When investors get the tokens, the price will go lower because of inflation. You are a fool to think like this. Inflation would be if there would be nothing in exchange for the coins. But in fact there is an additional 4.7 million dollars in development fund value added to the coin. Your coins are worth much more now. Especially because the investors paid 3 times the price. It's not being foolish. It's basic economics. When people receive their tokens, it will increase supply which will lower the price. There are many investors that got burnt because of the scam they just pulled off and will dump their coins to cut their losses. The millions they just made ripping off investors is not enough to satisfy their greed. Shame on them.  You can drive it back down to 9k. I know you can. The same "FUD" that is being spread now at ~15k sats is the same "FUD" that was spread at 600 sats. The smart ones don't spread it, but they do take advantage of it. I can't complain though. If I was Dor, I'd be doing a company AMP buy back right now on the open market to pick up all these cheap AMPs the saps are selling. Just take $1M out of the $4.7M and you could purchase back 9.25M AMPs which you could sell for much more later. Seriously Dor, think about it.

They attempted to psychologically trick the "donators" to think that the price was 50x more than this coin is worth by setting an ICO price, allowing the price on the exchanges to rise. Once ICO is over, they started dumping en masse netting them a double profit. Dor is an absolute greedy scumbag. We set the price for the sale 25% lower than peak market price. My opinion on what is happening is that certain naive individuals expected a significant increase in the AMP price immediately after the crowdsale concluded. When they realized that it might not occur immediately they all started panic selling causing this decline and are pointing their fingers at imaginary "whales" when in reality they should be looking in the mirror and pointing it at themselves.
Excuse me? user DecentralizeEconomics was hyping about AMP reaching ridiculous high prices very fast ( 'next year at least 4 dollar' ) There was no manipulation ? how about the large sell walls followed by bots on the sell side driving the price down ? it was obvious market manipulation. it was unfortunate that the end of crowdsale coincided with BTC sky rocketing, or there would have been a mega pump.
BTC only went from ~$630 to $686. I don't think a $56 (aka 8.8%) increase qualifies as "sky rocketing". Compared to the BTC price during the original crowdsale, ~$230, BTC really did "sky rocket" to $630 at the same time AMP sky rocketed from ~600 sats to ~30k sats. If a 2.73x increase in BTC didn't prevent AMP from increasing by a 50 multiple, I don't think a 8.8% increase in BTC is causing this "panic selling". This is fucking ridiculous, market manipulation at its finest, walls were purposely set twice and crashed the price hard twice, screwing investors short and long term, At this rate AMPS peak will be 10,000 SATOSHI if that.
Can AMP respond to give some comfort for investors that bought at the crowdsale? I know the price may never see 30,000 again mabye we can suffer a 15% loss or 20% but at this rate this is absolutely scary. 50?!%
Given, that AMP is an amazing project and I do see massive potential but now we are rivaling with Zcash.
I flat out feel like I am going to vomit, Crypto Currency is starting to really show its true colors. To much manipulation, When you are developing a coin I believe its in your best interest to not screw over the initial investors making you who you are.

Fearful, very very fearful, the whales will NOT profit because they are buying right NOW but whos to say the price will go back up unless they cause the spike? There are people who try to shake out the weak hands for their own gain in every market. The uninformed are the ones who fall into their traps and sell. The solution to this problem is: "Don't sell if you think the project has potential". What do you expect people to do? No, there were never any promises made by any of the Synereo team. The crowdsale ran for four weeks. The first two weeks the price was 33k sat. The third week it was 36.5k sat. The fourth week it was 40k sat. There were bonus depending on how much you purchased. There are never any promises in the free markets. |
