Yeah, I think the same as you. Maybe the price wants to give a little surprise to us and gives a little profit so we can feel happy and pretending that the bull market is happening. But lets we wait what will happen in the next week, and if the condition still likes this, then the chance for big waves will come to us. But if in the next week, the price is back to the lower price, then this is the best chance for us to make a profit while the price is at the higher price.

A single person investing a lot of money and buying a big amount of coins from the market isn't such a bad thing... this person is called investor and that's what we need.
Simple "users" won't push the price up.
The bad-kind-of-whales which I'm afraid of are the mining farms which obtain big amounts of "free" coins. After the last bullrun we have a lot of greedy people who mine only to dump, without caring about the technology or the fight for a more fair financial system. Thankfully ARK is free of them.
However, someone who becomes a whale because they bought from the market is someone who believes in the project. In worst case, they'll sell 100% of what they bought back to the market bringing the price back to where it was before they buy-in.

For the stock market, it's normal for big investors to buy stocks worth of million $ when they believe in a company, and that's what every company is trying to achieve; gather big investors!

I think the mobile wallet update is just a coincidence. This was probably a single whale buying a huge chunk of coins! I hope more clever people will realise the ARK's strength and position in the market... well... it doesn't matter for me either way... I'm holding for years!

Days like today feel like the bull market is back again. Let's see if there is follow through next week and bitcoin can get to $6K on this rally.

40$ is the next target of the LTC in the coming days, and in 2019 I believe the LTC will reach 100$ or at least 80$ when 2019 ends. LTC is one of my favorite altcoin and is investing in it

Thinking about spending a trillion dollar cap back in the day into a thousand crypto currencies makes me cring, if we managed to squeeze that into just top 20 coins instead of diluting the crypto space we could have had a much much bigger bitcoin/ethereum and all the other top 20 coins instead of sharing it with other smaller coins. With the new bull people will be careful about smaller coins and will instead try to invest into bigger ones which will make the next bull much better.

What hackers? Do you believe that? The thieves are working on Cryptopia. Last year I lost coins on Cryptopia. I've replaced Zero coins for Bitcoins and my Bitcoins have never appeared on the account ever. The thieves did not want return my the coins.

Now as the market looks more optimistic and with all the news of some of the coins going up substantially it's easier to forget, that most of them underperformed in terms of the forecasts that were made previously. Iota is up 67 percent, stratis 108 percent, and bitcoin cash 150 percent. It’s an impressive recovery, but it’s certainly not a reversal. Back in January, “expert” traders were throwing out wildly ambitious end of year targets that, amidst full bull market hysteria, may not have seemed that outlandish at the time. As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?
