands project in indonesia. thanks for the info. I hope projects like this do make much difference to the community. We need more people to use bitcoin... no prob It does make a difference, but as long as Bitcoin's price still fluctuates a lot, I don't think many merchants will be ready to accept Bitcoin

it's surely going to take some time and we need to wait for government's regulations, but I think it's not impossible if there are more people using Bitcoin as real money and not just like speculating in it
actually i am using bitcoin to buy pulse using bitcoin not rupiah as a payment it's little bit cheaper if price of bitcoin continue rising yaps you same like me, just use bitcoin to buy pulse, as in Indonesia has not been much to accept bitcoin, and by the government has not considered legal? cmiiw if PHD(pizza), and the like accept bitcoin, I will buy it every week in Indonesia, Bitcoin is treated like a digital commodity where it's legal to be traded, bought, and sold. The only legal currency is rupiah so we can't use bitcoin as a currency, same thing with US Dollar here in indonesia

It's still a bit hard to find places that accept payment in bitcoin to buy a movie ticket? here in indonesia? where?

your trading volume keeps growing like crazy. One time it even reached 600 BTC/24 hours, if I'm not mistaken? Well done, didn't think there would be so many bitcoin users in Indonesia
yeah, and there are more members in the site now. I think bitcoin.co.id gains about 100 members/day? most of these indonesian bitcoiners are just bitcoin traders though, not users. They don't use bitcoin to shop, they just trade it to gain profit. and that's why Bitcoin's price fluctuates a lot... Can't do anything about it though, since the price is too unstable for bitcoin to be used as a real currency That's right, bitcoins are not an alternative currency. They are something you buy in the midst of a mania, and you will sell at some point in order to get back your money. I think it's better to think Bitcoin as a technology that can help people send money better and to avoid unnecessary fees. But as a currency, I agree that it will be fairly impossible for it to become one, or at least won't be happening anytime soon... it's surely going to take some time and we need to wait for government's regulations, but I think it's not impossible if there are more people using Bitcoin as real money and not just like speculating in it
