Do I need to send this small amount for validation from the address I am validating? Or does this not matter? I had funds during your hard fork on one address, and this address holds UBTC in your block explorer, but those are long moved to another one.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - 🚀 BTC Airdrop Now 🚀 on: January 15, 2018, 01:23:11 AM
Glad to be the part of this project. I filled a proper form from the opening post-thread. I added a signature. However, one thing needs a clarification - do I need to sign a message on my btc core wallet somehow to receive SEM? Would appreciate any help. Thank you!

Hello Guys, Thank you for making this project a reality. I would like to ask two things:

1. Do we have any light wallet? Synching a classical desktop one takes AGES! Sad
2. Do we have any exchanges that allow deposits and withdrawals in B2X?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: UnitedBitcoin - UBTC - Launched in Silicon Valley on Dec 12 by Jeff Garzik on: January 14, 2018, 08:15:59 PM
I would like a person responsible for support. I received almost all the answers I was seeking. However, there is one more thing that needs clarification:

How exacly am I going to receive UBTC? Do I need to copy a wallet file to UBTC-qt? Or import a private key? Does anyone know?

Hello. Looks like I missed phase one distribution. Do I still get my coins if I import priv keys to your btc united wallet?

Did you meet our criteria of phase 1 or phase 2?

You must have held bitcoin at block height 498,777 and conducted an outgoing transaction between 494,000 and the fork (498,777) to meet phase 1 criteria and receive UBTC automatically.

If not, phase 2 criteria is that you must have bitcoin at block height 498,777 and conducted an outgoing transaction between 494,000 and 502,315, which will result in distribution of UBTC on 24 Jan 2018.

However, if you do not fulfill both phases then please provide proof of an outgoing transaction from the address that held BTC at 498,777 along with detailed explanation as why you missed phase 1 or phase 2.

Please email to supprt@ub.com for assistance.

I did miss phase one distribution, because I did not know about your project. It only happend I actually knew about it a few days ago. So, there is no argument that I do not fulfill phase 1 criteria to receive UBTC.

However, I was helding Bitcoins on my wallet during block number 498,777, and I had an outgoing transaction before block number 502,315.

So, as I understood, in this case I do qualify for the second phase of distribution? Also, I sent a message to your support. Thank you!

Hello. Do we have any exchanges for Bytether? Last time I checked, yobit was offering BTH transactions, but I guess it is a different coin, right?

19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Exporting private keys from old Core Wallet on: November 07, 2017, 05:34:24 PM
Each address has it's own key... so, logically, if you have coins spread across multiple address, you're going to need to get multiple keys. (NOTE: Instead of using 'dumpprivkey' multiple times to get each private key, you can use the 'dumpwallet' command to just dump the whole wallet out to a file).

PROS: Free! Maintains privacy (none of the addresses will be linked)
CONS: Time consuming, messy, possibility of missing a key/address

Or... as Spendulus has suggested, just send ALL the coins in that wallet to a new address in that wallet, and just export that one key for the new address.

PROS: Just one key to rule them all! Tongue
CONS: Will cost a transaction fee... which could get large dependent on how many UTXOs you're trying to consolidate, plus you have to wait for confirmation... possible privacy implications
I understand. Thank you. One more question - that command "dumpwallet" won't do anything to my wallet iselft or my bitcoins? It just "dumps" all data to a text file?
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Exporting private keys from old Core Wallet on: November 05, 2017, 01:05:55 AM
Hey Guys. I would like to export my private keys from Core Wallet. Let's say I have several addresses with at least one incoming transaction on each. Would that mean I will have to a private key for each address individually, or would I rather receive one key for all addresses?

Thanks!
